4/10 sounds generous.

Sadly it’s a dead franchise. The reboot was really terrible. Maybe it will come back at some point but maybe the games were of their time.

I said this years’ ago and the narrative was F the UK CMA and FTC.
I wasn’t against the merger per se as I felt Xbox needed something extra to compete with PlayStation but I wanted to see due diligence by the authorities.
What we got was Microsoft being bullies and many people cheering it on for their cheap Game Pass sub.
Lots of people have lost their jobs, games have been cancelled and Game Pass is apparently now Xbox $360. With ads.

@OmegaStriver 100%. Getting the odd £5 voucher on Stars was a really nice perk of buying expensive games. Sony are just greedy. Even Microsoft are still doing rewards.

FH5 is a generational game imo.

@themightyant whilst I think ‘live service’ is mostly garbage it also appears to include DLC/additional content for the likes of Gran Turismo, etc. I’m very happy with quality single player game add-on content. I guess it’s a large umbrella term.

The video looks positive so we will see! 25 was OK until all the patches took away heading a goal being a thing. I like how they have directly taken on complaints and wants in the video. Pretty cool.

I do miss PES but that franchise is so dead. Such a shame.

I will likely still get FC 26 as my son loves it too. TBF the teams, leagues and general presentation is unmatched.

I’ve had a good read of Game Spot and others on Metacritic. I wouldn’t personally describe THPS 4 as ‘butchered’ but certainly changed and very different from what they are saying. I’ve never played any Tony Hawk games until the 2020 remake so it does not matter to me but does sound like a missed opportunity and can see why some would be unhappy. That being said all the reviews I’ve seen are overwhelmingly positive and 100% an arcade antidote to the GAAS garbage of 2025.
Cdkeys doing £40 PSN voucher for £35 so this is already pre-installed ready for release. Cannot wait.

@Oz_Who_Dat_Dare yeah they won’t. This was the problem with the huge acquisition that 90% of people applauded on Pure. It’s led to ruin.

Really sad for the employees and the brand. FM7 on PC is still fantastic but newest one wasn’t great.
Hard to defend Microsoft at the minute. The Xbox brand has been garbaged with core pillar IP being jettisoned along with peoples’ jobs. Genuinely disgusting.
Game Pass and the huge acquisition have been a disaster and I warned that it might be.
Microsoft should just go full software at this point, axe hardware and GP and make the studios they have left profitable (or more profitable!)

I have liked the Campaigns in the last several games but the MP has become a joke with irrelevant skins. Nicki Minaj (I think) in the WW2 one was a low. Franchise is becoming garbage and I have no interest in the next one. Hopefully Battlefield will be back.

I’m really not interested in this COD. Seems to me they are using the branding Black Ops as it is successful? Looks like Inifinity Warfare? Wasn’t that a thing with Kevin Spacey? I won’t buy it this year so saves me money.

I would say $30 cheaper than the S with Black Ops 6 is going for the throat but Xbox hardware is already dead.
