A new time-limited Cult of the Lamb event is allowing you to revive dead cultists in the new Blood Moon Ritual to mark Halloween. Available until 10th November 2022, this free update returns former cult members to the land of the living, and also comes packaged with three new follower forms, four more base decorations, and a new song. Check out the trailer above to see the ritual in action.

"Rejoice, disciples of the Lamb! Loyal followers can celebrate the spooky season in style in Cult of the Lamb’s Blood Moon Festival, a new limited-time event starting today," a press release reads. "Under the light of the Blood Moon devotees can harvest pumpkins to unlock a brand new ritual that will raise former members of their cult, casting them back to the land of the living as wandering spirits."

We called Cult of the Lamb "deliciously evil, giddily gruesome, and bloody brilliant" in our 8/10 rated PS5 review. This sounds like even more content to add to the great 20-hour adventure for those wanting more. "Taken on their own neither the combat nor the cult management would be strong enough to carry the title, but together they form a compelling whole that's then further enhanced by the delightful art style and pervasive sinister tone. It's evil and wonderful and more than a little unhinged. It's also one of the most impressive games of the year."
