Sony has now opened up pre-orders for the Death Stranding 2 limited edition PS5 controller it has to offer alongside the game. The special pad launches on the same day as the game, 26th June 2025, and costs £74.99.
Pre-orders are live in the UK and across Europe on Sony's official PlayStation Direct website, with the controller currently still available at the time of writing. Here's where you can pre-order it:

The controller uses the Midnight Black colourway as its base, and puts orange decals on the front. The new Drawbridge logo is on the touchpad while there are other little details on the two grips. "Keep the supplies moving with the latest piece of hardware for Porters heading out on a new journey in Death Stranding 2: On the Beach," says the pre-order ad.

Swear that’s the most bland design out there, especially for a game as out there as this?
The PS4 controller was much better. Wish it was like that. They based this controller on the delivery service side of things, lol. still going to buy this though
That is bloody awful - and I bought The Last of Us one 😅
Although it's pretty simple, I like the design, but as I only get extra controllers on sale, I'm skipping it
Death Stranding is my favourite game of all time and DS2 is my most anticipated game of 2025 but my god that’s an awful controller, no thank you!
Such low effort, couldn't they at least have put a BB in it.
U-G-L-Y, you ain't got no alibi
You ugly, hey, hey, you ugly
What a downgrade from the gorgeous looking DualShock 4 from the first game, this looks like a standard black controller with an DHL/UPS sticker slapped on it.
I love this!!! Preordered!
