@Max_the_German If helpful, you can toggle off nudity in the options menu. You can even reduce the intensity of certain jump scares too!

Sounds reasonable! Who knows, maybe it will apply a bit of pressure on publishers to reign in some of these more predatory practices.

An option like this would be great for newcomers! I'm on my 2nd playthrough and would also love an option like this to skip or shorten certain sequences.

Great writeup, fully agree! The visuals are extremely nice in person with SO much detail in the backgrounds.

The combat is evolving nicely (there are even Runic abilities!) and TC Carson is doing a great job.

I felt the vibration was way overdone and in a rare move for me I turned it off. That's my only real complaint, looking forward to playing more!

Fingers crossed! But I'll take God of War 1 and 2 natively playable as PS2 classics. It's absurd how thin the lineup is in that category. I had hoped Sly Cooper would open the floodgates but nope.

I liked what I tried but with no meaningful single player I couldn't imagine spending time on it when I can play Tekken 8 instead whenever the mood strikes.

Tekken 8 and Street Fighter 6 have to make it tough for a content-lite fighter like this to stand out.

I enjoyed this series on the PS2 and have bounced off of each entry I've tried since, but I would love to play these cool arcade games.

I have never felt as out of step with general tastes as I do with this console generation.

This is just the latest example for me, because I thought it looked great. And I almost never play multiplayer games.

Missed the chance to vote, but the most fun I've had on PS5 this year is 3 back to back playthroughs of Ninja Gaiden 4!

Fingers crossed! Sands of Time is my favorite game and I replay it almost annually.

I don't get on well with sidescrolling metroidvanias, but from the few hours I played of the original I loved the characters and world building.

A prequel made into my favorite subgenre (melee action/character action game) is a the best possible outcome as far as I'm concerned. Day 1!

I was worried about buying this because I'm often disappointed with sequels and I've got major open-world fatigue.

I'm so glad I took the chance. Easy 9 from me so far, an improvement on the already great Tsushima across the board.

For me this is the most easy to recommend sequel since something like God of War 2 and Uncharted 2. It isn't massively different, but it IS massively refined.

As a guy who shaves his head, the only thing I saw that irks me is that she is using her clippers backwards.

Otherwise this was a good announcement trailer from a good developer who has only made good games for at least 30 years.

Given ND's track record, I'm looking forward to another good game!

I have this game in my PS2 collection. I haven't played it but my wife enjoyed it for a while. Cool that it's coming to modern consoles and a bigger potential audience!

9 out of 10 for me! It's absolutely outstanding and it might be my personal favorite PS exclusive since God of War 2018 (note: I'm about halfway through currently). Also my favorite 3D platformer sine Super Mario Odyssey.

I dislike 1-hit kill mechanics in general though, so I really wish you could take 2 or 3 hits (like you can in some bosses) instead of just 1. The checkpointing is lovely though, so it's not a huge issue.

Overall, it's nearly everything I could want from a modern 3D platformer, a console exclusive, and as a follow-up to the delightful experience I had with Astro's Playroom!
