@get2sammyb the whole xbox situation is just weird and contradicting itself.

the marketing of the series x almost tells a different story than what you read in phil's interviews. having the most powerfull console only to be limited by curren gen? why even bother marketing the series x that way if you are going to compromise that vision for gamepass. it's a dissapointment waiting to happen. not only will the visual difference between series x and ps5 be less of an impact that MS want you to believe,but hampering the difference even more by limiting your exclusives is just giving sony the upper hand in the next gen exclusive game yet again,which is why MS was so lacking sales wise this gen to begin with.

not having next gen exclusives at the start is also counter to what next gen consoles sell for. unless you want to sell them years after release creating yet another gap behind sony.

having the most powerfull console will only get you so far. what's the point if that power won't be fully used untill a couple of years after the console released. meanwhile at the start of the next gen ps5 exclusives will look and perform better than xbox exclusives,because they won't be limited by old gen hardware giving the impression that the ps5 is more powerfull to the average gamer. not something you want to do if your entire campaign is about having the most powerfull console with the most TF is it phil?

yeah sony has done stealthy news drops before,but a price and pre order announcement seems way to big for it to be a stealth drop.

an announcement of the sort at the end of a state of play is more likely indeed.

i've always been an AC fan and the franshise has a place in my heart so my choice goes to valhalla.

and while cyberpunk is a huge release AC games are aswell so i would not wory about the sales yet. it's to early to tell.

i was gonna see how close valhalla releases compared to the ps5 to decide on what gen to get it on,but it seems valhalla might be 1of my first ps5 games if this is true.

yeah sony is going to announce some more big games not so long after the xbox event to overshadow it.

i know the story is not for everyone,but this game should be GOTY just for it's technical achievements alone.

i wonder if this will be the showcase for the game during forward,but obviously more polished.

4/20. never played it,the only thing i know about the game is that there is a "fan theory" that squall is dead.

i realy liked greedfall so i'm down for another RPG by them.

the 1 thing i can make out from the picture is some sort of armor set,but the collar is interesting. perhaps it indicates another historical setting with a fantasy flair?

i think this is the first time i have seen a game delayed because of poor receptions to leaks.

i know it's not the game anyone wants from square Enix but i would dig a new tomb raider for ps5.

this game is on my radar.

While there is still no release date it seems that they are tinkering with more accessabillity to this game which is always a good thing.

i'm fine with fair critism,just don't make up lies like sony bought reviews or sony limited the stock of the game so it seems to sell well etc. that is just being spitefull.

if you don't like the story fine,but don't insult the devs,don't make pointless petitions,and for the love god don't use "agenda" as a "reason " to dislike the game.

personally i like the current formula.

but on the other hand i would not realy have a problem with full priced 15 hour games since i got into the exclusive love with uncharted wich for the most part can be beaten in less than that. however i don't think that 12 hour AAA exclusives are gonna cut it anymore. atleast not from the big sony studios.

anyway seems like ps4 goes out with a bang (not that there was any doubt considering the scope of it's last 2 major exclusives.)

funny that they will use these false scores as "proof" that the game failed. let's just ignore the record sales and raving reviews from actuall reviewers.

let's all keep in mind that the people doing it are doing so because of racist and sexist reasons.

it's a game i plan on getting for ps5 because i think the ps4 will struggle to run it without severe downgrades.

tbh sony just showed us last week that atleast they don't need e3 anymore. the ps5 reveal has more views than the ps4 e3 reveal,and more views than any of their e3 shows or any other publisher's.

plus their new state of play format focusing on 1 game is also a new hit for them.

so when it comes to sony,no i don't miss their e3 shows,altough they where awesome.

also doing it like this means that the hours the show takes place on are way more managable for us european folk so yeah. i could never watch a live sony e3 show but so far was always able to watch their livestreams.

tbh i will always consider e3 2016 as sony best conference.

2015 was great but 2016 was even better imo. it just appealed to me more

a very classy opening with the live orchestra,followed by 2018's GOTY as the first game reveal,hideo kojima making his comback on playstation after his much discussed departure from konami,the reveal of arguably the best superhero game of
the last decade. yeah that show did it for me.

i think i'll pass on this one. i only use my console to play games these days. and if i would watch a movie i just the controller to navigate through the menus.

anyone else having trouble pre downloading? it's been available all day long but whenever i click on download it just loads and than refreshes the page.

so again the coop rumors where false? because nothing seemed to indicate coop to me. (better be SP only)

2.the order 1886 sequel (SP only)

i mean this means nothing. this is just a pc gamer who saw the rumor and ran with it because he wants bloodborne on pc. and ofcourse those people would use that video as "proof" to make their claimes more believable.

this could be more believable if bluepoint was not making another game which according to them is their biggest project yet,i don't think they would be able to work on 2 projects at the same time because of this especially if both of the games are supposed to release soon.

and no i'm not hating on an exclusive coming to pc,just trying to make some sense out of it.

I believe him since multible people with a review copy said that Some "leaks" are false. That includes a 4chan leak and a bunch of other WRITTEN "leaks"

the cutscenes are real ofcourse but the text that Goes with them can be made up by people trying to put them in a wrong context.

realy loving the revived positivity for this game.

seems that the state of play and latest previews helped clear people's minds and open their eyes to not listen to toxic youtubers.

@Octane ubisoft still does CGI trailers for AC,also sony does CGI trailers for their big exclusives every now and than.

even the standard edition was sold out for a while yesterday on amazon US. seems that sony was not lying about the sales.

this should dampen the concerns that the game might have been delayed again due to the riots.

it would have been a logistical nightmare to delay it anyway now that it has gone gold for a while now,and review copies having been send out etc,regardless of the current times.

just a heads up that THE COLLECTORS AND SPECIAL versions of the game are sold out on amazon US.

@DonJorginho i can't realy comment on that exept that i think it is to late for another delay no matter if it's right or not.

i hope things settle down by than but without the problem at hand being swept under the rug like it always does ofcourse.

i mean you guys already know what i'm getting if you saw my posts over the last couple of weeks.
