If you haven’t heard of Valheim, then you probably aren’t visiting many video game websites. This is the thing right now – just like Fortnite, Fall Guys, and PUBG were once upon a time. The Norse survival release has sold two million copies in just two weeks, and word of mouth is so outrageously strong that said number will surely double before the end of the month.
Of course, it’s only available on PC at the moment, which does limit its potential audience somewhat. So is there any chance of the Viking adventure sailing to PlayStation 5 in the near-future? Given the levels of success this title is seeing, we’d be shocked if it didn’t end up on the PlayStation Store eventually – it’s perhaps worth noting that the aforementioned page was last updated on 18th January, before the game launched and became the next big survival game sensation. Ports don’t grow on trees, though, so don’t expect much to change in the short-term.
