I have both a Ps5 pro and a PC. I barely use my PS5 pro these days as everything looks and feels so much better on PC. Literally the only reason I would consider buying another playstation would be if there was the guarantee Sony games weren't eventually going to come to PC. Otherwise, there's no reason to have a Sony device if you have a PC already.

Not massively clued up on the difference myself, I just fire it up and play random multiplayer mostly. All of them are fun and I die quickly in all of them too.

I have the base game and really want to like it, but it just hasn't clicked for me. Everytime I fire it up I bounce off it again.

Why would you want to play anything with reduced power? If you can afford a PS pro, I'm guessing you can probably afford electricity.

@Titntin It's not stupid at all from my perspective. I'm just saying that I don't get the same buzz from console gaming, even with brand new games - that aren't available anywhere else. Purely stating I'll probably be financially smarter and opt out of the console game in the future.

Doubt I'll bother with another playstation to be honest. Can't be mithered with discs these days and the Playstation store is such a rip-off. Also, I find that console tech during the generation starts to show its age, even after a mid-cycle refresh. I've got both Yotei and Death Stranding 2 on the pro and both of those look like last gen games compared to what my 5070ti can produce.

Disappointed with the 30fps cutscenes mainly. Totally ruins the immersion for me. Feels like I'm back to playing a game from the ps2 area. Don't understand why on a second gen PS5 I'm still forced to suffer thirty frames on anything. They could have put the effort to make the cutscenes smoother, considering what a big part they play in the story.

The worst COD campaign for me, played the vast majority. No wonder they're offering it out.

So this makes them just expensive, instead of very expensive...

Still playing Stranded 2 at the minute, looking forward to Yotei though, reckon I'll splurge on it around Christmas time and make it my festive game.

If you're a hardcore gamer and like the absolute best performance then it has been worth it. Might be issues with the odd game, but the majority of games run better/
look sharper and that was the whole point of the thing. This will continue to blossom into 2026 as well.

I always fall for it with Resident evil games. They look stunning, the characters look amazing, so I buy it for full price - play it for an hour, get stuck and then don't play it again. Looking forward to the same when this comes out anyway.

Wanted to give it more than seven, but it really does run like dirt.

I do feel a bit left out with regards to these types of games. I know with no option to reduce the difficulty my controller will be wallpapering the wall within twenty minutes. Anything that would make them slightly more accessible to the impatient would be greatly appreciated.

Don't care if it's set in Wythenshawe. I'm in for every incarnation of Forza Horizon.

One of those games where I feel like playing a bit of it every few months and then get tired again. Will re-download and have a mess around with the new update anyway.

Really don't understand most of the mediocre reviews. Was pleasantly surprised when I eventually took the plunge. No it's not an open world bulging with things to go after, but I didn't want another one of those.

Bit disappointing. Will wait for a sale then.

All the Mafia games were clunky and had bugs, never stopped me enjoying them. It'll likely be more of the same and I'm okay with that.

If it's even half as good as Mafia 1, I'm excited. One of the most underrated games in recent times.

It's a strange comparison. I wouldn't ever have thought of Mafia associated with Uncharted.

Started it yesterday on PC had no idea it was Charlie Cox's voice. Definitely made me even more intrigued to get into it 😀

Was on the fence, but with the reviews I'm reading probably get it next when I've finished my pro infused GOW Ragnarok play through. Looks amazing.

I'll be disappointed if it's purely an upgrade to 60fps in RDR2 with a few shineys, he's getting all hot under the collar about. From the amount of fuss, I'm hoping it's something new in the series.

Guess Sony are hoping people with access to both will double dip. When you get the PC version a year or so later, it does tend to feel a bit like a remaster, I know I'm always tempted to do that if I have the spare cash.

@Simu001 Glad to hear somebody else got fed up at that point too. I was playing on easy and the checkpoint was so unfair on that level, I just plain gave up. Put me off COD to be honest.

When the video started I actually thought it was an advert before the proper game footage started, it looked so real. Wow.

The episode with Joel and Ellie at the museum aside, I thought the series as a whole was a massive disappointment. Really don't feel like they've captured the feeling with the story accurately or made it believable. The final episode was awful and it's made me question whether I'll bother with series 3 at all, which I would have never thought after the first series.

Don't remember anyone getting fingered in the game. Think this series has been a poor re-enactment so far.

The difficulty curve and settings are the things that will be of most interest to me. I've no doubt I'll love the gameplay, as I did with the first two, but I didn't ever finish either due to becoming frustrated. Even on the easiest setting I found them both to be a bit overwhelming as I progressed. Hoping for a slightly less hectic easy mode this time.

Some of the stiffs on here pouring scorn on rocksteady for one bad game. They've nailed most of their previous stuff, wouldn't be writing them off, I'd have my money on any new Batman game being a return to form.

I fall into the same trap every time an Assassin's game is released. I remember how I get urked by the enemies you have no chance of beating, unless you grind levels for an extra twenty hours - then I still buy it anyway. Gonna play it on story mode I think.

Have to say, I'm starting to get frustrated with the lack of 120 FPS options on the pro. This is a four year old game, it must surely be possible with a bit of half decent optimisation.

@Boxmonkey People keep saying that to justify not buying it. It is needed if you don't want to play upcoming games at 30 frames.

I'm always in two minds about RPG's. On one hand I would love nothing more than to get obsessed and throw a hundred hours into something, on the other that remains problematic for me.
With the small bites of time I have to play these days that sort of dedication would take me months if not years to accomplish. Plus there's my scatty mind that's always tempted to play the latest shiniest games. I am determined to overcome these obstacles however, and who knows, maybe it'll be Kingdom come that finally breaks the boundaries of entry to a massive RPG.

Currently immersed in three titles, so no room for this at the minute, but it's definitely the next cab off the rank as it stands currently. Looks superb.

@Oz_Who_Dat_Dare Fair comment, all the fanfare about the PS5 pro was regarding the 45%'ish lift in gpu power. Sony knew what they were doing with regards to the CPU. It's going to be a definite bottleneck at some point over the next few years.

It'll be a massive disappointment if it doesn't run at 60 on the Pro, at least. I don't subscribe to the 'RDR2 30 fps to this day' argument either. In 2025 with current gen tech, 60 fps must be possible, even if it's a slightly lower res than other titles. If not then you surely have to question the point in buying consoles in the future. May aswell just stick to PC.

Bought the first one day one and played to completion, probably one of my favourite games of recent times. Or what I thought was recent times, can't believe it was ten years ago.

For me there will always be room for both. I like to have access to Playstation exclusives day one and like the ease of use and accessibility of consoles. But, there's something magical about PC gaming and I would always buy on PC if a game is multiplatform.

I'd rather buy a game for a price, not like it but still have it in my collection, rather than paying for multiple subscriptions to have access to something.
