@Mostik You really should, it's great! the first is a bit of a drag, you can feel the old age, but the story is great, and it sets up the second game, that's when it really shines!
I think the problem is that Rockstar don't communicate with it's costumers, so speculations is all we have, wich then turn to dissapointment when we're wrong. Everybody wonder what their plans are for old and new games, but are met with silence.
@Mostik Thanks mate! Indeed we have. I'm currently playing Mass effect legendary edition, it's my first time playing mass effect, what a rare gem it is!
I started playing it after the 2.0 update and the release of phantom liberty. I have played it two times now with over 250 hours. One of my favorite open world games, such a beautiful game.
@Uromastryx I always take this approach in open world games, do a lot of sidestuff, uppgrade, push the story a bit, and then explore again:) I dont get people how do the story first, and the do the exploration. When the credits roll the game is over for me, I always make sure the last mission is the last thing to do.
@StitchJones Maybe it's a very polite bear that doesn't what to be rude and kill someone whose having to talk to strangers in a middle of a fight Haha. Weird. It's the same in numerous games where you do a stealth mission "sneak past the guards to get to that door" kind of missions. They see you, a fight breaks out, but you can still go to the door, press the button to trigger the cutscene and everything is cool from there. Like the guards are thinking "dangit, he got to the door, well nothing we can do about it now" To be fair though, some games barricade the door after entering.
@StitchJones Yes, I always feel bad for doing that, but the game lets you do it without consequense and no questions asked. it's a bit weird to be honest
@guacguacboo I have been practicing on the guys on the wanted posters. The game doesn't really punish you if you die, you just start over. Learning by doing works best for me. Happy hunting
Ive been playing for 20 hours now on a base ps5 with japaenese voices. It's an 10/10 for me. Everything is a step over Thsushima, graphics, gameplay, combat, exploration, maybe the map was better in Tsushima(felt easier to travel through). One thing i kinda dont like is how easy it is to fast travel, becasuse how compressed the map is with a lot of objectives scatter, you can easily fast travel anywhere, anytime, with zero loadingtime. I know its optional, but im lazy and its convenient, on the other hand if you decide to ride to your next objective, you will almost certanly get sidetracked by some new exciting objective, wich will steal your focus(just on more bamboo stand, oh a yellow bird! looks there“s a hot spring, what whas i doing again?) But all in all, a great game!
I would totally go back if they released it. It is without a doubt the best gaming experience i've had. But it is a nightmare to play the ps4 version with 30 fps on a big tv. once I experienced 60 fps it has been impossible to go back.
@DennisReynolds I see where you coming from. I thought i would climb the whole mountian but insted just went through a crack in the mountain and came out on top. I havent invested enough time in it to understand the size of the map yet. But definitely a good point!
@Rob_230 Oh good to hear! Overall it is a really polished and beautiful world. I Just wished i had more time on my hands to experience it, but i guess i have to go to work also
@DennisReynolds What issues did you experienced? I had on where i would call my horse, it appeared then just ran away in the distance with no chance of catching it. After a while i could call it again and it would do the same thing, It was funny at first, looked lika a race car blasting off. But a quick fast travel seemed to solve it.
I have been holding this game off, mostly because the price havent dropped since launch and i am waiting on a sale. Not because im cheap or dont have the money, but when the game dropped i was already stacked with games to play. But maybe the time is now! Or maybe hope for a sale in december
Nice! i love this management kind of city builder games. I've played a lot of them on pc back in the day and it's the only thing i miss on PC gaming. I am currently playing age of empires 2 on playstation and the controlls actually feels great, did'nt think it was possible without mouse and keyboard. So i hope this also plays well!
I haven't played any of the metal gear games. I skipped PS2 and PS3 and mainly played PC under that period. I hear a lot of games from tha era are classics, including mass effect and the early resident evil games for example. So when a remake like this comes along it's great for us who didn't get to enjoy them, and everyone else for that matter:)
I've been holding this one off, mainly because of my backlog and i've been waiting for a sale, but know it seem like an excellent time to start playing it !
I made a big mistake not waiting for the physical edition of Black myth wukong, It wasnt confirmed when it released so i had to buy digital. Then it dropped a few months later out of nowhere. I still miss seing that box in physical collection.
I try really hard to have my games on a disc, it just feels better.
I just bought this on a sale and look forward to playing it, i guess it kinda got lost in the noice, but when a game is good, your'e keep getting reminded of it online, thats why it got my attention.
There is obviously 2 types of people to these games, the ones who prefer the original games and the ones who prefer the later games. I myself prefer the later ones with rpg elements and open worlds, i haven't even played the first ones, and i feel like "you had to be there". Maybe they upgrade them to current gen sometime, then i will try them. But heres my list of the ones i've played: 1. Shadows(yes, really) 2. Odyssey 3. Black flag 4. Origins 5. Valhalla(bloated, but beautiful) 6. Unity 7. Mirage(painfully bad)
@RaZieLDaNtE Now that's the spirit! Glad you're enjoying the game mate. I'm also having a blast! Can't wait until i can start adding all the furry animals to my hideout, apparently just petting animals saves them to your hideout later Cheers!
Yes, im lovin it so far. Graphics are some of the best out there, the hair physics is on point man. I'm playing with japanese voices as i did with ghost of tsushima, makes for a better experience. This is a solid one folks, dont listen to the noice.
I think if you have the PS5 Pro(not me) you can appreciate the slightly difference in visuals, but if your'e playing on the base machine, you won't be missing out since it already looks marvelous and plays smoothly. So, works for everyone
Thanks for the review! After reading a bunch of them now i can fairly say i will enjoy this game based on what i have read! happy stealth hunting everyone!
This game has gone from a hate object for many to become an underdog that we hope will strike hard. I was very sceptical at first(mostly due to the latest ubisoft entrys like mirage and avatar) but the longer time went and the hatestorm whirled, i slowly started to root for this game. I hope this will be good for all the gaming community, we need it!
I'm hesitant about KCD2, on one hand the immersive world is something i have craved for since RDR2, but something about the combat looks a bit of, and also the heavy RPG elements with long dialogue scenes. But i guess i should just try it for myself?
