@MrPeanutbutterz oh God let's not get the chuds started by bringing that up.
The reason these games sell are because they're basically reskinned Ubisoft games. Open world action rpgs made to appeal to everyone. Don't know why the other commenter was trying to equate like I said they didn't sell at all, just that Elden Ring and Breath of the Wild came out the same day to respective release.
I even have the collectors edition of Forbidden West, saying they're popcorn content.
@Venivik that's the tv for the family room since the sunroom is right next to it, the bedroom tv is a Phillips 974 Series OLED. The family room tv is mainly used by my grandparents who are staying with me so since it's not a daily driver I opted to save some and go for the OLED for the bedroom.
I have an LGQNED75 for single player games and a Dell 32 Plus 4K QD-OLED Monitor at my computer desk for competitive titles. No OLED is a crime in 2026.
@Leonardo_Turtles Sorry to @ you again. I'm on my lunatic playthrough for my final trophy. Try the side alley sweeper bot farm in the second area, takes about a minute to kill the 4 enemies, swap to the sticky bombs then hack the bot. 700 lim each time from the bot, about 150-200 from the mobs. I have everything maxed that doesn't require pure lunum, working on those. Just run out the door and return to shelter rinse and repeat. If you don't let it slip away, it doesn't despawn upon reload. Mass production array, interconnecting passage station, door right below in front, not the one on right. Averaging a minute, 23 seconds a run from loading.
@Leonardo_Turtles I swapped from the first to the tenth training sim, about ten seconds shorter and you get 50 more lim. Just toss a decoy down and hack the recycler, so much faster and more efficient.
I'm 13 hours in and the cleansing corruption difficult spike at the capital port is kicking my ass lol. Maybe I don't go for the platinum this time. Playing on standard and been farming mats in the first training exercise to max everything.
For everyone who complains about preservation: how many of you actually live in a non-privileged area without internet connectivity? Do you really expect a major conglomerate worth multi-billions and part of a systemic corporatocracy to shut down their servers anytime before we all return to the black? We'll be long dead and we're in the end stages of pushing videogames to their technological and graphical limits. PS5 titles will be available for a century, long after we pass. You're all just looking for things to be upset about when you should really be in more of a fervor politically.
"The workers all march to the beat of the drums, their spirits are broken, they have nowhere to run. ...They would kill one another just to disconnect."
What's up with the no profile picture randomly generated names like reddit does leaving antagonistic comments lately? Easy ignores but dead internet theory creeping in here too?
Tired of every company since COVID nickel and dining consumers for all they have. I cancelled my sub back in August '24, my Pro is only for single player games on my 75'.
Zelnick said all the way back in February in an interview with Variety that physical copies wouldn't be delayed. They also discussed content moderation in GTA Online.
Wish the apes woukd keep hodling their memestock and screw off, they've ruined this company. Also, Cohen deliberately ran Bath & Body Works into the ground much like he's doing to this company. Golden parachute by the end of the decade.
@LiamCroft Hollow Knight Silksong crashed both the PS Store and the eShop upon release. GTA VI is a much bigger title than that. https://archive.ph/ZdTY0 (Archive link of BBC article since it was paywalled.)
Granted that is actually downloading assets of a surprise released game but the same logic should apply for high volume traffic to a storefront regardless right?
Sorry, did we all forget the leaked internal demo of a machine-learning Aloy that could respond to whatever the player said? Ashley Burch even came out to comment on it.
Big fan of the science fiction themes of the franchise and was worried it was going to be Steam only since I want a box I can put on a shelf. Glad to see. If there's no western release, I suppose I'll use Play Asia like I did with Dead or Alive Venus Vacation.
So Schreier reported on something that was already aired on his publisher's channels. Remember seeing multiple interviews on different occasions when I was waiting in terminals. Where was this enthusiasm when he knew about the harassment at Blizzard and decided to keep his mouth shut to put it in his book? I'll bring this up every single time he's mentioned. He could have helped prevent further abuse and harassment those women suffered.
Edit: I deleted the insults so it's more likely this comment isn't removed.
Edit 2: I know he's said that he "didn't report because it would be irresponsible without corroboration" but that didn't seem to stop him from throwing Chris Avellone under the bus.
@AdamNovice Bunch of my PC focused friends are tired of open world collect-em-alls so I think it's just a different market. Couch gamers are more likely to play a 60 hour game like Horizon than someone sat at their desk in a gaming chair for maybe 4 hour sessions.
The series had potential but was held back by financial limitations. The original director who I was friends with left the company. Don't know whether I'll support this one.
I'll get it out of the way because this comes up every ***** time this game gets mentioned. This won't be a PS6 launch title. Timeframe wise it just doesn't work. Christmas 2027, calling it.
I got the PS4 edition for $14 at Black Friday at Walmart, may as well get this so it doesn't try to download the PS4 version everytime I put the disc in. Fix that Sony.
Buy physical games. Digital games should be cheaper anyways considering manufacturing processes aren't involved. My $80 disc drive on the PS5 Pro (upgraded from base before price hike) has paid for itself in a month with games I've borrowed from my library. Companies aren't your friend, brand loyalty is outdated.
@Scottyy Garland has spoken previously about how he wants to help usher in a new wave of Hollywood. I'm tired of seeing the same 20 actors in roles, more than happy to see experimentation with this and the new Zelda film.
@Brigurugi is this a Ubisoft copypasta? There's no way you're calling this game derivative. Capcom games never go on sale within the first year to $20. Did I fall for ragebait?
I don't quite see the point of this one when Ananta is on the horizon and is looming large over the gacha sphere. Especially when they won't have a character gacha, only cosmetics.

@LifeGirl Both launches were overshadowed by larger releases as well.

Re: 'This Policy Doesn't Reflect How Games Actually Work Today': Stop Killing Games Gets Big Win, But the Fight Is Far from Over
Honkai Star Rail and soon ZZZ both have physical discs as part of a collector's edition now. It's feasible when the games reach EOL.

Can you add a fifth poll option mentioning the Unabomber, because "meh" doesn't do justice to how angry people **should** be at this.
This is the same company with the "say company name to end ad" patent by the way.
