Considering the latest huge games are mostly like that (elden ring, god of war, horizon etc) it makes sense why they'd go in that direction.

That's Great , was pissed they removed kiwami 1 and 2 last week without warning.

Calling it a rival to smash might harm the game more , better to just enjoy it for what it is

Considering their biggest games always have a 1-2 year exclusivity to sony anyways, it wouldn't feel much different
