The problem with live service gamea nowadays is that they are trying to chase the same train of success of Fortnite. The problem is that it's already too little too late. Just look at Destruction All Stars. While I'm glad the developers tried to improve the game, because of the lack of any big updates (or any new characters) makes it obvious that the game's future is looking dim. If Sony is not leaning on supporting and improving destruction all stars, then who's to say they'll be any different with their other upcoming live service titles?

Sony should stick to what they do best. Single player games with optional multiplayer modes/components. It's a shame cause their IPs have potential for some MP growth. Imagine a Monster hunter style Horizon spinoff, or a hero shooter more for Rift Apart, or even something like GoT:Legends for God of war or spiderman 2. Dumb ideas I know, but still...

Lots of live service games right now are either getting shut down, having their support cut short, or are struggling to provide a profit for the devs. Really feels like live service is slowly losing steam. Now I'm worried for destruction all stars.

I think that's a good thing. They should let Naughty Dog make something new insteading of focusing on making sequels of their popular games.

Unless it's Jak though, which I'm completely fine with lol

Literally just give up on it. Hell, even live service games like Fallout 76 look more exciting than Skulls and Bones. If all you really gonna do in that game is just ship battles and nothing else, then I don't expect the game to maintain the players' attention for a long time.

We need more anime games like this and less mediocre arena fighters/pvp-focused ones lol

I honestly just hope it turns out to be more faithful than the Halo tv series.

Not gonna lie, I'm kinda getting tired of this selling point because most of the time, it's almost never a huge deal. And at worst, it's straight up lying lol hope I'm proven wrong.

They will also publish Convallaria, which gives me hope that it will turn out atleast as good as Lost Soul Aside, because we barely heard much about Convallaria and the gameplay videos thye have shown were "meh" to say the least, though they could just be pre-alpha footage.

I hope the best for these two games. So far, I enjoyed some of the latest China Hero's latest outings like Anno and FIST, although In Nightmare didn't turn out as good as I expected at launch (the devs did try their best on fixing the game and even ported it to Steam but still...), so I'm still toning down my expectations lol

Wonder if this was the reason for them to add Nioh 2 to PS Plus, as a way to celebrate this milestone.

@LIMA great that you enjoyed it (i did too, though I'm still hoping the sequel expand more on the gameplay aspect) but you still really need to give Nioh a shot. Ignore some of the game's etilist fans though and there's a good reason why Sony loved the game so much that they went as far as to publish the games for the Playstation version (which probably explains why Nioh coming to Xbox is highly unlikely, as said by the devs). The only thing that might put you off are certainly the difficulty spikes (and the loot system if you' weren't a fan of that in games like Borderlands or Destiny).

@LIMA Did you even gave Nioh a chance at all? Are you just not a fan of the japanese setting? Guess Ghost of Tsushima probably won't be for you lol

Those are my exact thoughta on loot-based actipn games. I want to love them yet there are many issues that prevents that.

@Coolmusic agreed. Plus, if there was ever a pvp option to leat you fight as your own character, I really doubt it's gonna go well due to their exploitable and customizable hitbox.

Oof. Was kinda hoping for Sony to buy them. While Iron Man vr wasnt perfect, I thought it was solid and had a lot of potential. I can imagine a sequel being better. Maybe adding co-op where you can also play as war machine? Who knows.

I wont be surprised if capcom decides to add limits to prevent people from creating these monstrosities (though I'll be disappointed if they do lol)

Hoping this one ends up good, especially since guillermo del toro is involved. Still, considering it's from playstation talents, I'll tone down my expectations, since usually games from talents, especially horror ones, don't always turn out to be great due to their ambition.

This might as well be called Street fighter online or Capcom unirverse lol really surprised by the amount of content it has. Especially for a fighting game. Makes me wish more fighting games offered more content, though I understand that would cost many resouces.

Could be for that, or for his Xbox collab exclusive. Regardless, I'm excited.

@nessisonett true though just a quick heads up, the game didn't recieve glowing reviews (usually scores of 6 and lower) so dont get too excited lol this is just something playstation spain does at times (waves out was an example) and sadly not a lot of games from talents are usually hitters. A lot of them feel like bargain bin games, which is why you barely hear anything about them, despite there being many of them, so it's kinda hard to call it thriving. Well, for ps talents anyway. I'm sure the indie scene overall in spain is doing well, with the likes of blasphemous (spanish dub > english dub) and aragami.

Don't know why but this game is giving me early PS4 gen vibes, and I mean that in a good way lol

About time lol hoping this means bigger VR games that were released for the oculus could come to PSVR2. Maybe stormlands or asgard's wrath?

I'm good, thanks. Some of the new changes for the game don't really convince me to go back. I'll wait for gundam evolution instead.

Honestly, I just want the animators to work on the show. As for the writers, I definitely want them to be different, none from Castlevania that's for sure. Because if they make characters like Gyula or Gehrman constantly say swear words and s*x jokes, I'll be incredibly disappointed.

Seems like a solid length. Honestly more excited for the boss fights themselves. Hoping this time it will have a better variety.

I personally don't mind remakes. I just wnat remakes of games that do deserve it.

Heck, if I'm being honest, I actually wouldn't mind a remake of Nathan Drake's first adventure, with combat as refined as UC4's, maybe sneaking in some new mechanics introduced in UC3/4, improving the Ai, and maybe even make the final boss actually, you know, fun lol since uncharted is still a popular sony IP, I think it could work.

Also, we're in due for a God of war remastered collection. Sales could sky rocket thanks to God of War 2018 and Ragnarok's popularity.

Again, I think remasters and remakes are fine, and I'm not surprised Sony is making them as "appetizers". Still, really makes me miss the time were Sony were showing off many of their upcoming games left and right.

Honestly, just remaster the game for just $50. There's no need to make a $70 paywall for new accesability options. If sony wants to remake games...then just remake the ones that deserve it! Jak and Daxter, legend of dragoon, war of the monsters, killzone, the god of war trilogy, resistance, starhawk, or even freedom wars. At this point, expect a Spiderman, Ghost of tsushima or death stranding remake lol

About time we heard something from Evotinction. Hopefully other china hero games like AI Limit and Convalleria also get something new soon (the former especially).

If sony really wants to tackle live service games, then they should definitely bring back Warhawk. Heck, the gameplay is perfect as it is, with just a few tweaks needed. No need to go what Battlefield 2042 went through.

And for a modern one, a Starhawk revival could work as well. A PvPvE spaggheti western scifi shooter game with building gameplay and mecha fights? Sign me up!
