After 2 years, if that leaked list is accurate (its not) , the show would be pretty dissapointing.

Sony will need to do alot better than that fake list for the showcase to be a sucess after the long silence

I don’t believe that a Ghost of Tsushima sequel would adopt a different name. Marketing executives would probably shout obscenities if this was attempted.

Funny how on r/gamingleaksandrumours, Disney Domination (fake Disney smash-like) was just blurry AI images with poor grammar implying Peter Griffin was gonna fight Thanos.

If that were to be the actual announcements, aside from Ghost of Tsushima 2 and maybe Twisted Metal, it's severely disappointing.

I doubt the last of us mp game will be named factions , so that should easily tell you it’s fake

Firewalk working on a Killzone? I thought they meant "new IP" when they said "original" AAA multiplayer. That don't sound right neither to me.

Not a bad list if it was true, which i am sure it’s not. I would love to see Half life hit PSVR2, not sure that it will. But that would make me buy one, beat the game and return it as i have very little use for VR. I wish Sly Cooper was getting a game but i am sure that is low on the list of things Sony is looking to do. I really just want to know as much as possible about Last of Us Multiplayer and anything else is a bonus.

@Vacuumator It wouldn't make sense to still have the Tsushima name though. The sequel will most likely take place somewhere else. Either in mainland Japan or another island, maybe it might be "Ghost of Okinawa". Who knows.

Such great fake leaks. I mean MK having Kratos aka like they did with a PS3 entry sure..... Killzone I doubt it. DS2 I mean I think it's clear or it's something else when ready to have the full name, subtitle whatever. Interesting Astro title would be cool if it had that.

I mean sure you get references in their games but old IPs really being revived I'd doubt it, My expectation of any past IPs is low. But people can keep having fun fake leaks they are always fun to read.

I agree, I’m just wondering whether from a name change is a good idea from a marketing/brand recognition perspective.

I’d prefer a new name also, but going with 2 or a subtitle is sadly safer.

I’m trying to think of notable examples of sequels where the name of the game changes, rather than being given a number or a subtitle. Are there any prominent ones?

@Vacuumator "Ghost..." is kinda the main name when you think about it. In the game Jin is referred as the "Ghost" all the time. So there's part of the name still there. "Horizon Zero Dawn" to "Horizon Forbidden West" might be a recent example of the name being altered for the sequel. Remember when Forbidden West wasn't announced yet, a lot of people called it "Horizon Zero Dawn 2"? I knew they had to change the name a bit because keeping the "Zero Dawn" part wouldn't make sense.
