In all honesty this is the update I have been waiting for. I'll check on it once its out in the wild, if all is well I will find a copy for £15.

Just reading the review now... just want to say, I hope Guerrilla make a 3rd Horizon game with Rost taking the lead telling the story of Alloy becoming an outcast and the part he played. Imagine playing as Rost, Kratos in Horizon? YES PLEASE! I also think this would complete what has so far been a thrilling story. I can't wait to play Forbiden West, I did cancel my pre order as I'm saving for a car but re-enstated it today. Roll on Friday!!

Its going to be very interesting to see which sites have the balls to tell Rockstar there games are rubbish. Already terms like 'Review bombing' and 'not as bad as it seems' are been banded around to make light of the situation. I was so looking forward to these games and nearly made the fatal mistake of buying them before any reviews had come out. It's baffling how crap like this even gets out of the door. Fair enough, I've not played the definitive edition but if half of what is said is true then its simply not good enough.

I absolutely loved the 90s original GTA games. In fairness I guess all the other games are better but doing ruthless ***** in a video game for the 1st time was epic.
When you think I was playing Alex the kid, Mario and sonic, then got my hands on GTA , things were never quite the same after.

Seems like death stranding to me which was crap.

7.5 billion!! I honestly can't believe they have paid so much. To the point if feels more like a warning shot combined with a business decision. The I.P is strong with Bethesda tbf but not that strong. But, even if Microsoft do throw money at everything it won't change install base. If PS5 wipes the floor with Xbox then developers will not want to align with one console regardless of money, unless it's 7.5 billion of course. But if Xbox sells well Playstation could have just received it's first sucker punch (pun intended) from Microsoft. This buy out could have just derailed the industry into a Microsoft utopia. I hope not.

I want one, now doubt, but I don't mind waiting tbh. I've got an insane back log and with ps now I'm just not in a rush. Will defo pick it up from a retailer if available day one, if not, no problem.

Also, I knew there would be a £100 difference between 5he console and said 399/499 all along. On paper it's too much but it pushes us all to going totally digital which is truly sweet for the industry.

Make no mistake, the UK is valued by Sony. Especially when you consider they sell the same amount of consoles on average in the UK than they do America. I can't see the release date been anything other than the same day for the UK (Europe) and America.

I honestly thing Sony are in a hard position. Xbox has given the green light on a £500 console but does Sony really want to price the disc-less at £450, £150 more? I don't see they have much option tbh and although £450 will be a decent offer in comparison it suddenly doesn't seem great...

I don't think it's delayed. Looks like mid November is the sweet spot for release. What is really getting on my tits is how ball less Sony is. They are clearly waiting for Microsoft to drop the price first. It looks like they are both going to be £500 so just let the cat out the bag already! Unless these things are £600 plus and neither company dare go first. Which ever way, it's crap customer service.

Sony and Microsoft are really pis🤬🤬ng me off now. They are both spinless mugs with no balls. None dare release a price and are just selfishly waiting for the other at our expense. Like the fact the consumer doesn't need to know the price isn't important. I was all for trying my best to get a ps5 day one, but the disregard both companies have show has put me off completely. FF doesn't appeal to me in the slightest, never has. RE7 will be worth a blast. Did play it in VR but it was crap. Looked terrible. Wrestling? Grow up! 😂

I've tried to doit using maps on a website. It's an absolute nightmare. It's slow, it reloads everytime, it goes onto different pages...the list goes on.

They need to find a happy medium with this and make sure 'social' doesn't become intrusive. That's the problem I have with this whole online social element of gaming these days. I think they forget about the 30yr plus age range sometimes.

I'm not sure consoles need to be anymore social than let's play and compare games.

Other companies are doing socials better and it's not really necessary so what's the point?

I just hope they use gaming media as a form of social interaction and provided us with tools we can actually use to produce gaming related content.

Looks like Rocksteadys Gotham of old which is a tad disappointing. But it is in Gotham so I guess what can you do. Bat Girl looks ace as do the rest and it looks as though the fight style is totally revamped. Superman would have made all the difference to this game imo.

Honestly, push Square is a great site. This click bate is undermining all the good you do and leaves you feeling tricked. Just be honest about the article, and not attach loose narrative that is unlikely to be related.

@Aexurion I think this will be done largely through playstion now or similar, So technically not backwards compatible. I think only ps4 games will be truly backwards compatible.

I personally think it will only be backwards compatible to PS4 BUT PS3, PS2 & PS1 games will be playable through playstion now. As I said months ago I reckon they will fold ps plus and ps now together for say £9.99pm giving us (for the most part) the complete PS catalogue and a service in line or better than xbox game pass.

I was hoping Horizon would tell Rost's story this time and drop Aloy. That would have been ace and could tell such a good story with so much to pull from.
Fighting with other tribes, the rise of the robots, Rost growing and his development and finally leaving with Aloy. I hope they do this for the 3rd one.

Where is GTA 6?

God of war. A fantastic documentary and a 10/10 game. Sadly the picture does depict crunch culture though a very real lense. Thank you for your sacrifices.

I would not have dreamed of buying a console without a disk drive before covid. But since I've been in lockdown (and leading up to it) Ive purchased all my games online. I have playstion now and playstation plus so it's a no brainer for me to get the online version unless it literally only works when connected to the internet like Xbox planned with the one. That could be a deal breaker.

Indications seem good. Just listening to the kinda funny pod and Greg Miller let slip but covered it up saying it plays like Assassin's creed, also saying his co host will not get the pad back from his partner once they play it indicating IMO we MAY have a good game on our hands, that's if Gregg's opinion means anything to anyone obviously.....

@kyleforrester87 they did a great job with all the infamous games tbf, that's the game that got me to switch from Xbox funny enough so they defo have the pedigree. I just get the feeling that what's there will become repetitive very quickly UNLESS there is a host of killer features to blind side us and that's the side I'm hoping for. I had more anticipation for this game then TLOU2 at one point, now Cyberpunk has my anticipation levels maxed out.

Something seems off with this game. When I initially seen the game and those fields and the wind and the stylish sword kills I was hooked but since the last video of gameplay it looks kinda empty and I just have a feeling it's not gone to plan. I do hope I'm wrong because this game could be something truly unique, I just don't think I am.

I took a year sub on now and don't regret it one bit. I took it just at the right time too, the month control came out! and the games have been pretty good since. Plus finding hidden gems like Sniper has been a treat. Well worth the money, I found a discounted code for like £37 for the year. My only gripe, you can never find which games are going to be released untill the day normally. Or they do the odd blog, it's inconsistent and needs addressing BUT overall well worth the money.

Now on the whole, farming simulator, City Skylines, Call of duty WW11 and Starwars Battlefront 2 seems like a nice mix of games. I'm still fuming the first two were and are available on ps now but, what can you do.
