Honestly at first I wasn't really sure. Granted I never played Duscae bc I didn't want to spoil anything but it all felt a bit meh....then....I watched this most recent trailer, and I am fully aboard the hype train
It went from almost an afterthought to top 3 most wanted for this year in a matter of minutes. Can't wait to try the platinum demo and I think that was sheer brilliance on Squares part for gifting carbuncle with the completion of platinum. I really hope this is the game where Square gets back on track and I trust tabata-san. Fingers crossed.

@rjejr Completely agree, they won't split the user base twice. When I finally decide to get a 4k TV I will probably get a ps4k and let my 9 year old son have my ps4. The ps4 I gave him is getting a little long in the tooth. For me honestly, the psvr is a MUCH bigger deal.

For one, he said 10 million to be deemed a success, not to turn a profit. Who knows what they actually need to break even, maybe 5 million? I think ten million would be there "he'll yea we are raking it in" number. When you consider the ridiculous hype, the film, the anime, the toys, the collectibles, and the limited editions, I don't think they will have any trouble at all making this a success. I also think the overall goodwill FF14 has brought them will certainly help ff15.

I swear to god, if I hear an ounce of complaints after FINALLY getting a AAA title, I will lose my mind. Everyone whines every month about No AAA titles and then we get one and they still whine. This crowd.....wow

Just seems absolutely ridiculous that after being in development HELL for TEN YEARS that they would waste time and resources creating a stupid, gimmicky demo playing as a young version of the main character. Just why Square? Are you really that out of touch with what your fans want?

Did well in the land of the rising sun, no big surprise there. I have a feeling that most people interested in this for ps4 already purchased a ps4 for Bloodborne. Not sure if I want to dive into this. Having played all of the previous installments including Bloodborne, I am a little burnt on the From formula. The itch will come back I am sure, but right now I think I would rather jump into something like Ratchet and Clank for a little mindless fun.

@rjejr I know deep down that it's going to be a Holiday release schedule, it's to big of a franchise not to be. I just personally would like to have it sooner, but to be honest I am MUCH MORE hyped about No Man's Sky and Hyper Light Drifter.

I have felt hype and fatigue concerning this title multiple times over. It is time, and I swear if they put the release date for sometime in November or December I am going to lose my proverbial shet. Square, do wants right, release in June!

My son wants desperately wants me to buy this for him (I think he just wants to see how good chun-lis boobs look on the ps4). He played the heck out of part 4 and eventually got to the point where he could beat me on occassion.

@Grawlog The ps4 has a stronger gpu than the x1, that makes the difference.

@SteveButler2210 Your not missing much on the Witcher front my friend, imo much better to give your time to Fallout 4 and DS3.

Why does this sound insane? The series has become more futuristic with every installment it seems. It is the logical next step, and the vocal minority may complain, but the sales of Call of Duty have grown exponentially and the general public seems to like futuristic settings better than historical settings. Either way, I won't be trying it lol.

@EXP Haven't heard anything about a physical release bud, think this is just a quick money grab for capcom since the RE1 remaster did so well on ps4. I guess what I am trying to say is don't expect a physical copy.

Wish this was an option when it released, would have definitely went this route. As it stands now I mow through the wasteland on the hardest setting with ease, never needing VATS or power armor. The added weight to the ammo is really crucial IMO. Not bothered by the no fast travel option as I don't fast travel anyways. Even after all this not sure it will be enough to drag me back, after more than 200 hours I am thoroughly burnt, probably only far harbor will bring me back in.

@Bad-MuthaAdebisi You can say that again, there are SEVERAL games I am eagerly waiting to play on cinema mode, in fact that is probably how my psvr will be used the most. Even if we don't get a NMS VR edition, I will still happily it wearing the headset!

A shame they made the combat so easy. In some cases the combat is an afterthought to the story, and thus is toned down and made easy, but it seems the story may be a little convoluted. I am sure the art is fantastic though and if it weren't for a gigantic back log and even more on the way I would give this a shot.

I keep hearing London and Tokyo tossed around the web, but I am pretty certain there have already been open world type games in those cities, correct me if I'm wrong. I would rather they do a GTA World. Start out with one continent, then add more and more as DLC, so the customer can take it as far as they want. I guess this would probably be asking to much, but would be cool nonetheless.

I want to get this, but I have a sinking feeling that I am a little burnt out as far as From games go. I absolutely adored Demons, and Dark Souls, but part 2 put me off a bit. I definitely enjoyed the change of pace with Bloodborne, but by the end I was feeling the fatigue set in. Maybe I will wait for the inevitable re-release with all the DLC 6 months down the line or so.(What I really want to know is how much longer do we have to wait for Hyper Light Drifter on ps4!!!)

@KAPADO Yep, it is a never ending cycle, much the same way Bethesda treats Elder Scrolls. I am looking forward to GTA6, but I am MUCH MORE hyped for RDR2. That will be an instant classic for me.
@DR_coos74 What exactly wasn't finished with the game? Other than some story DLC that they eluded to releasing and havent, what else was missing from the initial release. I played through the entire game and never got to a point where I said Hey, can't believe they just didn't finish the story here.

I like them all equally and in different ways. The first seems to be more focused on the action, second and third on story.

Just watched that 15 minute UC4 trailer yesterday. That thing is action packed to the gills, and I can honestly see it being a HUGE seller, even pre than the titles before it. The production values are just through the roof, in Naughty Dog we trust.

@get2sammyb Do you think that they will have all the best psvr games exclusive to the ps4k? I am worried that you won't get the real vr experience unless you upgrade to the better ps4 as well. I hope not because I already have my camera, move controllers, and a vr headset preordered, but I am not currently in the market for a 4k tv. (My brava runs GREAT). I guess I am worried that it won't be good unless you use the ps4k with the psvr.

The only thing that will upset me about this is if they come out before launch of the psvr and tell us we need the ps4k for full psvr capability. Especially since they are selling psvr on the idea that the ps4 we have now is enough. I have my camera and my two move controllers and am definitely getting a psvr headset but would hate if I only get to use it in a limited manner unless I upgrade to the NEW ps4. For me psvr is far more Interesting than a new ps4 with slightly better graphics and needs a 4ktv to truly do it justice. Then I will have to buy a 4ktv as well.

I am riding it all the way until it jumps off the tracks! Got my limited edition preordered and am counting down the days!

@Johnnycide This is a great idea. Have a normal service that offers online gaming and the indy stuff we get now for the price we pay now. Offer a premium version for 20 or so more a year and throw a AAA title in there every month.

I had never played any of the uncharted games and I owned a ps3 since its launch. Picked up the Drake Collection and I must say I really enjoyed the first one and thought it held up a lot better than what most claim. I definitely like them all but part 1 has a certain charm to it. Have fun!!

@JesWood13 Exactly this, would rather just have a brand new Turok instead of an HD port. I am sure it will find an audience though.

Never gave this one a spin back in the PS2 days, but I remember my brother absolutely loving it. If I can get over the visuals I may give it a spin.

@get2sammyb You may want to revise your rules and policies page as it pertains to communities and comment posting. Nowhere does it state that multiple replies are not allowed and that is what led to my confusion of the moderators actions and what I felt was over zealous behavior.

This would help others IMO because I am sure there are many like me that read replies strictly through mobile email, as that is how I am notified when I have been replied to. In some instances you can receive multiple replies from a single post.

If you reply to each email seperately, as I was doing due to ease and timely response, it posts comments in a row on the comment section related to those messages. In many ways this seems like a deficiency of the messaging system itself, not the messenger. I tried to explain this initially, but was rejected full stop without any explanantion.

Sorry to air these grievances here but the contact page does not work properly on mobile either. It is possible that the wording used in the communities guideline was meant to convey this very issue, but I didn't interpret it that way and I certainly read the guidelines over a year ago before becoming a regular commenter. Thx

@get2sammyb I have tried to use the contact link provided on your home page SEVERAL times as you requested to converse about my banned account. Unfortunately EVERY time I have tried it displays a prompt stating I must fill in all of the fields, name, email, and message. I have filled them all in several times in several different ways and it still will not work, even with different email accounts. If you don't want me to comment here anymore that is fine, just let me know, but I am assuming your link is either broken or something is wrong with it.
