Continuing the trend of cult hit survival games migrating from PC to PS4, Stranded Deep is making the journey on 9th October. You can get a feel for it in the above trailer.
Like many games of the same mould, you'll be hunting and gathering in a bid to survive -- this time, in the middle of the sea on a series of deserted islands. After a plane crash has left you, er, stranded, you'll need to feed and water yourself, craft weapons and items, build shelter, and explore the environments in order to stay alive.
It looks like it could be pretty engrossing, but it's hard to shake the feeling that these survival games are beginning to outstay their welcome. What do you think of Stranded Deep? Do you enjoy these games, or are you bored to tears of seeing them? Build a raft and paddle into the comments below.

Markiplier made this game look pretty dope. I always figured it would come to consoles sooner or later.
Should have held out for PSVR.
The graphics reminded me of this arcade game I saw in Dave & Busters yesterday, which I was thinking also should be on PSVR.
I've had this since 2015 on Steam. I've played 50 minutes.
Looks really good! Hopefully its menus etc are not too convoluted and it controls smoothly
The game is just ok but survival games are always better when you have a group of players working together. This has no multi-player element.

Today is the 9th of October but I can't seem to find stranded deep in the psn store when can we buy it?
