Glad I've waited (the whole having less time to game helps too). I'll get the enhanced version if Final Fantasy XV doesn't come to NX.

Gotta wonder what a PS 4.5 will be compatible with and what it won't be. At least unlike Nintendo, Sony understands the concept of cross buy.

And to everyone complaining about this, I know 75% of you will buy the enhanced version in the end. I know I complained about having to get a new 3DS, but once I saw the faster loading times and a special edition for Monster Hunter, I caved. You will too.

These companies really just don't want you to buy systems day 1, cause something better will come up sooner rather than later.

Anyone who preorders anything form Ubisoft deserves whats coming to them.

Playstation on top of Nintendo in both hardware and software in the homeland. Nintendo has to be panicking behind close doors right now.

The last couple of years, almost all games had been announced/spoiled before E3 even began. E3 is still a big deal (for now), but nowhere near the importance in the past. Much more so for demoing games you heard about, rather than learn about games you didn't know existed. So I guess exciting for the fans, probably a bit deal for the game journos at least.

Have no clue why people want early access to unfinished and broken video games. Don't want to see the consoles move to this.

Game got only good reviews (7s and 8s), but it's the IP. To the casual fun, its mindless fun. And EA know this. ANd that's why they never care what the unsilent minority of core gamers yell about. The casuals' wallets are way bigger.

@SKC_Diamond I'm of course kind of joking, but kind of not. We've all been waiting for KH3 going on like a decade it feels, and there is no end date in sight.

Really enjoy the original, sequel is on my wall of shame... I still feel like I have lots of time to get around to playing it before III comes out.

This is why you can no longer give SE the benefit of the doubt. XV was supposed to be XII vs, but that never got off the ground. FF XIV, although fixed now, was a huge mess and failure for over a year.

The chances SE get this right is 50/50 at best anymore.

SE doesn't need to say episodic. Multi anything means they want to charge you $30 3-4 times to get more money out of you, and that doesn't even include the DLC that will come so you can dress as Tidus and Yuna for an extra couple of bucks.

I was on board, ready to get a PS4, but now... no thanks. I can't see this game being anything but a very pretty shell of its former sell.

And it's a turn-based game. There are plenty of RPG fans that like turn based. You didn't need to change that out of fear it has to be action-oriented. Just dumb.

Based on the comments, this does NOT mean we can put our PS2 disks into the PS4, correct?

Cause I'd buy a PS4 in a heartbeat if I could do that. I have PS2 games still on the backlog, but my brother has the PS2 states away.

Being able to buy games again is not appealing in the slightest.

@Tasuki Amen dude. Starting to get to the point where you can't even trust Nintendo to not need a Day 1 patch for games. Just don't read spoilers, and get the game when everything is repaired down the road. And if they don't repair it - which does happen - save yourself some money and buy something else that works.

Besides the Videogamer review of 5/10, all the other scores are just fine.

Remember folks, this isn't school, and score below a 9 out of 10 are perfectly fine.

That being said, it's like the 538th racer released in the last 10 years. Not exactly a lot of room to innovate anymore.

Totally agree. I think I've saved the world about 100+ times in my life. And when you aren't saving the world, you are saving a princess... or time itself... or yada yada.

Change it up devs. Make it so we are trying to stop the eradication of pink construction paper! I think that would make for an excellent story line in the next Call of Duty game.

It's a good deal for sure. Just by a PS4, get PS+... and you should never have to buy a game. They variety of genres offered on there should keep most gamers entertained, unless you play like 40+ hours of games a week.

Worst game I own on my WiiU. I think it's the only game in the last 3 years I started but did not finish due to it being too dark, bad controls and a stupid story.

If you really want to try it, wait for a PS Plus offer... should happen 2-3 months after release.

Hardware sales in general are pretty bad. Clearly Japan is starting to head toward mobile as well. I'd imagine though Vita still doing better in Japan on a monthly basis than it does in the U.S.

Don't have the time to build stuff, so minecraft genre doesn't really interest me. Kind of a kick in the nutsack though considering they have real DQ games to localize and bring over here.

Those numbers are downright insane. Whatever their marketing plan is over there, bravo to them.

Games that appeal to gamers are on Sony's platform. Sure, the new ones showed off are not coming out until 2016/2017, but there's plenty for them to maintain their lead.

Their only downfalls right now are wasting time with Morpheus, and the subscription service, which looks dumb compared to XB1's backwards compatibility.

Now just get the price down to $200, and I might jump in.

Amazed they had no 3DS stuff to show off seeing as that is the top selling system in Japan and well they are a Japanese company.

Just hope some of this stuff comes to PC eventually. I'm really not in the mood to own 2 systems per generation anymore.

I have tried on occasion to stream using Twitch. Such a complicated mess. If Youtube can make it user friendly, it will take over Twitch within a year.

That being said... I have so little time to game right now. I'd rather PLAY games than watch others play them poorly.

Would love a Vita for $100 to pick up MLB The Show since 3DS has no great baseball game. Maybe by Christmas that will be a thing.

That's just wrong. But this is the fault of gamers, who keep buying all of these ridiculous special editions. Don't do it, they won't won't make 15 SKUs.

I've played $0 total for the 4 or 5 free to play games I've played over the years. And that isn't going to change. Really wish people handled their money better. Because as sickening as this sounds, he's probably right.

Looks like no matter what system this generation you got at launch, you are doing a lot of waiting for enough good games to be released.

I think the days of me buying a system day 1 are over. Hype train is best to be ignored.

First time Nintendo has done a better job at marketing than Sony since the first couple years of the Wii.

Like the $10 price point. Feel like this is a game best suited for a handheld. MIght have to pick it up though since I was always a fan of the show and had one of the GBA games.

Guess I'll stick my '12 version. Great series, but sounds like we're at the point if you got 1, you have them all if updated roster is not the end of the world.

@get2sammyb At the end of the day, the majority of core gamers - those who purchase a lot of games per year - want their good old button pressing games. I just can't see VR using Move controls is suddenly going to make Move controls cool.

I say this as someone who actually likes motion controls and is a core gamer, but I feel like I'm in the minority on that.

Sony announced more layoffs today. I wouldn't be chasing a niche market of people who want Virtual Reality with Project Morpheus. I think they will burn more money than they will make.

But hey, I could be wrong. Virtual Boy was a huge success for Nintendo.

I haven't had a chance to pick this game up. So now, no need I guess?

@RisefromAshes You wouldn't have to even pay them behind close doors. All MS has to say is, "Well give you an extra % if you give us timed exclusivity." Some indies will bite on it. And only people that lose out are gamers.

Bad policy for sure. Probably could have mentioned it affects Nintendo too a little more. Could have easily just put this on NintendoLife and PushSquare and saved you guys' staffs a little extra work.

Where have the sales gone? And do you only get sales if you have PS Plus now? That would stink if so, I only have $3.50 left on my account, can't really buy much with that. If someone knows something worth buying for that much, I'm all ears.

Had this been real, pretty sure everyone who preordered a PS4 would have gotten off the list immediately. But that is pretty funny.

Maybe all the media outlets gave this game a 10/10 a little too soon? I know it will be fixed, but how did this not happen to anyone's review copy?

It certainly earns my first downloading of a demo on my PS3. Gotta see what this hub bub is about.

Will a demo be available the date of release otherwise? Besides the huge amount of swearing in the E3 2012 trailer, it looks pretty interesting.
