Tiddlywinks 2016 PS4 PlayStation 4 Plus Sony 1

Many of you may still be stinging from April's PlayStation Plus update, but while those games have yet to actually be given away, rumour has it that part of May's line-up has already leaked. Twitter user and industry insider Knack Gamer, who's been known to reveal accurate info in the past, has hinted that Tiddlywinks 2016 may be joining the Instant Game Collection starting next month. Blimey!

A tiddly, tiny leak

This tallies with what we heard while ordering a battered sausage and a can of Vimto at our local chippie, so, while we recommend approaching this report with a pinch of salt and vinegar, you can pretty much bank on it. From what we understand, Islington-based indie outfit Old Chum is making the game. The dev's located above the Subway in Chapel Street Market.

According to Knack Gamer, the title will offer photorealistic visuals, online multiplayer, and a Platinum Trophy. Moreover, there's talk that the release will be patched to incorporate full PlayStation VR support when the headset launches in October. We've heard that you can expect three playing surfaces: the garden, the dining table, and the toilet.

While we suspect that many of you will be disappointed to learn of the inclusion of another indie game in May, we're secretly hopeful that Tiddlywinks 2016 could catch on like Rocket League last year. And even if it doesn't, given that this is only one of the two free new-gen titles, there's still hope that Knack may finally join the Instant Game Collection in May. Make it happen, Sony.
