@Jbumi Transistor is a really great game, really superb soundtrack, and I believe you can still download the theme for free in the US if you purchase the game. It is still the background I use for my ps4, best one yet imo!

The problem I have with early access is that by the time the game "officially" launches, I will be finished playing it more than likely. Unless it is some once a generation genre defining masterpiece, I am not gonna stick around and play it that long. For me it is better to play the finished product, so I get to enjoy it at its best and not be burn out on it before it even gets to a stable and 100 percent playable game. I'll pass on early access bullsquat.

@mookysam Go to vault 81 and buy the Overseers Guardian from the woman in the Depot. Very moddable and probably the best weapon in the game. Up your rifle perk and gun nut perk and this gun gets absolutely ridiculous.

At least they give you some music to go along with all that walking....

Yea the story in Inquisition didn't feel all that special to me, not like Origins anyway. Dragon Age needs a SERIOUS overhaul IMO to keep it relevant. I wish they would take it toward a Dragons Dogma direction, that would be awesome.

BTW Journey is absolutely awesome, but it's soooo last gen broseph, shouldn't even be on the list.

For the love of God when are we going to get off the proverbial Witcher nut sack. I get it, it was good, but it was not something I would ever play twice, and the fantasy tropes are layered on just a little to thick. Please CDPR bring us Cyberpunk asap so these people can gush over something else for a change.

I understand why Xbox tries in Japan, for luring Japanese developers into creating games for the One. Like ScaleDragon, or whatever is. At this point though that is just sad. 99 units, wow. I wonder what the all time low has been since the one released in japan?

Unless Microsoft gets Americans to buy the One exclusively, and in copious amounts, it will never catch up. Worldwide the ps4 is simply dominating it. Fortunately they are both great consoles and there is something for every type of gamer out there.

@BAMozzy If you actually look at the sales of the ps3 and 360, the ps3 was selling more by monthly basis from the start, the 360 had a leg up in sales because it released alot earlier. The fact that the ps3 launched so much later and STILL eventually surpassed the 360 is pretty impressive.

BTW I also think that Nintendo wouldn't have minded the Wii ONLY selling 80 some million Wiis if the WiiU were able to follow that up with another 50 million or so, where the ps4 will probably be by years end. Now Nintendo is throwing everyrhing at the NX and HOPING it is a smash hit, because the wiiu has definitely deflated the momentum gained by the wii. It is all cyclical IMO and I honestly hope the NX is AMAZING. Unfortunately I think it will be another device aimed at children, and that's ok. Just not for me personally.

@Mahe I kinda figured someone would reply with that. I liked the Wii, nice little console, but I personally don't place it in the same category. When a good portion of your consumer base is rehabilitation centers and 50 plussers, it's different. Was it a success? Certainly was. Was it a sustainable model after it became obselete? No. At this point I lump together PS4, X1, and PC into a common gaming group in my head. Consoles that at least try to appeal to a more mature audience, for the most part. Nintendo is in a league of their own, fighting for the hearts of our children everywhere, lol. And that is fine, my 9 year old LOVES his DS, in fact if it could aye minecraft he might wouldn't need anything else lol. Anyways, yes technically Wii won the generation, but for me personally it wasn't directly competing for the same mind share as 360 or ps3, just my opinion of course. Sorry for rambling on btw.

IMO they should let it rest for a few months, then a few months before release go all out on advertising. The every week slow drip kinda has me not very interested, even though I will be getting it. Just hope it is a return to form.

It has been a successful brand since the launch of the original playstation. PS3 started a little slower, but eventually overtook the competition. If anything, the ps4 is a return to normalcy as their consoles have always been top dog. I also think psvr will help move even more ps4s. Can't wait!

I did see a leaked source that states the NX will stream video in 4k and the games will run at 900p/60fps. I will be impressed if they actually pull the it off. Seems a bit far fetched considering it will probably have a built in hand held device as well, making the sum of all the parts very pricey. Pricey is not usually what Nintendo goes for.

I see Destiny is still raking in the dough. I really liked Vanilla Destiny, but was burned out by the time the rest of it released. Any news when we might get Fallout DLC or mods on ps4??

This is great news for playstation fans everywhere. I think I read they will be checking out mo-cap devices and whatever else. Would be cool if Kojima gifted us a psvr classic. I personally think his next game will be something completely different than anything he has ever done; possibly something he wanted to do but was never allowed or approved by Konami.

Say what you will about puzzle games (I tend to not enjoy them), but it looks like Blow has put some SERIOUS effort into this game. Seems like the guy created a gaming love letter to Myst. I think it looks amazing graphically, considering.

I guess the Vita will live on through ultra niche jrpgs. Better than letting it die but I just don't see how games like this really get any traction outside of Japan, and that is ok. JRPGS need love to, actually I am not even sure if this IS A Jrpgs lol.

Yea, trading just leads to a while other host of problems. Once you allow trading you inevitably have people attempting to hack or spam the best gear into the game, ruining the economy. This forces the devs to focus on fixing items in the game rather than improving the game itself.

Yea I feel like If I wanted an experience like Quantic Dreams generally offers I would rather read a book, just jk lol

Rather have a real Phantasy Star like some of those released on the Genesis. Get the dang IP back to its roots and let go of this f2p IMO.

No, don't bring it. Sega will muck it up. (Once was my favorite game company) What they need to do is re start the series fresh for a new generation and create a new mainline game that is single player only. Get people interested in the lore again, and then later create an mmo experience for the west if people show interest. I have no faith that Sega knows how to properly handle their IPs anymore. Sad, because they have alot of great ones they don't even use. Panzer Dragoon Saga ring a bell?

Well I guess if we are going to assume this is going to be the title of a game than we can also assume NMS will be psvr compatible, making it the largest game on the peripheral.

1. Walking simulators will still be egregiously popular on pushsquare.com
2. Morpheus will release in June around 400 US and quickly receive a bundle with a ps4 and games etc either right then or for the holidays.
3. Last Guardian and NMS will both have good reviews with TLG slightly higher due to fan appeal.
4. Sony will end the year with over 50 million ps4's sold.
5. Agent by Rock Star will be announced as a ps4 exclusive alongside the announcement of RDR2, RDR2 will release first.
6. Tasuki continues to wield the ban hammer with reckless abandon;)
7. Sammy continues to profess his love for Miss Swift and all games that include teenage angst and emotion;)

@xMEADx You can cancel a preorder in games top at any time before release. Pretty sure best buy works the same way.

Didn't they already say that they wanted a world wide release on this? Maybe I am thinking of something else. Plus I kinda feel like this will be closely tied to the NX and will be a launch title for them.

@T7L3RB Playing through Fallout again I am finding all kinds of new quests, npcs and ways to play. Such an awesome game. I just can't recommend Witcher to anyone simply because for me the time sink involved doesn't offer near enough fulfillment. Plus I felt lost in a lot of the over arching stories. Probably need to read up on all the back content and lore to better appreciate it. Really hoping NMS is awesome and I hope far cry primal is a nice change of pace.

@get2sammyb Man I hope so. I know a lot of people felt like we were getting to much news on the game at one point, but I rather liked it and now it seems to have gone very quiet. Still wanna know about psvr compatibility and release date. I'm assuming it will be a full priced game which is cool with me. So we will get a freestyle, ATB, and turn based? That's pretty awesome and I am pretty sure it was fairly easy to implement a turn based system, my favorite for final fantasy ever since playing the original ALL those years ago on the NES.
