@wiiware The Vita is such a wonderful device, especially for indies and classics! If you play the likes of Spelunky, Guacamelee, Super Meat Boy, Dead Nation, Resogun or Rogue Legacy on the PS4, it feels as if you're not using the hardware right, whereas with my Vita I get all caught up playing them and really appreciate what the devs were going for.
Just this weekend I bought a new Vita and Wii U, because I'm really afraid I won't be able to find one easily if something happens to my current ones. Every time I think I pretty much own every Vita game I want, I end up buying another one that's on sale to my surprise. It's a RPG powerhouse and hosts some pretty quirky games as well. Games like Danganronpa, Ys, Suikoden 2, Persona 4 Golden, Trails of Cold Steel, Dragon's Crown, Muramasa Rebirth, Odin Sphere or the beautiful Oreshika belong on the Vita and I can't imagine I'll ever get bored of them.
@wiiware I see the Switch as the Vita 2 we're never gonna get with all of the wonderful Nintendo games thrown in as a bonus. The 3ds has some excellent games, but playing them is such a painful experience; the Vita is a superior console in every way, except for the library. It certainly looks like the Switch will be easy to use, it'll have triggers and if Nintendo gives us a decent amount of retro games like you said, I think every gamer should be getting one.
It won't be just Mario and Zelda, but we'll finally get a Monster Hunter on a handheld that doesn't give you RSI, we'll get bigger and better Pokémon games and we'll see all kinds of quirky RPGs. The Switch might send my Vita in an early semi- retirement.
We should all hope that the Switch performs well, cause the industry needs it. Software sales are dwindling and without Nintendo we won't get anyway near the number of consoles sold that we saw last gen. But most important of all: the Nintendo gamer of today, is the PS, Xbox and/ or PC gamer of tomorrow.
A 'runaway succes'? I think even the people from Take- Two aren't that sure about that. It's all relative of course, but with Rockstar seemingly abandoning the "little games" to fill up the caveats between GTA and RDR, production cost going through the roof and all the heavy hitters of the last gen underperforming, the meaning of 'runaway succes' has not only changed, its recipe seems to have changed as well.
RDR isn't a big name like GTA is, but Take- Two has been pouring GTA money in it, so the return on investment has to be incredibly high and is much more of a risk than it is with GTA. The Rockstar name will make up for 10- 15 million lifetime sales on itself, but after relative flops like Evolve, Mafia 3 (which didn't even sell that bad, but didn't do as expected) and Battleborn, Take- Two needs more. And as we've seen this holiday season, Juggernauts are underperforming more and more, a trend that has been visible throughout this entire gen.
Gameprices are under huge pressure, undermining the value of the IP and having gamers waiting for price drops, there are more games than ever to choose from, mobile is still on the rise and PS3 and 360 sales aren't ways of expanding your market anymore: there is so much counting on a game that only had one game that was widely acknowledged to be a huge hit, but isn't anyway near of the rock solid IP it's big bro GTA is. So if this game misses the magic that the Benz sprinkled on the last part and is met with negative/ mediocre reviews, it could just as well be a flop, although it probably sell 5- 7 million in the first month alone.
What I do know is that not just Take Two, but lots of other publishers will be monitoring this release closely, praying to God that the market finally goes back to "normal" again.
I'd go for the Turtle Beach 520s, which is the improved version of the 500p. With their current price tag of €100 they're cheaper than this unit, and if the Gold headset is anything to go by they'll offer a far superior build quality. The quality of the mic is also way better than what the Gold headset offered and although 3D sound is really fun, you can't beat the easy accessible "superhuman hearing" option on the Turtle Beach headset.
@AFCC Have you considered the above mentioned headset? Amazon Germany sells them for €99.
Now I wonder if that Russian site that leaked the deals was right anyway, they're 3 out 3 at this point.
For people who wonder what else was on the list: Rise of the Tomb Raider Fallout 4 Dishonored II The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition Battlefield 1 Uncharted 4 Titanfall 2 Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare FIFA 17 Grand Theft Auto V Watch Dogs 2 Final Fantasy XV
@Bliquid Charlize Theron is one of my favorite actresses! Mainly because she's South African actually, just li.... oh wait, now I understand!
I was just kidding anyway mate. I actually agree that the likes of Vega for instance should've been Italian from the start; a fashionable pretty boy wearing a mask who's representing pure evil... it doesn't get more Italian than that!!
This just reeks of old school bullet hell combined with the smooth and vibrant visuals Housemarque is known for. This announcement deserved more tbh and Sony should start buying this studio already, cause it's one of the best in the biz.
There's just so much fanservice! Sony is really building upon its legacy and it's incredible to see them play the nostalgia card just as good as Nintendo does. But it's more than just that: they cater to all sorts of gamers in general, not just the ones that once fell in love with the likes of Parappa. MvC and Windjammers are great examples, but so are Gravity Rush and the Yakuza localizations of which I'm pretty sure they just cost them bags of money.
I honestly never thought we'd see a new MvC, especially after 3 got taken down from the storefront, and to finally be able to play Windjammers on an actual console again is something I wouldn't even have dreamt about because of the minimal chance of it actually happening.
@adf86 The Pro is kind of a mixed bag as of now, and even before these problems arose there were lots of questions left unanswered. PushSquare somehow seemed to look at these questions people were having as ungrounded attacks and decided to strike back with articles where these people were literally told to just st*u. And although I enjoyed the extensive VR coverage, there wasn't made a real effort to address some valid concerns about Sony's dedication to the hardware for example. Because of Sony's half-hearted attempt to hype/ market/ explain it, which could also be said about the Pro btw, the prognosed sales numbers for 2016 were lowered by quite some units by analysts today and I feel this should've been discussed more thoroughly here.
And don't get me wrong: I myself like my Pro and the PSVR is easily my best piece of hardware since the PS3, but PushSquare's coverage of these things -and many more- has gone from 'critical' to 'advertisement' the last few months.
Come on guys, really?! This so called "deal" is nothing but a slap in the face of loyal customers who immediately see prices have been bumped up substantially and/or have been way better in previous sales on their own, without the need to purchase another game as filler.
I like game related sites to have a positive stance on gaming in general and the occasional defending of a free PS+ game here and there is okay, but some critical thinking and actual journalism should still be the main goal.
Push Square has been unfairly criticized for being too cynical in the past, but Sony simply had it coming back in the day. Then after the first 2 years of the successful launch of the PS4 they found the sweetspot where criticism, jokes and sarcasm went hand in hand with a positive attitude and love for Sony... but lately Push Square seems more like one big advertisement for all things PlayStation to be quite honest; many things are praised into the heavens without a clear reason or any apparent critical thinking and even worse, PushSquare is doing more damage control than Sony itself lately when it comes to stuff like PS Pro, PS VR, sales and games.
This comment isn't just based on some articles I've read this week; this has been going on for quite some time now. I understand you should never bite the hand that feeds you and that PlayStation fans like a positive vibe, but the line between fan and fanboy is very thin apparently. I understand it's hard to strike the right balance, but I sure as heck liked PS's content better when it didn't feel like I was at my local car dealership.
@GBMatthew
You don't even know half of it; the staff actually agrees that 'Mr. Banhammer' is going on one of his powertrips far too often, but "it's hard to find someone who's willing to put in so much time for free these days". So they don't even back him up when confronted with the facts about how ridiculous my ban was, they just say we all have to work around this one guy who finally found something in his life where he's in charge... we should pity him if anything...
I used to come here on a daily basis, but after this debacle I just can't anymore. I've never gone overboard with cussing and even moderated the occasional sh*t or cr*p, always contributed to discussions in a positive way and I really considered myself a part of the PushSquare community. But after being banned without a warning or even a notice, without anyone knowing why exactly and with the staff asking me not to make a big deal out of it so they don't have to confront BanC Hammer themselves, I'm done with these people.
You can have a wonderful website like this with all the news I care about and with some of the funniest editors around; if you're all a bunch of spineless guys without b*lls. I just can't respect you.
@Tasuki Taking this here for a sec, probably abandoned now anyway.
Why was I banned for a week mate, I honestly don't know?! And the worst part is that it gets me banned on NL too! I come here on a daily basis and always actively try and watch the language since I learned Britain and American people just tend to cus less than we do, but to see myself banned, having to find out for myself on what topic, but still not knowing why... that's kinda harsh.
I'm not some 15 y/o troll and although my history on this site isn't impeccable because I've gone out of (your) line for saying "serving us crap", it should be evident I'm a good guy all around. When 30- something men from the States feel there's a need to put 30- something men from SA in the penalty bin, they should have at least have the courtesy to tell them why. I know it's not your fault, it's the PS system, but it just all feels so terribly... well, Trump. Especially if you consider that about a day after I got banned there's a huge header on the site telling people to stop "bitchin"; I'm pretty sure that what I've said isn't any more questionable than this. I even think the term "4king", that was used to describe the PSPro, is a bit odd for a "family site" (PushSquare's words, not mine ).Replacing letters for numbers or symbols is just as bad as the profanity itself...
"Sony's annual PlayStation Experience event was only announced a few weeks ago, but it's already on top of us like… Like… Nah, that's not fit for a family site"
Ha! Good thing you backed out just on time; with Tasuki monitoring this place 24/7 for missteps like these, it could've been a really slow few days for PushSquare!
@BAMozzy The Wii U actually gives you a way to test input lag conveniently because it has an extremely responsive extra screen with its gamepad (for the tech that's used anyway). So just hold the screen next to the TV, press A and see what happens. If you film it in slow motion it's pretty easy to see how the TV performs; you won't know the exact mili seconds, but it'll give you an idea.
I actually paid someone to calibrate my TV just like I do with all my high end TVs. Most TVs have pretty good calibration tools these days, but an expert can actually measure saturation and stuff, take into account where the TVs placed and he knows what's important for you personally. I just want a proper sports mode, I want the game mode optimalized and I had him create 2 extra custom game modes with 1 focusing on the graphics side of things (you haven't played TW3 until you've played it on an OLED imo) and the other with some extra brightness so I can easily make some games brighter without going into menus.
In the end going for OLED was a pretty easy decision to make for me because it suits my needs. I actually didn't plan on buying one because I was under the impression it would set me back $5000+, but when I went TV shopping and saw an OLED in action I knew I couldn't go for an LCD like I set out to do. Fortunately I could import my TV for a fair price, which saved me a good $2500 shipping included (don't get me started bout prices of electronics here in SA). But if you have a $1500- $2000 budget atm and aren't a pro gamer or anything, I'd just wait another year and either pick up a 2016 model on the cheap, or benefit from the ever dropping prices of OLED altogether.
I know these things always ruffle people's feathers, especially the ones who just bought a $2000 LED/LCD, but ultimately this is just my opinion and it's absolutely not meant to disrespect other people's TV of choice.
@BAMozzy For our living room I went with OLED although I read the reviews that it was indeed inconsistent at best in general, but I honestly haven't seen huge input lag! Like I said, we don't play any FPSs or fighting games on it, but with platformers like Mario 3D I'm usually really sensitive when it comes to input lag. I also connected both our PS4 and WiiU to the One S, just to see how the input lag was when I would let the One S upscale, but the TV itself actually did a better job.
But the thing is, I'm a passionate gamer, but a fairly poor one at it... so I might not notice it as much as a Pro SFV or CoD player would. That said, platformers, rpgs and racing games for instance all perform better than I ever expected and the OLED panel makes everything look so gorgeous. I really hope they'll improve on the input lag and that the tech gets cheaper, cause I've rocked a Panasonic plasma before I got the LG OLED and I just couldn't make the jump to 4K earlier; coming from Plasma most 4K TVs I saw felt like a downgrade overall.
@GBMatthew "LG OLED has the best picture and colours however, it suffers from the highest input lag"
That's not necessarily the case. If you're looking at the newer models, they actually perform on par with other 4K TVs. I've recently bought a 65" LG OLED, I believe a B model, and I was absolutely stunned by its performance for gaming purposes. It was initially meant to be the screen for the living room, which doesn't see a lot of 'twitch' gaming, but as soon as I get back home I'm buying me another one for my gaming room. Because now I'm abroad for work and have to use another tv, a 4K Panasonic which isn't too shabby either, I notice the incredible difference in visuals; the Panasonic with HDR content displaying, looks 10 times less vibrant as the LG with regular non-HDR input.... it's night and day!
Prices of OLED TVs are dropping pretty fast, so I wouldn't break the bank on a tv just yet. If you really want to experience 4K, the sub- $1000 Panasonic (58") is perfect for now, but don't invest $2000 now to see you could've gotten yourself an OLED in 2017 for the same amount of money.
Pro tip btw: keep your firmware up to date! This alone could shave 10s of ms of your HDR- gaming input lag I've been told.... or even simply enable it like in Samsung's case.
I can't believe I'm saying this bout a FPS, but this has a good chance of becoming my GOTY! It's Prince of Persia with guns and Titans, delivering the same thrill and excitement as Modern Warfare did last gen; just like back then, everything else feels so sluggish and outdated after playing TF2.
And for people who are on the fence whether to buy BF1, CoD or TF2, just take a closer look at the business models of all 3 games: BF1 forces you to buy a load of DLC not to be left out after 2 months when they start purposefully fragmenting their userbase. Activision has so little trust in Infinite Warfare that they have to bundle MW with it, which won't be sold seperate. And just like BF1, CoD will also make you spend an extra $50 or $60 to have a year's worth of fun and meanwhile you're just there for Modern Warfare. And although MW still feels nice, their creators have moved on and maybe it's time you do to?
Cause not only will this give you the best FPS this gen, it will save you a game's worth of cash as well because ALL EXTRA MAPS ARE FREE! No mapcycles you can't join or get kicked out of because you didn't feel like paying another $50 so soon after launch, you just get to play whatever maps they release without paying a single dime extra!
BF1's campaign is dang fine, and I'm positive CoD IW's will be too, but those won't go anywhere. If you join the greatest multiplayer FPS now, you'll be able to buy both BF1 and CoD for just the single player campaign in a few months from the money you saved by making the right call and buying TF2 now.
You have been asked several times to watch the language. We will see you again in 3 days -Tasuki-
@BLP_Software
I guess you missed the point of my comment. It was a reply to the PC elitist telling people on a PlayStation centric website they're PS fanboys and that the console they're really excited for actually sucks.
That sort of stuff just really ticks me off, although I know he's just a troll and I shouldn't take the bait. And it's not just people who are looking forward to playing the PS Pro or enjoy their vanilla PS4: I've been defending Xbox One owners since launch as well, because I can't stand people that are just commenting to tell others they've made the wrong decision, usually just to cover up their own insecurity about the purchase they themselves've made. The comments about the gtx960 were reflecting his own ludicrous statements bout the Pro and I hoped he would realize this after reading it. I myself game on every platform available, PC included, and they all have their own advantages, but I can totally imagine that being able to actually use the 4K TV you've just bought for just $399 is really exciting.
To Pro or not to Pro, that isn't the question; it's all about enjoying your hobby and being happy for others they're enjoying said hobby in their own way. Obviously PCs can be far superior spec wise, but there isn't such a thing as "the PC gamer"; if you own a gtx960 there is an awful lot of fun to be had, but 4K is totally out of reach. So if you so desire you could save up $1500- $2000 and build yourself a monster PC and play games in native 4K, or if you want to see what 4K is all about but don't have that kinda money lying around, you can go for a PS Pro and enjoy the 'FauxK' it has on offer.
Comparing a $1500 PC to a $399 console is complete nonsense, so you can expect people to comment in a way that reflects this.
Obviously a Mercedes is the superior car when compared to a Toyota, but both will get you from A to B in the end; it's up to you, and your wallet ultimately, if the extra bit of comfort is worth the extra 40k.
You have a lousy gtx960 yourself, so you'll never get to experience true 4K gaming unless you're willing to invest at least €1500... Do you even enjoy gaming like that, on a PC that can barely run a PowerPoint presentation? The 'P' in your PC doesn't stand for 'Personal', but for 'Peasant' it seems, cause I can't imagine that card running games any better than the base PS4 does... when the drivers are up- to- date that is.
You can come here and be a poepol by telling everyone how awesome PCs are, but when you're stuck with a gtx960 you might even wanna consider buying a Pro yourself; the real deal is clearly too expensive for you, but in the end you and your reliable 'Toyota' will be stuck in the same traffic on the A2 as the big and expensive 'Mercedes' you seem to admire so much.
@JaxonH
Sadly enough for these guys I don't think it'll be too long before it'll be up for grabs for $35- $40.... You could argue that we as consumers are the real winners then, but I beg too differ if that's the case in the long run; EA is in the money making business and when TF2 underperforms, we might never see part 3.
Titanfall 2 is probably the best FPS I ever played. This year I've fallen in love with Overwatch, a shooter where "old" guys like myself without the twitch skills of the younger lads can still play a major role in every game. The only thing is that you kinda have to play it as an MMO, always picking a support role and never being in the front line kicking @ss.
Respawn however has managed to create a game where I can play alongside and against faster and more skilled players and still feel like a FPS God dominating the battlefield. The single player bit is excellent, but usually that's where it ends for people like myself, but in Titanfall 2 the game just begins after finishing the campaign. The movement in this game is so fluid that CoD actually feels like it's stuttering and playing the Infinite War Beta had me actually annoyed because its traversal was far less fluid than in TF2. Playing TF2 is like the feeling you've had after playing Modern Warfare for the first time; everything that came before it -and lots that came even years after it- felt slow, dull and made you wanna break your controller.
For the love of Barker try this game! It's not just CoD with mechs, CoD feels like a cheap Chinese Titanfall knock-off withóut the incredibly satisfying mechs.
@kyleforrester87 I never threw one away and never will! I just can't for some reason. I have a wall in my mancave dedicated to just boxes which my wife calls 'the Mount- Everbox' and if she ever wants to get rid of them she'll have to pry 'em from my cold, dead hands
I wish the packaging would make the gamer feel more "special" and had somewhat of a "Pro look" to it. This looks exactly like the PS packaging as we know it and although it might sound ridiculous at first, giving the packaging a premium feel makes the consumer immediately feel good about the product when unboxing it; Apple products obviously come to mind, but Sony did an excellent job with PSVR as well!!
I expect a lot of current PS4 owners who already know what the packaging of the base unit is like to go for the upgrade, so for them to "feel" Pro and not just to "pay" pro would be smart.
They could still fix all of it, and then some, by adding free VR to the main game. Not some tacked on mini game, but the full game in VR. I still can't believe that Sony didn't put their best engineers and some millions behind it to make that work; NMS VR would not only redeem Hello Games instantly, it would be PSVR's Wii Sports.
@get2sammyb I honestly don't think Sean's the kinda bloke that can enjoy his millions knowing everyone and his mom pooped all over his brainchild.
I myself would look at NMS's message boards in my huge mansion laughing my ass off, just before taking the Lambo and driving off into the sunset, but I somehow don't think he's taking this very well... or he's the best damn actor in the world and deserves every penny for this elaborate scheme!
Everybody's Gone to the Crapture alright! This is so Sony of them, yet another walking sim... yaaaaaay! Oh, but wait... there's more!! The Deadly Tower of Monsters? Ha! The Deadly Tower of ConStars is a name that better suits this scam! Fortunately PSN is down most of the time so I don't have to look at these sorry excuses for freebies in the store all that much.
Where is Uncharted 4? Where is the new Tomb Raider? Tomb Raider belongs on a Sony console and it should be free! Step up your game Sony, you could've given us that artsy fartsy game you've been working on for so long now for free, the one that is practically Pete's Dragon but with crappy visuals.
Thank God for Activision and EA: with a healthy dose of CoD Inf.Warf. and FIFA 17 I should be okay this holiday season.
@tenderbeefcake
It's not so much about the money, it's how they want to make it. This isn't an EA problem, it's an industry wide phenomenon, but BF has been front and center with these nasty practices.
I am a firm believer of the fact that content is sold too cheap, but you can't just charge $60 extra to make up for it and giving 10% percent of the initial content in that DLC pack or gate content from the base game. People should have more possibilities, but unfortunately gamers are just as stubborn as publishers when it comes to these things.
Hitman really did an excellent job of selling a videogame in a way that benefits both consumers and the publisher, but they've gotten a ton of crap for it. Make people pay $20 for a decent chunk of content and ask another $20 for the same amount of value if they happen to like it.
EA could charge $30 for just the Battlefield 1 single player campaign and ask $30 - $40 for a multiplayer pass of season 1 so people know that they'll be able to find matches 3 months from now. Do a better job of explaining why the single player is $30, let gamers in on the cost of making a Hollywoodesque campaign and give a discount when people buy the entire package. Make another single player campaign in the year that follows and charge $20 for the additional content: it can be made cheaper because the team already had lots of assets available to them. Season 2 of the multiplayer should have a comparable amount of maps available so if gamers likes season 1 they can buy another season and know what they'll get. To make some extra money they can still have random lootcrates up for sale which are hugely popular, but make these things cosmetic. And again: explain why the lootcrates are there, so youngsters without the money to buy a full game with DLC know that others are indirectly "paying" for a chunk of their game. They don't want the single player, but will be able to buy just the MP for $30 and have everything they need till the next season begins, which doesn't have to be a full year; a 9 month cycle can work as well.
If they throw in an optional co-op horde mode for another $20 I'm absolutely positive EA will make just as much as they do know, if not more. But they'll also make sure that Battlefield 1 as a platform will be interesting to jump into for 2 - 3 years after launch because the pillars of the experience, in this case single player, multiplayer and horde mode won't have a fragmented user base. Add some minor DLC for free to keep players coming back for more and you don't have to rely on heavy discounts to attract players after the 3-4 months mark, which is so incredibly damaging for the underlying value of the product they're selling.
8/10 is a score I understand is being given to BF1, but I would have given it a 6/10, maybe 7/10 although I like the game an awful lot. The single player is exactly what I want out of a BF, but after sinking in quite some hours in multiplayer it's just too obvious EA is artificially handicapping their own product in order to make us spend money. I know it's been the same for over years, with BattleFront being the worst culprit, but I just can't give half a game a 9/10 like so many other outlets have done. It's like going on one of those "all- in" cruises where you end up paying $10 for every beer you drink because "all-in" somehow means "everything-you-really-like-is-excluded".
I'm sick of all the moneyhatting, of buying a $60 game which pretty much requires you to spend another $60 to enjoy it for more than 2 months. I know this is what the industry has come to, but after BF4 that was completely broken for a year and still charged us a game's worth of money for some mappacks, after Hardline that was nothing more than a re-skin -the likes of which we used to pay $10-$15 for in the BF Bad Company 2 days- and especially after Battlefront which was a cash grab we had no other option than to accept because Star Wars, I just hoped BF1 would treat us better. Sure, it's not broken and the single player is quite nice... but these shouldn't be USPs. Just charge me more money upfront for more content or chop the content up in pieces that better reflect what you're paying for. And instead of offering mappacks that will split the community, make some decent sized expansion packs that offer a bit more than just some maps that you clearly took out of the original game.
@wiiware
A console isn't underpowered when Nintendo is developing games for it; that means the power is just right . And because it also serves as a handheld, I gladly play it in native 720p upscaled on my TV if that means I can play it on the go.
OT: excited for RDR2, I hope we won't get any info till e3... too bad it's probably gonna be delayed cause they:

The Vita is such a wonderful device, especially for indies and classics!
I like my PS4, I LOVE my Vita.

I actually like it. A lot.

I see the Switch as the Vita 2 we're never gonna get with all of the wonderful Nintendo games thrown in as a bonus.
Re: Feature: How PS4 Can Fend Off the Nintendo Switch and Xbox Scorpio in 2017
We should all hope that the Switch performs well, cause the industry needs it.

Re: Grand Theft Auto V Has Sold an Astonishing 6 Million Units in the UK
It's all over now though... they need the BENZ!!
Re: Those Bad Ass Platinum PlayStation Cans Are Coming in January
I'd go for the Turtle Beach 520s, which is the improved version of the 500p. With their current price tag of €100 they're cheaper than this unit, and if the Gold headset is anything to go by they'll offer a far superior build quality. The quality of the mic is also way better than what the Gold headset offered and although 3D sound is really fun, you can't beat the easy accessible "superhuman hearing" option on the Turtle Beach headset.
@AFCC Have you considered the above mentioned headset? Amazon Germany sells them for €99.
Re: Dishonored 2 Price Slashed in Latest Christmas PSN Deal
Now I wonder if that Russian site that leaked the deals was right anyway, they're 3 out 3 at this point.
For people who wonder what else was on the list:
Rise of the Tomb Raider
Fallout 4
Dishonored II
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Special Edition
Battlefield 1
Uncharted 4
Titanfall 2
Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare
FIFA 17

Watch Dogs 2
Final Fantasy XV

Charlize Theron is one of my favorite actresses!
Re: PSX 2016: Nex Machina Is the New PS4 Game from the Makers of Resogun
This just reeks of old school bullet hell combined with the smooth and vibrant visuals Housemarque is known for. This announcement deserved more tbh and Sony should start buying this studio already, cause it's one of the best in the biz.
Re: PSX 2016: Windjammers Brings the Best Flying Disc Game to PS4, Vita
@Bliquid
Not a big Nintendo fan, are you?
Re: Talking Point: What Did You Think of Sony's PSX 2016 Presser?
Well done Sony!
Re: It's Buy One PS4 Game, Get One Free on the EU PlayStation Store This Month
@adf86
The Pro is kind of a mixed bag as of now, and even before these problems arose there were lots of questions left unanswered.
Re: It's Buy One PS4 Game, Get One Free on the EU PlayStation Store This Month
Re: Review: Titanfall 2 (PS4)
@GBMatthew

Re: Sony Preps Epic Publisher and Developer Lineup for PSX 2016

Re: Guide: The Best 4K UHD HDR TVs for PS4 Pro in 2016
@BAMozzy
The Wii U actually gives you a way to test input lag conveniently because it has an extremely responsive extra screen with its gamepad (for the tech that's used anyway).
Re: Guide: The Best 4K UHD HDR TVs for PS4 Pro in 2016
@BAMozzy
For our living room I went with OLED although I read the reviews that it was indeed inconsistent at best in general, but I honestly haven't seen huge input lag!
Re: Guide: The Best 4K UHD HDR TVs for PS4 Pro in 2016
@GBMatthew
"LG OLED has the best picture and colours however, it suffers from the highest input lag"
Re: Review: Titanfall 2 (PS4)
We will see you again in 3 days -Tasuki-
Re: Feature: How PS4 Pro Will Bring Bullshot Quality Visuals to Your Home
@BLP_Software
Re: Feature: How PS4 Pro Will Bring Bullshot Quality Visuals to Your Home
@SanderEvers
Re: UK Sales Charts: Titanfall 2 Fails to Make an Impact on PS4
@JaxonH
Sadly enough for these guys I don't think it'll be too long before it'll be up for grabs for $35- $40.... You could argue that we as consumers are the real winners then, but I beg too differ if that's the case in the long run; EA is in the money making business and when TF2 underperforms, we might never see part 3.
Re: UK Sales Charts: Titanfall 2 Fails to Make an Impact on PS4
Re: PS4 Pro Consoles Are Starting to Be Shipped to Stores

I'm actually thinking bout digging a hole in the backyard and putting a large shipping container in it, Colin Furze style.
Re: PS4 Pro Consoles Are Starting to Be Shipped to Stores
@kyleforrester87
I never threw one away and never will! I just can't for some reason. I have a wall in my mancave dedicated to just boxes which my wife calls 'the Mount- Everbox' and if she ever wants to get rid of them she'll have to pry 'em from my cold, dead hands
Re: PS4 Pro Consoles Are Starting to Be Shipped to Stores
I wish the packaging would make the gamer feel more "special" and had somewhat of a "Pro look" to it. This looks exactly like the PS packaging as we know it and although it might sound ridiculous at first, giving the packaging a premium feel makes the consumer immediately feel good about the product when unboxing it; Apple products obviously come to mind, but Sony did an excellent job with PSVR as well!!
I expect a lot of current PS4 owners who already know what the packaging of the base unit is like to go for the upgrade, so for them to "feel" Pro and not just to "pay" pro would be smart.
Re: Hello Games Tweets: 'No Man's Sky Was a Mistake'
@get2sammyb @Neolit
Re: Hello Games Tweets: 'No Man's Sky Was a Mistake'
@get2sammyb
I honestly don't think Sean's the kinda bloke that can enjoy his millions knowing everyone and his mom pooped all over his brainchild.
I myself would look at NMS's message boards in my huge mansion laughing my ass off, just before taking the Lambo and driving off into the sunset, but I somehow don't think he's taking this very well... or he's the best damn actor in the world and deserves every penny for this elaborate scheme!
Re: Sony's Turning to Third-Parties for an Elite PS4 Controller

Re: November's Free PlayStation Plus Games include Everybody's Gone to the Rapture on PS4
Re: Review: Battlefield 1 (PS4)
@tenderbeefcake
Re: Review: Battlefield 1 (PS4)
I'm old, I know...
