I've only just started playing RE4 and I don't see what the issue is with her voice? Sounds normal and believable to me. Those who take these game changes too personally have serious mental issues.

If they replaced her voice with a male or over the top cartoon voice, then that would be silly. But not silly enough to personally target the voice actor. There's bigger issues in the world at the moment than someones voice.

GTA IV is underated. I'm replaying it now on my Xbox Series S and it handles and controls suprisingly good. Yes it's drab looking at times but I'm enjoying this more that the arcadey style of gameplay than the recent games. I wish R* would remaster this.

Um yeah, it was a GameCube original, then ported to the PS2.

I don't understand the aerial combat in Suicide Squad. Everytime they showed combat the characters were zipping around in the air while shooting. Looks way worse than Gotham Knights.

I'm late to the party with the Yakuza series, having only played Yakuza 0 and 5. But being a Samurai/Edo style fanatic, this was a must buy.

Yes it feels dated at times, but it's a blast to play. The mini games and side quests are both fun and funny, and there is heaps to do and see.

Back into Destiny 2 after a 2 year break. Really enjoying it, easy to jump in and ay a few strikes etc. Also finally bought Shadowkeep and Beyond Light on sale.

I'm still chipping away at Lego Skywalker Saga. I've competed all the planets in free play, just need to replay the episode levels to collect the minikits and challenges.

I'm also running through Horizon Forbidden West. Another big, time consuming game.

Ok when does Australia get it? We fall under European realease dates for games but then we come under Asia for other things.

DLC characters are disappointing imo. No voice lines and the weapons have generic qualities, not personalised. For example Baze Malbu's blaster shoots a slow rate single blaster bolt while in the movie he had a heavy weapon type blaster. Big missed opportunity with the DLC. They could have added new levels/missions and they would have been snapped up.

I had to double check what I was reading, as I thought it was a co-op list. Less than half the games on here would be classed as true co-op. Going by this list, it seems every game is co op, as all you do is hand the controller over to your friend if they want a go 🙄

But seriously, the best co-op games IMO are the Borderland series, Destiny 2, Overcooked, A Way Out, Lego Skywalker Saga, every Lego game..

Art of Rally is highly recommended. Great gameplay, replayability, stylish visuals and a thumping soundtrack.

GOTY for me. I'll be playing the episodes in the order of the film releases: 4,5,6,1,2,3,7,8,9.

Not sure if it's been said anywhere else but I think here in Australia we'll be getting a fourth tier: PS Plus Deluxe. This is because we don't get or never had PS Now streaming here, so this will apparently be a tailor made tier for us down under. So no streaming for us again. Not sure of the price point..

I can see this being my GOTY.

As I a big Borderlands fan I was unsure about this one. BL2 was the pinnacle, with The Pre-sequel being good and BL3 was average and disappointing. Also I'm not a big fan of the fantasy/D&D genre in general and was afraid all that magic would not fit in with Borderlands world.

Boy was I wrong. The gameplay is as fun and tight as it's ever been, and the new magic/spells fit in perfectly. The quests and missions are entertaining and funny with a few actual laugh out loud moments for me. The level/area design and locations are some of the best of the series. The only downsides so far are technical, being visual hiccups in the menu and online/co op connectivity, which can both be patched.

I do highly recommend this if you're after a fun shooter, even if you disliked BL3. Yes it's more of the same but it's varied and improved enough to make it different from previous games in the series.

This will be my GOTY.

These tech demos of realistic graphics have been shown for years. But still only cut scenes can process this realism. We have yet to see a full game if this quality.

@tomassi my guess that it will be the original Lego style characters from when the first game came out: yellow heads, basic face details, bad hair styles.

I wish they'd make actual levels/episodes for these movies/tv shows and not just characters.

I used to love the Destiny franchise. When it was released it had probably the tightest shooting mechanics there are, fun and challenging loot missions, and some awesome gun designs.

Then they slowly removed expansions. You can no longer travel to certain planets and moons, all armour gradually looked the same, and everyone was using similar firearms. Bungie took away our gameplay freedom and ripped us off by removing content we paid for.

And when will it return from the vault? Who knows. Maybe in 5 years time when the re-release the game as an anniversary edition and charge another $50. They had the chance to make something bigger with plenty of locations, customisation and characters but stuffed it up IMO.

I'm a massive Borderlands fan, with #2 being my all-time fave. When I saw this trailer I didn't get excited as I usually do for a BL game. Not sure if it's the magic aspect, the setting (not a fan of D&D, GoT, etc,) or that it had it wasn't entirely a FPS with guns.

I'm still on the fence about it, and won't be a day 1 purchase like usual. Guess I'll be waiting for reviews to come in. Plus I'll probably still be playing 2022 GOTY, LEGO Star Wars Skywalker Saga by the time I make my mind up😍😍😍

I could never get into GTA 3, I was hoping they would rerelease GTA IV instead.

This beta was just Battlefield 4 with extra bugs and a new map. It was chaos, but not in a good way. There is was no teamwork at all. No one was dropping ammo boxes, no one was reviving, it was just people running around blowing things up and shooting anything that moved, friend or foe. I'll stick to Hell Let Loose for my multiplayer teamwork for now.

The only games that grabbed my interest were Project Eve and Tchia. They looked new and fun. The rest of the showcase were games we've known about, seen before or played before. And why remaster the Uncharted games? The visuals are already great, what else can you change? I wasn't expecting much but was still underwhelmed. Plus with nearly every game telling me 2022, I think why show me now? Show me closer to release or give a set date. I'll forget about the games that get delayed.

Cringey dialogue and cutscenes, gameplay is fun at first but after a while becomes repetitive and costume unlocks are mostly similar. Don't think I'll play again after the Beta.

Yeah disappointed with the constant delays. Though still a day one purchase for me. Does look good, and the open-world style planets sound fun.

I noticed today (Thursday 19th) that an update downloaded for Ghost of Tsushima for about 16gb. This was on my PS5. Wondering if that has anything to do with the free PS5 upgrade or just preparing for the DLC. Either way I'll be buying the DLC tomorrow. GOTY 2020 for me.

RDR remake would be awesome. They already have most the assets from RDR2, just need to add the missions and map portion of Mexico. Instant buy for me. I'd also be interested in GTA4.

Hopefully the combat isn't too complicated with too many buttons. Absolved was interesting but had too many stances, etc and became confusing after a while.

Was looking forward to the WRC9 rumour. COD is the only one that slightly interests me.

I would love WRC9, Ive played and enjoyed Lost Legacy, and I played A Plague Tale on Xbox and it didn't interest me.

Great game, it took me about 10 hours to platinum. Visuals were near perfect, story was ok, but gameplay was repetitive. Not a game I'd replay due to already finished it 100%. Overpriced.

Do I need/should I play the previous Metro games to enjoy this one?

Played it on release, enjoyed it but not enough to slog through the campaign and find all the collectibles again.

Could be interesting. I'm a big Borderlands fan so if plays similar than count me in. Although was never a big Tiny Tina fan, found her annoying and overrated to be honest. Hopefully the other characters have personality.

I understand that MP is their strong point but this looks like garbage. I've enjoyed every BF up until now. Wait for the microtransactions, loot boxes and other greed.

I didn't mind BFV as I enjoyed the WWII setting. BF3 is my fave if the series so far, before the hackers moved in.

@AgentGuapo well if that's the case, I'll only play it if it requires online connection and makes me purchase perks and abilities through micro transactions. And if she's not wearing a bikini on the box art, forget about it.

I have no problem with how she looks. She looks more female than other gaming females. And i'm assuming she identifies as female in the first place. As long as this game doesn't force their views or current hot topics down my throat (like other big games have), i'll be buying this as i loved the first game.

I had a feeling that this game would maybe fail to deliver. It looked interesting from day one but the world seemed empty and the combat seemed basic and repetitive. It looked like a last generation game (PS3 era). will probably still play it it when it drops in price.
