Finally caved and bought Elden Ring. Have never played a Souls game before so I was very apprehensive. Went with a mage build and am enjoying the game so far, but it is somewhat annoying that I felt the need to turn to YouTube so frequently for guidance as it hurts the sense of discovery and exploration but without it I’d be completely screwed so bit of a rock and a hard place situation there. Only about 8-10 hours in so the hope is that once I level up a bit and get some decent gear I’ll be able to truly wonder about the game more freely.

Stubbornly holding out hope for PS5 upgrade but would love a replay of RDR2.

Finished Cyberpunk last weekend so started Mafia Remaster and it’s not catching me. Never done a New Game + before but might finally dive into it with Ghost of Tsushima since that is my fave open world I’ve ever played.

Also slowly playing through Shredder’s Revenge which is a lot of fun. Want to pace myself so I don’t get burnt out on it too quick.

Just finished Hitman 3 which was of course excellent. Might have a go at attempting the 60 minute endurance race missions on GT7 as I’ve completed cafe menus and all circuit experiences sans the rally car ones which I just simply find zero enjoyment in.

Hoping United youngster Jimmy Garner can help Forest in the promotion playoffs and that Liverpool end the season with just the League Cup. Most excited for the Serie A doubleheader tomorrow with Milan and Inter in action back to back. Have a great weekend everyone.

For people on fence about FIFA 22 turn game speed on slow, find some realism sliders online, and enjoy because its the best version in years.

Hopefully this update somehow makes Moby Dick Mission 7 “Overtaking in a mixed class race” doable for me damn thing is driving me nuts. Had an easier time passing S10 license finale.

@LittleToyTitan I know I can’t get gold on the licenses so settling for all bronze. Absolutely despise the rally car dirt tire stuff was so happy to be rid of it when I passed the Super License S5. Good luck!

Finished the final GT7 menu book with a first place finish yesterday. First ever GT game for me so pleased with that. Going to continue with the brilliant Pyschonauts 2 and finally start Hitman 3. Excited for Inter v Juve and probably pop on a bit of Wrestlemania for old time sakes. Have a great weekend everyone.

Server issue is very frustrating. Think people are overreacting a bit about the micro transactions. You don’t NEED to spend extra money to play, finish, or enjoy the game. Sure grinding to get in game $$$ for a Plat is harder now but what percentage of people playing the game does that apply to? I’d guess not many.

Count me as another racing sim newbie who is absolutely loving GT7. Going to try to finish my licenses tonight. Just finished main story in Arkham Knight which was actually really disappointing. Been years since I’ve played Asylum/City so thought I’d be up for more but just did nothing for me especially with all the tank stuff. Will start Cyberpunk and/or Pyschonauts 2 to occupy game time in between racing around in GT7.

@weR1youR2Podcast yeah i very rarely give up on games but good to know judging from your comment (might be misreading) that i won’t miss out on much by sticking strictly to main missions!

On Episode 3 in Death Stranding Director’s Cut. First time playing it and really enjoying it thus far. Reading that it is a 40-50 hour play through is a bit disappointing as I feel I may tire of it by that point. Will also get in some Fifa 22 Career Mode, with Operation Sports realism sliders this is a fantastic sports sim this year. Having fun playing using Erik ten Hag tactical setup I found on Youtube, dominating possession (70/30) and not allowing single shot on target vs West Ham felt very satisfying haha. Hitman 3 Seven Deadly Sins is 40% off (in US) so grabbing that and finally biting on Disco. More than happy since still have somewhat of a backlog.

Finishing final main story missions in AC:Origins. Didn’t enjoy it as much as Odyssey, story never really grabbed me until it was nearly done. After playing Ghosts of Tsushima I think Origins was always bound to disappoint. Excited to start Jedi Fallen Order and Sackboy which I picked up on sale. Xavi’s first game at the helm (Barca Derby as well) and Inter v Napoli also on the agenda. Have a great weekend everyone.

Would love to see Streets of Rage 4. As an aside I hope we get Shredders Revenge coming out in Q1 2022.

Thinking Sackboy and Death Stranding Director’s Cut are sure buys for me. RE Village and Pyschonauts 2 will probably depend on how deep the discount is.
