Re: Interview: Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin Devs Talk Inspiration, Difficulty Options, Chaos Memes, and More

@kyleforrester87 it's not just any spinoff it is the prequel to the 1st ff game and my opinion is it's not what the franchise needed or at least what I need atm. It definitely has a much larger budget than chocobo gp with team ninja working for them. Shadow the hedgehog was also a spinoff and that's still considered one of the weirdest games in history and only remembered for the memes.

Re: Microsoft Buys Call of Duty Publisher Activision Blizzard

Arisen

What!?? NO! Tencentsoft wants to burn bridges with PlayStation's partners. First bethesda and now this? Do you understand how vital call of duty is for playstation's success when it's been a top seller year after year. Microsoft has now monopolized the fps genre apart from battlefield when it's at its lowest point now. The fact that sony is losing the japanese market doesn't help either they need a strong plan asap.

Re: Talking Point: Do You Read All the Crap in Games?

Arisen

Only top tier games like the last of us or witcher. In witcher 3 I still remember the letter from past jacques de aldersberg who was the final boss of witcher 1 passing his final message to geralt about the wild hunt. That was epic.

Re: Online Pokémon Title Temtem Adds Trophies as Story Concludes

The game does enough to differentiate itself from pokemon. And it's just unfairly challenging at times so it requires you to plan out your team before going to a gym so I'd say it's for the hardcore fan of the genre who grew up playing pokemon and now finds it too easy and niche. Different doesn't mean better but the challenge is more satisfying.

I restarted ffxiv after a year so I have the 5.5 to finish and next week endwalker. Man it's hard to get back to an mmo I had to reset button layout, the hud, macros, find an fc and remember every move of my classes. I hope endwalker is worth it the only reason I will buy it is because its the end of the main story

Re: The Lord of the Rings: Gollum Confirmed for Appearance at The Game Awards

Arisen

What's the target audience of this game? Me and many other tolkien fans will never buy a game about Gollum. Shadow of games might have had great gameplay but the world was bleak and empty obviously because it's mordor so they should explore other regions from the legendarium. Beren and Luthien would make a great game adaptation because beren ventures a lot and is an actual warrior

I have godfall but never tried the endgame so if that means it will equip me with endgame ready armour I'm in. Also heard good things about mortal shell and almost bought it until the rumours of it being psplus. Great month for me

Re: CDPR Still Confident It Can Turn Cyberpunk 2077 Around

I beat this game back in December 2020. Some of the bugs actually added to the fun for me I remember one time I was casually driving around night city when suddenly my car flew and I saw the city from above. The level of detail is unlike any other open-world game and the story, side quests, characters, bosses were all great. You could choose how you wanted to play the game from watchdogs to shadow warrior to hardcore fps... I recommend the haters to actually PLAY THE GAME BEFORE HATING...

a local retailer f€cked up the price discounts and I managed to get 10 games for just 60€ before they restored them. Some of them are dragon quest XIS for 5€, watchdogs legion for 10€, total war warhammer 2 limited edition for 2€. I won't be playing any tho cause midterm exams :/

Re: Unsurprisingly, the GTA Trilogy Is Getting Review Bombed on PS5, PS4

@TheDudeElDuderino wtf is that answer?? You need to calm down and tell yourself why you felt the need to start an account on a gaming site. We are here to socialise about GAMING. I'm not a psychologist and I'm not here to criticise you. I only asked if you knew what the definition of review bombing is and you took it personally! I even tried to be as nice to you as possible. Don't bother to reply I'm not here to waste time on personal issues. I'm here for GAMING.

Re: Unsurprisingly, the GTA Trilogy Is Getting Review Bombed on PS5, PS4

@TheDudeElDuderino I got the memo bro you are not fooling anyone. You are not as smart as you think and instead of answering you go name calling you lowlife. Do you know the definition of insanity or should I write that down for ya too? You blamed the site of using "review bombing" when it's a legitimate term to use on this half assed remaster not because they don't like it but the Internet does not like it.

Re: Unsurprisingly, the GTA Trilogy Is Getting Review Bombed on PS5, PS4

Arisen

@TheDudeElDuderino A review bomb is an Internet phenomenon where a large number of people—or in rarer cases, a few people with multiple accounts—leave negative user reviews online. ... Review bombing is a similar practice to and shares characteristics of vote brigading and cancel culture. Its just a quick Google search dude.

I bought a switch and a dozen exclusives and while it's nostalgic to play the franchises that made me a gamer (metroid, mario, pokemon, zelda) nintendo has a real issue with revolutionizing its brands towards the future with the only exception being zelda. Nintendo Gameplay is great (except xenoblade and pokemon lets go seriously wtf happened to pokemon) but PlayStation has spoiled me to see games are more than just gameplay. Playstation is the king of console gaming currently
