Imo it’s fair criticism that’s SM2 is receiving about it not looking current gen but to also be fair on the other side of the coin, Insomniac did say that it was an old build. I can’t wait to see current builds of gameplay closer to launch

Uhhhhh yeah. Who doesn’t expect the PS5 to sale over 100m? They’ve only done it 3/4 times with the one time being because of a disastrous start to the gen.

Big 🧢. That conference was horrible. A PLAYSTATION showcase that showed over 40+ mins of indies and multiplats. 3 first party showing and 2 were CGI trailers. And if I’m keeping it a buck SM2 doesn’t look like a game only possible on PS5. 3/10

I mean if we’re totally being honest SM2 doesn’t look a hellava lot better than SM Remastered. I was expecting to be blown away by SM2 visuals and wasn’t.

Over 40+ mins of indies and multiplats in an hour long Showcase. Let that sink it. Another 10+ min of VR2. This showcase was an complete and utter FAILURE.

I don’t know what going on at PS but it seems they’re having a hard time reading the room lately. Who asked for this and especially in remote play form? Hopefully this stays on that rumor mill and never sees the light of day

I personally think that a Pro is needed but if you don’t think so don’t buy it when it releases. We have games that can drop as low as 720p in resolution just to try and maintain 60fps. Game like Tchia that needs a performance mode at 1080p just to hit 60fps. So yes when the Pro releases I’ll cop one for sure

Love haptic feedback when done right. Absolutely loathe the adaptive triggers. I turn off the triggers in every game I can.

The fact that we have games running in sub HD is wild. I’m not scoffing at DRS but the fact that we have games running at 1080p and lower is a problem. The fact that 30fps is still around is a problem. PS5 and XSX is relatively new hardware and we stuck with PS4 type performance. That’s a problem.
