Originally I was excited for BugSnax as a game to be able to play with my daughter, but now, I'm thinking I just want to play it for myself too. Game looks cool.
I like that they’re a bit wider. I wish they were a bit taller, or at least interchangeable similar to the Elite. Maybe Sony will suck it up and build a First-Party Elite Controller for Ps5.
@Gremio108 I own both games. Dangerous Driving is more in line with the original Burnout games (think Burnout 3), but is a little more bare bones. Unfortunately Burnout Paradise is still a better game. Dangerous Driving wouldn't be a bad offering for PsPlus though.
It's a little thicker than the DS4, however I like the look of it so far. Assuming this is relatively accurate I'm glad they're not straying far away from DS4.
@LiamCroft I'm not a fan of microtransactions, but I can't take umbrage with cosmetic items. At least its not affecting the gameplay outside of aesthetics. I can live with that.
@m8e3point1415 One of the biggest downfalls of Vita was that Sony seemingly forgot about it too early on. It quickly found a footing in the indie market, but that's not enough to keep a handheld alive long term.
@David187 Although this game looks fantastic, it seems Sony didn't release this at a very good time, nor did they market it very well. Outside of the fact you knew it was coming, not much was said about it.
7.0 doesn't seem like a massive update. Although it is bringing some decent features. The new update system might be the only one that honestly benefits me.
I'm excited they've brought that to the platform, but dammit if I haven't already bought enough to make the service obsolete... I'll have to wait for them to bring more to up the value proposition. Still great news for Ps4 owners!
@Carl-G The idea of a large capacity SSD excites me, but my wallet quickly reals me back into reality. I know they're able to buy bulk and lower the price, but surely Sony and Microsoft don't get that large of discounts even in mass.
Super cool if they're able to do away with load times indefinitely. That would be a pretty revolutionary idea considering we saw some egregious load times this generation. It's a patent, nothing is set in stone, so I'll wait until then.
I love that VR has so many good experimental games out there. VR is on the up and up, but it will likely always be a niche market. It's such a fun thing to experience.
Even if you're just now jumping into buying a PS4, the value proposition for some of these games are astronomical. $20 is perfect for the patient gamer.
I'm going to actively root for PlayStation as a brand and certainly hope that it will be more powerful. That will make it's value proposition higher, hopefully, but a new xbox that is on par with ps5 would make competition much stiffer. That could lead to new and exciting risks on both ends. Either way I'm happy.
@eltomo Colin Moriarty is well connected within the industry. I'm not sure that you should dismiss it. Bare in mind though all of these rumors are hearsay.
I remember E3 being the seminal time during the year for video games, unfortunately for E3 the large announcements and other various announcements have been spread out throughout the year for a steady stream of decent news. I can appreciate that. Although it makes me sad that E3 is waning, I'm excited where games are going.
