Me and my +15 Claymore are almost ready to hit the DLC areas of Dark Souls 1. Might begin Spidey 2 as well since I’ll be going over to that after finishing DS1. Enjoy the weekend everyone.
Thinking Spidey 2 hits 50% off so will probably grab that. Some even older titles I know I’ll get at a big discount. Guessing MGS Delta will be about 25-30% off so might hold off on that. Considering Wuchang as well depending on how deeply discounted it is.
Also back to tracking down the Yotei six after taking a detour to play through Bloodborne and The Old Hunter’s dlc. I was surprised to see Orphan of Kos so high on FromSoft boss difficulty lists, it really didn’t trouble all that much and I’m far from gud at these games. Will likely finish Yotei soon and then probably on to Dark Souls Remastered or MGS Delta. Enjoy the weekend everyone.
About 40+ hours into Yotei and finally starting to take down some of the Six. Mixing it up with some Bloodborne which I’m using fightincowboy walkthrough for. Feel like I would get lost in BB way more than other FromSoft games without a guide. Enjoy the weekend everyone.
Yotei for me as well this weekend, been loving it so far. Only other release left this calendar year I’m really excited for is Ninja Gaiden 4 so definitely taking my time and basking in Yotei.
getting close to the end of the new shinobi which has been great. will mix in some eafc26, trip to the cinema, and watching football. madrid derby and milan v napoli. enjoy the weekend everyone.
Originally planned on picking up MGS Delta and Gears but I’m going to wait on decent sales for both. Started Shinobi yesterday, excited to play through it after really enjoying the demo. This will keep me busy until Ghost of Yotei.
@JonnyAces Go for it. As a completely offline player I always have fun with it any year I buy it, the hardcore fanbase will bellyache no matter what so I tend to ignore the “discourse.”
Taking my time with Death Stranding 2 and really enjoying it. Finally picked up Returnal in the current sale but probably will hold off until I finish Death Stranding. Matchups in the Club World Cup today actually look decent (on paper) so will try to tune in for some of that as well.
Finished Lies of P Overture dlc already which was amazing. It’s nice to have a game in that genre that actually has a story I am invested in. I’ll likely dive into Nobody Wants to Die and the Tomb Raider 1-3 collection. Enjoy the weekend everyone.
Glad I was right about the Lies of P DLC dropping at Summer Games Fest. I’ll polish off Lords of the Fallen then dive into that. Enjoy the weekend everyone.
Playing Lords of the Fallen after picking it up a few sales ago. Definitely solid but hoping Lies of P DLC is a Summer Gamesfest shadowdrop that I immediately jump over to.
Finished Lies of P so I will fully dive into Clair Obscur after only progressing past the prologue. Hope the LoP DLC is out soon and that “Summer” doesn’t mean late August so I can play through while I’m off work. Maybe a Summer Games Fest shadow drop 🧐 Have a great weekend everyone!
Almost through Chapter 8 of Lies of P which I picked up after beating Khazan. Running a tech build but switched from a dagger to the booster glaive with bonecutting saw and having a blast. Will set aside a couple hours to start Clair Obscur, had my eye on it for a while so glad it turned out well. Have a great weekend everyone.
Playing and loving First Berserker. Obviously reviews are subjective but I think PushSquare really dropped the ball on that review. Still slowly playing story missions in Red Dead 2 as well. Enjoy the weekend everyone!
Bummed this didn’t score higher here like it did elsewhere but I really liked the demo and will still preorder later tonight. Every review I’ve read has highly praised the combat and this also has a lot of cool quality of life improvements others in this genre lack like being able to refight bosses and having access to a training area to test combos.
Finished both DS3 DLCs so back to RDR2. Although I must be a glutton for punishment because also playing and really enjoying the First Berserker Khazan demo. Grabbed Split Fiction to hopefully play with a friend but will settle for random person on internet if I have to. Unfortunately my wife’s gaming skills just aren’t there for us to play together.
Like Aaron I am trudging along in DS3 which is the best way to describe playing Ringed City. Proud of myself for getting this far but man this dlc just isn’t much fun to me. Will try to jump back into RDR2 as well. Enjoy the weekend everyone.
RDR2 - Fully upgraded my satchel, hunted lots of legendary animals, and have found a good chunk of elixirs so I’ll start slowly wrapping up missions of Act 2. Finished the game when originally released but been amazing playing on ps5 & a nicer tv/speaker setup.
Dark Souls 3 - Avoided these games until falling in love with Elden Ring. Already beat Demon’s Souls so grabbed DS3 on sale the other day. Still haven’t “got gud” (ugh) at these but enjoying DS3 so far despite finding it to be the hardest FromSoft game I’ve played so far.
Hoping for an Eagles super bowl win on Sunday. Enjoy the weekend everyone.
Just finished LAD: Infinite Wealth. Bought Stellar Blade a sale or two ago so will start that tonight and possibly also pick up Tekken 8 at half off. Happy Holidays everyone!
Have to agree with everyone, VERY underwhelming. I’ll still grab Stellar Blade since I already waited this long but I’ll hold out for a deeper discount on some other 2024 releases. Bummer.
Grabbed Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth for 50% off in the most recent sale so checking that out. Slow start but confident it will sink its teeth in. Taking a break to watch El Clasico, have a nice weekend everyone!
Will preorder Astro today and buy EA FC during Black Friday sale. Epic Mickey will also be one I’ll pick up when the price drops. Slightly intrigued by Dragon Age as well.
Going forward I would love to have AI used to make commentary more dynamic and linked to actual events and outcomes in franchise modes of sports sims. If you can feed AI information and have it write scripts I don’t see why this couldn’t be feasible.
Nothing for me unfortunately. Was holding out hope for maybe 25% off Stellar Blade, oh well. Prince of Persia not back on sale either and WWE is only the Deluxe Edition. Hope others can find something interesting.
@ThorsHammer People ignored the new leveling system and freaked out that their meta builds didn’t allow them to breeze through everything. Like most online outrage it wasn’t tethered to reality.
Finished Shadow of the Erdtree and went back into base game to get another ending (Elden Beast still sucks btw) for my first and probably only platinum, generally don’t care about those trophies at all but figured what the hell it was so close. Will dive back in to Robocop then hope Prince of Persia or Stellar Blade get discounted soon. Have a great weekend everyone.
Finally beat the last story boss in the Elden Ring DLC last night after about 3-4 hours of attempts. Had to respec multiple times which I don’t love honestly, to me any type of build should be viable especially since Larval Tears are relatively limited. Was not as disappointed in this final boss as I was in the Elden Beast but I agree that it’s second phase felt more unfair than difficult. Will watch the Euros during the day and probably jump back into Robocop which I grabbed recently when it was 50% off. Hoping Stellar Blade gets a little discount soon as I would like to play that before some Fall releases I’m looking forward to.
Not really worth it IMO. Rising Tide was good but expected a longer expansion especially considering it was billed as the more substantial of the two. Leviathan fight was fantastic but the less said about that DPS check the better, ugh!
In regard to Remote Play I know Portals are tough to come by but I’ve been having a blast running it on my iPad. Works terrifically even with a game like FF16 where the screen can get quite busy during combat.
Will hopefully be in good shape by Summer so I can pick it up on a big discount to play while I’m away from work. Beyond that and DLC for a 2+ year old game man as has been stated many other places, 2024 is looking grim for gaming.
Finished FF16 last night after completing the hunt board still didn’t get me to Level 50 I decided to wrap things up. Enjoyed the ending but overall the highs of the game while high were too few and far between for me to place in that top tier.
Like others I’ll be starting Jedi Survivor which I’m really excited for. Liked but didn’t love the original so I’m glad to hear this apparently improves on many of the weak points.
Football on the TV all day tomorrow. David Moyes Derby, Arsenal v Liverpool, Madrid Derby, and the big Juve v Inter match in Serie A.
Have a great weekend everyone 😊
Jedi Survivor for sure. Possibly Last of Us Part 1 since I think it might be a while before that sees a deeper discount. Eventually want to grab Red Dead 1 but feel like that will be 50% off by Summer which is realistically when I’d get around to it anyway.
@Daleaf are you playing on the easiest setting? bg3 was the first game of this genre ive played and on explorer setting it wasnt too much of a struggle until some late game battles.
bg3 was great but re4 remake is my goty. as soon as i finished it i couldnt wait to go right back in.
A few hours into FF16, enjoying it so far. Other than FF7 Remake this is my first FF game. Wish the combat was less button mashy but looks great and story is intriguing. Also want to dive into GOW DLC a bit. These two will likely keep me busy over the holidays.
Literally just finished BG3. My first time with a game like this and overall I really enjoyed but I will say as it got close to the finale I just wanted to be done with it. Will play some EA FC and Mario Wonder as palate cleanser. RIP Sir Bobby, sad news few hours before kickoff.

An easy 9 for me, this is what AAA gaming should look and feel like.

@AldusRavencorn Good call, that’s a bummer. Oh well, I’ll wait until Black Friday like normal and more than get my money’s worth.
Re: EA Sports FC 26's First PS5, PS4 Trailer Is an Ode to the Haters
I do every other year with Fifa/FC so quite looking forward to this especially come May/June when the World Cup mode drops.

Re: Death Stranding 2's PS5 Story Could Take a Monstrous 75 Hours to Beat
Draw back for me. Enjoyed the first but longer isn’t always better, like others I tend to just want it to be over after the 55-60 hour mark.

Enjoying taking my time with Jedi Survivor and playing on an easier difficulty. Next on the backlog is Dead Space remake.

of the Ronin. Not familiar with devs previous games, is Ronin likely to have difficulty settings??
