Resogun developer Housemarque unveiled its new project at Sony's PlayStation Experience conference today, and it looks appropriately stressful. Titled Nex Machina, the game appears to be a fast-paced top down shooter designed in conjunction with arcade classic Defender's dev Eugene Jarvis.
Not a whole lot was revealed about the game, but given the Finnish studio's pedigree, it's likely that we'll be spending countless hours hunting high scores with this one. Will you be giving Nex Machina a look? Let us know in the comments section below.

@Neolit I second that. Resogun is one of maybe 4 or 5 must plays on the PS4 system. Great game. This is now on my radar.
This just reeks of old school bullet hell combined with the smooth and vibrant visuals Housemarque is known for. This announcement deserved more tbh and Sony should start buying this studio already, cause it's one of the best in the biz.
Looks cool but what happened to Matterfall?
Yep, definitely want this. Didn't really get into Alienation but I generally love the Housemarque games.
