This one is on my list! Time Extension reported on it March 2024. Over Jump Rally is another one that looks promising but no news on that one for awhile.
Both of these have my full attention!

It’s going to be real hard to put down Death Stranding 2 but I’ve also been dying for a proper RS: Vegas rerelease or something at least like it for years! It’s at the top of my list at the moment.

I treated this review like a recipe site and jumped right down to the bottom to read the score you gave.
I don’t want to spoil anything for myself as this is my number 1 anticipated game this year. I’ll come back and read the actual review once I’ve put some time in to see if it lines up with my own thoughts. For now, I have my early access copy installing and I’m way beyond excited to get started! Other comments suggest the game is more of the same and to that I say GOOD! Best of luck out there, porters!

Price is the only reason I don’t own one. Would love to play Gran Turismo though! Maybe one day in the future if there’s another deep sale like that one time….. that’s a huge maybe.

@Lavishturtle sounds like you personally never played it, considering you’re saying it’s not even a game while it very much is exactly a game.

As a fan, I’m excited to see where this universe goes. I also loved Raised by Wolves (in my eyes, even the intro to the show was hitting me in the feels.)

I keep picturing the animated piece mentioned in this article looking like that 90s show “Reboot” LOL

I’m drooling… I cannot wait for this! It feels like I’m getting ready to go on vacation in this world but it’s going to be far from it. One of the only games I’m actually looking forward to the story and know it’s going to deliver.

Amazing. For as much as I love 2, and believe me, I absolutely adore it and the remake, the first one was always way more scary to me.
The second was psychological, the first was scary just from walking down hallways and just looking at the environment. I’m so excited for this but I also dread the wait. I feel like it was a chore to wait so long for the second remake (was so worth it) but this is going to be another patience test 😩

I hope they keep the little sound effects that would happen randomly and figure out a way to keep the cinematic camera angles on certain scenes. Don’t know how that would translate though if it’s going to be 3rd person again.
Nonetheless, I don’t care, I’m here for whatever they serve up!

I think this looks INSANELY good. I’m all for it and will be buying day one if it continues the positive momentum.

Base game was utterly fantastic and I’m glad I got to enjoy it in that regard.

Exciting!! I think the whole Death Stranding concept is really cool and has potential to be expanded upon like this so I’m all for it. Only thing is it’s hard to imagine it without Sam/Norman Reedus being the main character.

Can’t wait for all the negative comments about Kojima in here. Say what you will but he’s the only one making actual playable new things and not just rehashing the video game same stuff over and over. That takes talent either way you cut it.

@TheArt agreed! The graphics in the latest WRC are the best by far and is what I consider the most realistic dust trails in a console racing game. They did a really good job with everything!
The only tweak is what I mentioned… just a tad more gritty would go a long way.

I think EA/Codemasters did a fantastic job with that latest WRC entry on PS5.
Only thing I’d ask for in future entries is for it to be a little more gritty. Like Gran Turismo and plenty of other games, it’s a bit “sterile” looking when it should have the contrast cranked a bit.

The most dark souls/fromsoft stuff I’ve seen in a movie was some of the scenes from The Green Knight. I’d love for an entire movie of that, which this will hopefully end up being. Very cool!

I respect Kojima’s form and style so much. He has an almost unmatched understanding of his mediums.

I have fond memories of this back when I was in the military playing this over a 2 person lan party in my barracks. Reviving each other fighting the big “boom” guys.

The game is cool but not sure I need to play it again. Maybe for nostalgia-sake I’ll buy it on sale.
When Halo releases, I’ll be all over that in a second. I’ve only ever played 1 and 2 so there’s a lot of content I missed out on that I’m looking forward to with that. Hoping we get the entire collection if that drops!!

This show, this season 2, is done soooo well. Last night’s episode was amazing. The transit tunnel scene was intense as hell and seeing them emerge into the rain outside the theater was so cool… it’s such an iconic scene as a fan. I’m enjoying every single episode so far!!

It comes down to me just not playing multiplayer games. Scheduling time and network dropouts and committing all that time for a session… I’m just not interested. It can be played single player I hear but it not designed to be so…

I like the concept with one universe—actually I LOVE that—but I’m just not interested right now… I like a dedicated single player game and always have. I’ll wait for a review or some hands on stuff before I give a final decision.

I have a tough enough time trying to play Mario Party on Switch with 2 other people. And those rounds take a loooong time.

I feel like this isn’t a good sign that they had to put out a(nother) video for it. Interest might be much lower than expected 😬

@Dominator2885 I’ve got to agree there! I think I’ve only ever beaten GTA 3 and Vice City back in the day. The maps were large enough to feel explorative but not too large to make learning them too difficult. So very much excited for this!! I think Sucker Punch is going to make a true gem here.

I was blown away by the map size in Tsushima so this could be bonkers.
I hope there is a lot to look at and see in the in-between because a large map by itself without any real purpose/just for the sake of it could actually harm it. That’s why I bounced off GTAV so many times, it was just too dang big and overwhelming.

@DennisReynolds going that extra download and install step is the icing. How many times I buy a game after work on a “night off” and can’t even play it because it takes so long to download and install. She got you the gift and also ample time to play it that evening! Don’t let that one get away!

Will likely avoid this coverage so it’s fresh as can be. Will be fighting the urge though.

One could argue a poster or t shirt would show you’re a pretty big fan. But a glorified female mannequin with exaggerated features is just awkward.

I never got upset with a game for letting me change the difficulty during gameplay. …I’ve never used that option but I also never held it against the game knowing it was there.
Options are great, it’s just up to the person to decide if they want to use it.

I actually got choked up watching this. My best friend and wife just had a daughter in December so it hit extra hard on that level. He’s also getting this and is a huge fan of Kojima/MGS/DS. I’m freaking stoked for this game…

WOW this looks stellar from the trailer. What I love about it is the grittiness and how it’s not so bright and colorful like GT7. Don’t get me wrong, GT7 is beautiful and dreamlike but sometimes I want my sim to be more sim-y like this with higher contrast etc.
Will likely get this if it reviews well!

So freaking excited to get some news on this. It’s been a delicate balance between avoiding spoilers/keeping things a surprise and trying to get some release date rumors and the like.
This is my number 1 anticipated game this year… hoping it releases sooner than “late 2025”, although that’s perfectly fine all things considered, I guess.
Either way, can’t wait!

I forget if I had Underground or 4 for GameCube back then (pretty sure it was 4) but either way it’ll be cool to revisit this series again. Absolutely loved 1+2 and I’m hoping my wife wants to take turns playing 3+4 together again like we did 1+2!

I learned in this comment section that this is not Forza Motorsport like I’ve played on Xbox back in the day (haven’t played a Forza game since 2!)
Instead this is sort of a spinoff, more arcadey racer.
That’s kind of cool and smart considering there’s already a masterclass sim racer available, optimized for the system: GT7.

I’m still not sure if I’m getting this or not. I’d kind of rather another Dirt game or something instead of this. I do remember loving Forza Motorsport back in the day though so we shall see what reviews say. I’m one of those who thinks $60 is fair: it’s brand new game for some, myself included. I expect to pay $60 for new games.

@Jimmer-jammer this is exactly what I was going to say. It makes sense to do 3 from a cost perspective since some locations in 3 are in 2 (and vice versa) so they can reuse some assets/things but I’d really love for a proper 1 remake in the vein of 2.
If they could combine 1 and 3 or do some kind of interweaving stories thing like last of us part 2, that would be insanely cool and fresh.

Is it bad if I like the art direction better than Returnal’s? I played Returnal for a bit when it was free on PS plus but this is more colorful and “fun”.
I may check it out if it ends up rating well. It just goes to prove to myself, it’s not always about better graphics.

Ugh, it seems I’m not alone in my wishes for another single-player Rainbow Six.
I played the crap out of every Rainbow Six, especially 3 (the Alcatraz level was awesome) and both Vegas games.
Really wish they’d re-release Vegas for consoles. I don’t play computer games, despite them both being on Steam. Ubisoft, please release a dual pack port for modern consoles for us folks who don’t do this online competitive gameplay! I want to hunt terrorists and unlock stuff!
