I liked meeting the crew from the previous games and joining their side, even though it wasnt a big deal , it still kept the story between games connected

Isn't he supposedly the original ghost though ? The first game was about building your legend as the ghost , so saying there's no reference wouldn't even make sense story wise .

A hero shooter would've failed regardless , they really don't understand why helldivers 2 did good , and tried to replicate it . A mass effect approach might've done way better but screw singleplayer games when live service multiplayer is a thing right?
