@misak192 nope, it does not include the game itself. But many games have bundles or special editions with season pass already included (usually called ultimate edition or smth like that). And again those ultimate editions are slightly less expensive than buying the base game + DLCs from season pass without any discounts. E.g. Midnight Suns costs £64.99 for the base game. Season pass costs £39.99. Game + season pass = £105. But legendary edition with season pass and the base game included costs £89.99, £15 less. Sometimes devs even include some additional things (usually cosmetics) into such editions as well.
@misak192 it's collection of post-release content, usually with different DLCs released in a certain period of time (e.g. a year). Usually it costs less than buying all the DLCs for their normal price.
@nathanSF thanks for the info. Perhaps the price is worth the payment, but I have too many games on my wishlist and too many items in backlog to justify the purchase. And every sale have something with a better value.
Apart from the story is the end-game better compared to original Outriders?
@djlard it's not that hard in a technical way, because lots of games are made with Unity / UE and it's just the matter of new control schemes. But VR games are slightly different in terms of user experience and playing them with mouse / keyboard might be a disaster or pure boredom.
@The_Pixel_King just download the free version and go straight ahead. There is nothing too difficult even for solo players and after several hours / days you can clearly understand whether it's your cup of tea or not.
As you have written in the review the game has so much potential but can't figure out it's strongest sides and wastes so much effort on useless and strange things: big but empty open world (even too big), poor story, dull characters...
Not that bad, especially for the studio's first project. But way too bad for all the attention given to it.
I still hope to feel that magical atmosphere of the first Harry Potter games, but each time I see something like "100+ hours of content" and "1000 collectibles and puzzles" something dies inside of me
Though I can not find him on the Staff list at the moment.
Anyway, this is a classic cRPG that has all essential RPG features: from creating your own character and building it throughout the game with dozens of skills, items, etc. to making choices that really matter and, you know, indeed playin some roles. It's a type of experience that true RPG geeks appreciate, not an indie, but a solid AA or even AAA game. Something of this quality rarely sees the light in modern times and even more rarely comes to Playstation. I won't argue about this being out of your sight and missing the list, but totally recommend this one to all RPG fans and to you personally
@LiamCroft so Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous released on PS this autumn and no mention in RPG category? Even though it is one of the most solid projects of this genre in years and Pushsquare gave it 9/10 in a review? Guess, something's went wrong here
Dreams is an amazing thing out there with no rivals on PS. Unique project and a perfect starting point for those, who wish to get into programming and game development.
Well, even though the first TLOU game is one of my favorite games ever and I did enjoy the second part, too, I still wish Druckmann and Naughty Dog would start a new series or IP.
@nessisonett just think about them as "abilities" not "cards" and you will be good. They are that random factor that makes each turn unique and forces you to adapt and improvise. I expected X-Com with marvel heroes (and I would be totally fine with that) but this is one is a decent game. Currently just 10-15 hours into it and at as for now Midnight Suns are 8/10.
@ShogunRok first of all, thanks for the news about one of my favorite game series ever!
Now, to the questions:
1) Judging by the gameplay videos combat seemed much slower compared to the third part, is it really so? If yes, have you already found any ways to create some kind of speed-builds for farming and etc? Theoretically, of course, taking into account the current level cap.
2) Amount of different quests have increased, but are they rewarded properly? Getting a couple of items for killing hundreds of monsters might seem a bit strange.
3) Is there an option to prohibit other players joining my session? I am OK with crowded hubs, but seeing dozens of strangers during the world exploration will ruin my uniqueness and exceptional nature. I want to be the chosen one destined to save the world! At least until beating the final boss.
That's nice WB keeps sharing all those ASMR and music stuff alongside with small videos and gifs on Twitter, but I wish they show us some more Hogwarts magic... Like secret passages and rooms, puzzles, etc.
Also those students using unforgivable curses give me strange feelings. I understand that HP fans are now grown ups, but first books, movies and games gave that amazing feelings of magic and wonders, which I still can not feel in Hogwarts Legacy. Hope to be wrong though.
@PegasusActual93 I can't remember the section for ps4 demos either. If I remember correctly you had to type something like "doom demo" to find something every time.
Even though modern communication style via social networks tends to be more aggressive and innovative I still believe chatting with customers should be polite and respectful. Even if we forget about social conventions and etc., those people pay money for your product. And you can be witty without trying to insult someone... Well, now you may call me old-fashioned
This game had a difficult and interesting path to release, but I am happy it seems to finally make it. Gives me some kind of BioShock vibes. Not day 1 probably, but 99% I will pick it up.
@NeonTiger if it feels busy work, you still can progress through the whole story even without changing the gear. As for me those small RPG things like changing some skills, getting bonuses form gear and etc. only make GoW better and richer.
With each new trailer I become more interested even though the first videos were kinda bad... Perhaps, that's the Square Enix marketing department to blame - not the first time in their lives...
Well, still does not look like a £49.99 must-have for me. Those sudden objects popping up from time to time look weird. Overall gameplay and lack of style... Perhaps just not my game. Hope it plays better than on all those videos and brings some fun and joy for the players.
And I'm glad the Sonic is not forgotten. Perhaps one day this blue hedgehog will regain my attention once again.
It's nice when developers add different events to the single-player games. But I wish all those thing would be available if not all the time afterwards, but at least once in a while. Automatically.
@WallyWest same. Played for a couple of hours yet, but everything seems good at the moment. Not the best game of year and not 10/10 for sure, but not bad at all.
@LIMA well, have you played Forbidden West? It's an amazing showcase of how awesome a game can look, even it is made for 2 generations at the same time. Even though Plague Tale Requiem looks very good, I doubt can surpass Gorilla's project.
Looking forward to Ragnarok now. The first part was awesome in so many ways.
Played it before the work for an hour or so. Plot seems intriguing, in-game cinematics are cool and well-directed, the story missions are interesting. The city looks beautiful despite all the talks and even 30 FPS feels ok - you'll get used to them after ten minutes or so.
My current concerns are open-world activities and character progression. Getting the same resources as a reward and crafting the same gear seems boring, can't tell whether there will be set-bonuses in the future. Also I still don't understand why characters can not parry the attacks. And the movement system with a grappling hook feels like I am spiderman during the very first city run.
Beside those things the game itself is good enough. As for me 7/10 is a reasonable score.

@nathanSF yep, I've read all kind of materials, but more opinions = better. Thank you!

I've been waiting for a decent Outriders Worldslayer discount for a year... after adding the game to PS Plus, guess, it won't happen.

6 out of 10 is just right.

@Voltan there is a statement on developer's official site that the game will be released "on PC and other main-stream consoles".
Re: Ubisoft Releases 30 Minutes of Skull and Bones Gameplay Following Latest Delay
@ironcrow86 I also sadly have low expectation for Skull and Bones. This game had too many problems during the development.
Re: Ubisoft Releases 30 Minutes of Skull and Bones Gameplay Following Latest Delay
@ironcrow86 with Black Flag released 10 years ago... Big pirate games are something very rare. And amount of decent things among them is even less.
Re: Poll: Did You Buy One Piece Odyssey?
Played the demo and kinda liked it. Feels sweet and lovely, might give it a try a bit later.
But have to finish Midnight Suns, play Hogwarts Legacy, Jedi 2, FF16 and Diablo... Perhaps, afterwards. Or even in between.
