You can power up enough in this game, where you get to a point where you no longer need to play it as stealthily.

Interesting! I’m immediately thinking RedRiot193 is correct. As I recall the the mocap was decreased after Syndicate (for whatever reasons). When I get home, I’m going to take a look at those three games in motion and see.

Unfortunately I’m not unbiased as Unity is my favorite in the series - you just can’t beat its parkour AND combat - killer game. I even actually liked Arno and the way the Assassins/Templars conflict was presented through his relationship with Elise.

Absolute rubbish! Sony just pulled PC ports from it’s future portfolio. It’s learned its lesson from observing the success of the Switch. PS6 will come when Sony is darn good and ready to release it. MS is no threat AT ALL any longer. PSSR 2.0 hasn’t even released yet! PS5 Pro IS the new Sony console for the next 2-3 years.

And none of those concerns exist for those of us who play our Switch 2 docked 99% of the time and have the disposable income to where owning one is not an issue. Don’t get me wrong! I’m a PlayStation fanboy through and through, but the Switch 2 is a pretty cool little piece of kit.

Really? The cons are that it has the same shooting & looting mechanics that (due to this series) literally defined the genre? AND a personal preference about the UI design? I understand the performance knock - well deserved. But the other two points make no objective sense.

And in the pros you forgot to add in all the improvements in traversal mechanics. There are a lot of them.

The animus IS Assassin’s Creed - otherwise it’s just another adventure game.

Borderlands 3 and Baldur’s Gate 3 amaze me every time!

TLOU2 is also pretty damn impressive.

And the Spider-Man games! Horizon as well.

I've played every AC through Valhalla. I can't take another giant RPG collectathon. I WANT to play an AC game - but not like this anymore. Especially with NO modern day to speak of.

Yeah - might be the best game I’ve ever played. That game was so emotionally draining and the gameplay was so tight that when it was all over, I didn’t even pick up a controller for six months.

My premium lapses March 13 (or March 18 I guess with the five extra days we got for the outage). I’ve got no reason to continue PS plus.

It will not. Different audiences. There will be tons of people owning both systems. Exclusives still matter - especially console exclusives. Have you seen God of War Ragnarok? The Switch 2 will never be able to come close to that level of visual fidelity.

So, MS breaks things and Ubi pays the price? Does not seem fair…

Switch vs. PS4 - what interest does Sony have in continuing to develop for it all? Right. None. Switch - how many are still in use every day? And it’s Nintendo’s current gen system. This doesn’t seem that hard to figure out.

So many Nostradamuses on this website. It’s AC. It will sell despite the weird desires expressed here hoping it will fail. It won’t. I used to be a big AC fan. Played all on release from 2 forwards. Valhalla burned me out and I never finished it. Waiting for Mirage to drop in price and maybe I’ll try it.

For the 6th year in a row the show was on the same night as my kid's school’s holiday band concert. I’m glad BG3 won GOTY. Frankly it’s really the Game of the Generation so for for me.
