@naruball I though it was a great review, especially considering the amateurish writing, unacceptable glitches, heavy handed plot and the overall boring factor of the game. To each their own but after following MANY different review sites, push square is far ahead of almost all others in terms of realistic reviews and community involvement. Good luck finding any other site that compares.

Anyone looking for a cool theme for their ps4 background, check out the Transistor one. Awesome sound fx, icons, and of course the background itself. It's the best one I have found this far and I have used it for months now.

@Dodoo Yea never quite understood the uproar for folders, just why? External HD support on the other hand....

Honestly folders just seem absolutely useless for me personally. I really don't even see the point. What I really want is external HD support. I have a 2tb SSD in my ps4 now, but would still like an external because I will inevitably fill the 2tb up.

I like the occasional jrpg, probably about 1 per year now (in my younger years I was almost an exclusive jrpg player) It seems like we have some real treats coming very soon. Any announcement on the release date for Persona 5? I have unfortunately never played any of the other entries and many people online are telling me that if I even consider myself a casual fans of jrpgs that I MUST play the persona games. Anyone know if you need to have played the previous titles in persona or star ocean to fully enjoy the new entries?

@xMEADx yea agreed, but I think they realize their biggest market for this game is in Japan and there are certainly more ps3s in Japan than ps4s.

I .sure seems developer could even figure a way to add in NPCs to these travel VR videos, adding all sorts of information about the location and history of the place you are "visiting". Heck, at some point they might be able to use these VR travels and added in NPCs and create games that take place in the actual places we visit, all possible from our home with a headset and some cotrollers. Amazing to think about and probably years away, but awesome nonetheless.

I think Sony wants to broaden people's ideas on the uses of the psvr. I envision a future where VR is used in the classroom for a very "hands on" approach. VR for online classes at university, vr in the conference room for businesses, and vr for travel. Imagine you pay 5 bucks and get a 1 or 2 day "rental" to go see a famous place in the world. The coliseum, the pyramids, etc etc. All these sites and places across the world could be filmed in 3d 4k cameras and then uploaded allowing the user to pay a nominal fee to "walk" around and visit placed they probably never could otherwise. Imagine the educational implications! It can become a truly transcendent piece of tech. (Not psvr specifically, but vr in general) How popular have walking simulators become these days? What would be better than "walking" through these real life exceptional places? Or even in space! The possibilities are nearly endless and I truly hope the world and specifically gamers embrace this tech so it has time to evolve and iterate in the coming decades.

@Boerewors This is exactly how I felt about vanilla destiny. Very limited in terms of variety and longevity, but the shooting and movement mechanics were so smooth and fun to play it kept me hooked for quite awhile. If the mechanics are as good as you say I will definitely give this a try on ps4.

Just no.....no, no, no. Just give me vr games that utilize the light bar on the DS4. I don't want any damn move controllers and I especially don't want a power glove peripheral. I could see it getting some good use for VR porn though, especially if they add in a lotion dispenser in the palm. Just sayin, lol.

Btw, the service you paid for works perfectly fine, playing games online and sharing games online with your friends. The games part is a bonus and is a gift for subscribing to said service. If you only bought plus in the hopes of getting the specific games you like every month then you should probably invest your money elsewhere. Don't worry, we won't miss you.

More value for owning a plus subscription. Although the vocal minority will tell you that Sony is the devil because they charge 50 a year for the ability to play online games, share games with friends online, receive new discounts every month and get 72 free games a year. Man, what a bad deal, smdh.

@ToOGoodOfAPlaya You have to stop thinking about plus a games give away service and thing about it for what it is, a subscription to play online games. The free games every month and the constant discounts are a bonus for subscribing. That's it. If you don't play online games at all then the service may not have value for you, especially if your only reason for subscribing is in hopes that you will get free AAA games every month.

@thatguyEZ Resting in their laurels? How so? Because they give away 72 free games a year as a bonus for paying to play online? What? Did you own a ps3 and plus back then? You do realize that the first come years of plus on ps3 did not consist of AAA games every month? It was only after the console had settled in and a LARGE library of games were available did that start happening. Give it another year or so and you will start to see those early launch title AAA games that are so important to the less than 1 percent vocal minority that complains about this.

@Davidspegasus The majority of those they whine about this likely don't even own a SONY conservative or a plus subscription. Since Sony has done well by the consumer this gen they latch onto any little thing they can to try and bash them, all to make themselves feel better because they bought a different plastic box. You pay for online gaming, they throw the games in every month as a bonus for deciding to join their plus plan, plain and simple.

@DarthHater Go play pc then. Noone is forcing you buy plus. It is 50 for me a year and I am paying for the ability to play online games. This isn't pc, Sony and Microsoft have to maintain their servers for online gaming and it is not free, bottom line. If you don't like, then don't play on a playstation. Fact of the matter is it IS a good service and that is proven by the MILLIONS of people and growing that use this service and enjoy it and have no problem with it. It's the childish vocal minority that spew this drivel every month because Knack wasn't on the plus list. @DarthHater The games are free, you are paying for a subscription for online gaming. When you download the plus games from the psstore, what does it say where the price generally is? That's right, it says FREE. This is the misconception that gets people upset. You have to realize that you are paying for an online gaming sibscription, you are not paying for free games every month, as you so eloquently put it.

@Tasuki Some people these days expect to get everything they want for little to no money. They expect Sony and Microsoft to continue to create bigger and better gaming and online experiences and then get angered when they are asked to pay for it. Take a game like Rocket League, GOTY for many, and it was given away for free on plus. That is real value and many people are still playing it daily, millions in fact. I purchase a subscription with the understanding that I will not like the games every month, because they are trying to hit a wide variety of audiences. Anyone with the audacity to come in and whine about this either doesn't actually own the console or has their parents paying everything for them and don't understand the value of money or the value of the subscription. Kids.

@Reverandjames you could always just add them to your library without downloading them. That way if you ever decide in the future to give one a chance it will be there for free download without actually having to download it now. Food for thought.

@Tasuki And this is what the whiners do not understand. Adult gamers see the value in this and understand the free games are a bonus, a gesture by Sony for subscribing to their plus service. IMO the vocal minority on the internet (and it is a minority) that whines about this consist mainly of people that don't even own a Sony console, and they use this as ammunition in their childish console war. Whichever company is in first place will inevitably be attacked by those who support the consoles that are not as commercially successful.

@Comrade44 Did you own a ps3? Do you understand how plus worked then? It is the same now as it was then. First couple years you don't get the big nice AAA games, because the system is still selling fast and people will still gladly buy those games. As time goes on you will start to see those titles, if you don't like it then simply don't pay for the service, the games are a bonus you get for paying for online gaming, nothing more. The constant whining about it is childish and is the same every month. Noone is forcing you to pay for plus. If you want them to continue to be able to make great consoles and software then that means you want them to succeed, and to succeed they have to make money. Business 101. Do I like Sony? Yes. Are the plus prices fair for services rendered? Beyond fair, and now they let us vote on a title as well. The expectation that their should be AAA games every month is outrageous IMO. We just got HellDivers last month, somewhere around 30-40 brand new. A great game and considered by many far better than your low end AAA game that would be considered for plus. This is all opinion of course but I'd say in a year or so we will start to see AAA games that released in the early part of the ps4 life cycle on plus.

@Hordak of course, they are not giving them to you for paying for one month of service. If you choose to subscribe in the future all the games and save files from your previous plus downloads will still be there though.

@Goob Agreed, it works great. You can also lower the sound fx from the controller and the rumble feature. (Although I like the rumble!)

@xMEADx Absolutely never had this problem, in fact my phones seem to have this problem and I have never once had it with either of my ds4s. Unless of course you are jamming it in and out as a child would, smh.

@xMEADx 2 hours is a gross exaggeration, hell, it will last another hour of play time AFTER it prompts on the screen and says it needs to be charged. Don't spew misinformation, this crowd is to well informed.

@Comrade44 Teach them a lesson? Because it is apparently so bad to pay 50 dollars a year for 72 free games, endless discounts on games and movies, and play online? Sony has done mostly right this gen, and learned from their mistakes of the ps3. New people are still buying the ps4 in large numbers, and they will want games to play. Why give all the older AAA games away when there are still over a million new ps4 owners every month? Most of them will be buying older AAA games along with newer ones. Give it a year or so and we will probably see the AAA games come to plus, exactly like last gen.

@DrClayman Microsoft bungled the reveal of the X1 so badly that I truly believe they are trying to win back fans by giving way these perceived bigger titles. Sony doesn't need to, and lime someone said, if Sony does give away AAA games then people will be upset they bought a game that is now free. It's 50 freaking dollars a year, and has ALOT of value. I think people expect to much these days, wouldn't you agree?

I think something else should be added into this article that substantially helps the ds4 battery life. Set the light bar to the lowest setting and have your ds4 disconnect after 10-15 minutes of non use and you will literally never have an issue with battery life. Once I did these two things I haven't had any problems. Simply plug it in while your watching the TV. Mine seems to last ALOT longer than the 5 hors that is suggested in this article once you do the things I mentioned above.

@BAMozzy GOTY does seem like a stretch, but I bet it is in the top 5 regardless. I HOPE NMS is great enough to be goty, I want it to be lol. Also, FF15 looks to be gathering alot of hype and may just be a return to its dominant former self.

@BAMozzy Did not mean for it to come across as "bashing" as you say. People are so sensitive and PC these days. I asked that question because it has become common knowledge that the X1 has had trouble reaching and maintains the same graphical benchmarks as the ps4. It will be interesting to see how it performs as it pertains to the developers message that they WILL hit 60fps and 1080p on all consoles. If they can make it happen then it proves that other devs could have as well. Would also be interesting to know why so many devs didn't reach for parity in their games and launched them with the ps4 version being slightly superior, sometimes more, in most 3rd party games.

Just been a leak online from Czech retailers. They are reporting an actual cost of 475-490. This sounds about right but I think Sony will get if down to 450 for the US.

They will nail 60fps. Game has been in production for some time and they are a very talented team. The big question here is, will it be 1080p 60fps on the xbox1 consistently, and not jerk up and down depending on enemy clutter on the screen?

@FullbringIchigo Agree with this. Generally to start a game I want to walk around and scop the sites, after my character is power levelled and nigh on unbeatable, fast travel becomes a necessity lol.

@WanderingBullet Ouch, the no co-op actually hurts pretty bad in this case. My son and I spent A LOT OF time co-oping Dragons crown and I was hoping to do the same with this game. Big bummer that one and may be a no go at this point. I hate that because it looks absolutely fantastoc.

@Riririn Oh I know it did, Odin Sphere is a ps2 game if memory serves. Was just curious if it was sitar to vanillas last gsme, Dragons crown. It certainly LOOKS similar.
