@CD456 I excepted the friends request before writing down the code haha My bad. Next time you're online could you resend it, sorry man haha No rush though.
While I agree that Ratchet & Clank does look good, and I will pick it up on its release, there is no way I would choose it over Uncharted 4. If they set the bar even higher than Uncharted 2, Uncharted 4 will be a mind blowing thrill ride. I've seen a few minutes of gameplay from both games and as good as Ratchet & Clank looks, it doesn't look anywhere near as good as Uncharted 4. Though this is my opinion.
@tenderbeefcake Yeah Garalt always reminds me of Big Boss lol. I love those games I mentioned above and I still own them too. I have tunnel vision for Fallout 4 at the minute, so I rarely play anything else that I own. I just need to get Fallout out of my system. Damn I feel like an addict lol
@REALROBLAW Their is no reason to worry. Bathesda are really good at getting the file size down on there games. Skyrim was a top game full of things to do and that was a smaller file than Oblivion. Skyrim was 3.5gb and Oblivion was around 5gb. Oblivion was also older buy a few years.
@Boerewors I played the first Mirror's Edge in VR via the Rift on my mates PC. It was definitely a strange experience and caused a little nausea and vertigo, though those feelings pass as you become used to the technology. I totally agree with what you're saying though. I just hope we eventually get traditional first person games for it sooner rather than later. No Man's Sky would be a great place to start.
I want the developers to trust that I know my own limitations and not over simplify the experience. Just slap a warning sticker on the box lol
I remember when I first installed Skyrim on my Xbox 360, I was really surprised to see that it was only 3.5gb's. I think Oblivion was around 5gb's plus. Thats a whole 1.5gb's larger for an older game.
I was also surprised that The Witcher 3 was only 30gb's as I was expecting it to be atleast 40gb's, which of course it now is after all the dlc and updates.
To be honest, im a little sick of my HDD constantly running out of space. Its crazy that a 1tb HDD isn't really that large anymore. I would recommend that anyone who is thinking about an upgrade should opt for a 2tb HDD instead.
Im actually looking forward to AC Syndicate but, of course I won't be getting it day one. Im going to wait for Fallout 4 and pick up AC after Christmas. By then most of the bugs and glitches should have been patched.
Im not a big fan of the Assassin's Creed series anyway. I enjoyed Black Flag, but that was mainly a pirate game, and a damn good one too. I'd love to see a current gen Black Flag. The main reason I want AC Syndicate is for the theme and location. Im also interested in seeing how the relationship between the brother and sister unfolds.
@DualWielding Damn dude im sorry. Actually come to think of it I think I remember you saying in an earlier post that you couldn't play first person games due to motion sicknes. So I guess VR is a no no too?
@brendon987 And people say the Vita is dead. I've noticed that the Vita has been in the top 3 multiple times of late.
If Sony would pump out a few more big first party games im sure sales would pick up in the west. Maybe another Uncharted, an Infamous and if they could get Rockstar to make a GTA for it that would sure help sell it. Besides, don't Rockstar still owe Sony an exclusive game.
@DualWielding I don't think it would be as good in third person . Part of the hook is the first person perspective. It really adds to the experience when you're running, jumping and climbing on top of high buildings and skyscrapers.
I CAN'T WAIT!!! I just wish the PS4 was powerful enough to run Mirror's Edge in VR. Its obvious that it will have a VR version on PC at some point.
So many amazing games so close together. I wish I could find a way to go without sleep for the next several months and still be able to work and play haha
@Dodoo I think alot of people are really looking forward to Rainbow Six Siege and The Division.
Im not a fan of the Assassin's Creed series, but Syndicate looks really good im my opinion. If they can nail the story and have a fun relationship between the brother and sister aswell as really good combat I think they will have a hit on there hands.
Oh my god, just give me this game already! I need my Fallout fix.
I've had some rather nasty comments aimed at me on certain forums for suggesting that Fallout 4 will win game of the year. People who don't play it think I am being a fanboy. Most of them are saying that accolade will go to The Witcher 3.
While I love The Witcher it comes nowhere close to Fallout for me. Also the last four games Todd H and Bethesda have made won game of the year.
@feral1975 From what I have heard you can watch movies and play none VR games on it via theatre mode. Sony have had a few device's that have theatre mode and they also understand that people will want to use there new PSVR in the same way.
This is what I love about PlayStation. You would never get these kinds of games on Xbox. Although I did play Fahrenheit on the original Xbox. Its a shame they didn't have more of these types of games on the XB360 aswell as the XB1, yet.
I would like to see some dlc for the first game which covers some of the 20 year gap, set after the prolog and before we meet Ellie. They could also focus on Joel's brother.
I can't take it any longer, the wait is killing me. Every E3 since 2013 I would hope to get some Fallout news and we finally get it and I now feel like im going to explode. I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas or a kid on a long journey. Are we their yet? Are we their yet?
@get2sammyb Would you say this is better/more scary than Outlast or not?
I've been looking forward to SOMA ever since E3 2013.
Has anyone noticed this issue me and my friends have had with the PS4 HDD?
Anytime I download a game or update I have to make room for double the size of the file.
For example, if im downloading a file thats around 15gb I have to have around 30gb of free space. This is something that only started happening around a couple of months ago. Im assuming its also including an installer with the file I am downloading but it never did this until recently.
It doesn't matter what size the file is, its always double.
Borderlands Handsome Jake update around 12gb = 24gb needed.
ESO 10gb = 20gb needed.
I also installed Shadow of Mordor from the disk 29gb = 60gb of space required.
At first I thought it was just me, but I know two of my friends also have the issue. I've tried looking online for information but I can't find anything related.
I know the PS3 had a similar issue, but this is recent for the PS4 as I know 100% that it never had it before the last couple of firmware updates.
I would be very grateful if someone could explain why this is happening.
Edit- I forgot to say that, once the file has downloaded and installed it will revert back to the required space, but before I start the download or even whilst its downloading it requires double the file size.
@Gamer83 It could slip into 2017 but they started development on it after Killzone 3 so its definitely possible we'll see it around Christmas 2016. I hope so anyway. Regardless, Sony have a good year lined up for 2016.
The Vita isn't even 3 years old is it. Sony are complete idiots when it comes to that system. There marketing has been far to weak for system that has so much potential. I just hope they do a better job with PSVR.
They're brave to release this collection around the same time as Fallout 4, Assassin's Creed, Black Ops 3, Star Wars Battlefront, Rainbow Six Siege etc. I think I will pass. I would definitely prefer they made a BioShock for the Vita instead.
I thought the studio behind BioShock said that they weren't making anymore BioShock games and were also down sizing the team. I also heard that they were moving into the mobile phone sector.
@Riririn The grass is always greener. To be fair though, XB1 has some top exclusive's too.
The past few months has seen too many games. Normally I would pick up a game every few weeks but recently we've been getting games releasing almost weekly. I've promised myself that im only going to purchase two more games this year. Fallout 4 & SOMA.
Konami won't be seeing one penny from me anyway. I haven't picked up Metal Gear Solid PP as im waiting for Fallout 4 which means, by the time I get around to purchasing MGSPP I will find a used copy no problem.
I don't see how thats going to be enough. Even if they raise twice the amount we're never going to get a true next gen sequel. Games these days cost ridiculous amounts of money to make. I loved Shenmue on Dreamcast and I am really looking forward to finally getting Shenmue 3 but, im going to try and manage my expectations.
@wittypixel Oh well. You're in for a treat. Well, thats if you like adventure games. Not sure how much you will like the first Uncharted as its pretty old now but, Uncharted 2 im sure you will really enjoy. Uncharted 1 was a good game, but the difference between that and Uncharted 2 is night and day. Uncharted 2 is more in line with what we've seen in Uncharted 4 so far.
