Characters from one of the best Star Wars films of the modern era are now available in LEGO form as the likes of Jyn Erso, Bodhi Rook, and Cassian Andor are available to buy as a character pack for LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. Priced at £2.49/$2.99, they're joined by K-2SO, Chirrut Îmwe, Baze Malbus, and Director Krennic. Another character pack is also available from the PlayStation Store today containing classic designs for Luke, Leia, Han Solo, Darth Vader, and Lando. They're all based on the original designs from 1999.
The Rogue One and Classic Character packs join Solo: A Star Wars Story and The Mandalorian Season 1 in movies and TV shows covered by the LEGO title post-launch so far. Still to come are packs themed around the second season of The Mandalorian, Star Wars: The Bad Batch, and a Trooper pack. You can guarantee yourself access to all of this content today through the Character Collection bundle costing £11.99/$14.99.
Close to 400 playable characters are now included in LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, which impressed us in our PS5 review — we awarded the game an 8/10. "Despite some very minor issues, it's gram for gram the best LEGO game in a long time, and it's up there with the top Star Wars games to boot."

If you didn't tell me what movie that article header image was from, I wouldn't have a clue frankly.
@LiamCroft I'm real sorry for being "that guy" but it's Jyn Erso, Cassian Andor, and Chirrut Îmwe.
Again, real sorry. My OCD wouldn't let me scroll past.
@RogerRoger I'm also a bit confused by this: "containing classic designs for Luke, Leia, Han Solo, Darth Vader, and Lando. They're all based on the original designs from 1999."
Surely you mean 1977? They weren't in anything from 1999 were they?
@RogerRoger Whoops, fixed!
@elvisfan1 The PlayStation Store listing reads: "Explore the galaxy as iconic characters based on the original LEGO® minifigures from 1999." So I guess these model designs were released then?
@LiamCroft @elvisfan1 Yeah, that 1999 date is when LEGO first released those characters in minifig form and so, strictly in relation to LEGO Star Wars, words like "classic" and "original" relate to then.
@LiamCroft Also, thank you for the swift edit, and for not laughing in the face of my overbearing inner nerd.
Which pack is Baby Yoda going to be featured in? I know an Article on Nintendo Life mentioned having to pay extra for him.
@RubyCarbuncle Grogu's already out. He's part of The Mandalorian: Season One pack, which was made available at launch. He's not playable, though. He's a companion character who'll appear behind you and follow you around everywhere, but only when you play as Din Djarin in Free Play level replays or Galaxy Roam.
@RogerRoger Ahh ok thanks for letting me know.
Wish we would get a Book of Boba Fett pack so we could have Mando with the Darksaber.
@RubyCarbuncle No problemo!
I'm slightly annoyed with myself, because I'm about to platinum the game, and yet all my favourite characters are coming in the last two DLC packs. I'm gonna be booting up an empty galaxy on May the 4th and wandering around with nothing to do!
@LiamCroft Ah that makes total sense!
I've just downloaded them for free! I bought the Deluxe Edition which came with the Character pack - didn't think we'd get future stuff without paying a few quid for each subsequent pack..?
I've just seen this on the game's title screen. I think I'll snap it up for that price. That's like the same as a star bar, a can of lilt and a packet of spicy tranform-a-snacks.
Still haven’t unwrapped my PS5 Deluxe Edition. I want to Platinum Gran Turismo before I move on and loose all the muscle memory.
It looks brilliant though, looking forward to it.
DLC characters are disappointing imo. No voice lines and the weapons have generic qualities, not personalised. For example Baze Malbu's blaster shoots a slow rate single blaster bolt while in the movie he had a heavy weapon type blaster. Big missed opportunity with the DLC. They could have added new levels/missions and they would have been snapped up.
@WallyWest I suspect the development process was mostly done by then, so they didn't have time to include it?
Hopefully they are working on it now and we'll get it as a last minute surprise DLC addition.
