Hrmm tempting, I may delay my August trip to September, so I can partake.

I'm sure it's a very pretty trailer, but won't be watching it.

New plan is for me to wait a few months for patches...hopefully playing it by September.

Unfortunately when it comes to certain story/plot heavy games that I know will have rampant spoilers, I tend to make exceptions (FF16, Spidey 2, etc).

Embargo debate aside, I'm happy we finally have official confirmation that the game is coming to PS5.

Not surprising at all sadly. I feel sorry for gamers that spent hundreds or thousands of dollars on this free game.

@PenguinLtd They did recently confirm Horizon 3 is in the works...everything else is either a rumor or untitled.

Personally I plan on downgrading to Essentials once my subscription lapses.

I never play any of the games they offer, and the Classics would be cheaper to just buy separately.

I'm in no hurry for them to announce or release GTA 6.

I still haven't played GTA 5 yet, despite owning it on THREE different platforms now lol...

I haven't bought this yet, waiting for a $30 New sale or free with PS Plus.

If they ever do a retro red or blue design, I may be tempted.

Hopefully we'll get an update during the rumored September Showcase, assuming that's real.

@Shstrick I think that's just a special case due to a mix of Day Gone's poor reception, and them wanting to bring over the original Syphon Filters before announcing a sequel or remake.

@starbuck2212 Only reason why I haven't played the demo yet, I am not playing thru the Prologue twice for any trophies.

I'll need to wait for reviews before committing, and will prob still be waiting a few years for a $20 New sale or free with PS+ either way.

Happy to hear the upcoming improvements are not gated behind purchase of the story DLC.

I'd only be interested if there was a story mode.

Oh 100% agreed! Time for us to ditch PS4 and only release games on PS5 now. Hopefully e3rd party devs/teams will ditch PS4 by Mid to Late 2024.

I still haven't bought this game on PS5 yet, waiting for a $20 New sale or cheaper.

Makes perfect sense to me, we should be expecting these games to take as long as 4-5+ years now.

I am very doubtful about any future LOTR games released by them, after the trainwreck that was Gollum.

I haven't played it yet, and with the full release being so soon I just don't see the point anymore.

Especially since I won't be buying the game day one anymore, going to focus on my massive backlog instead.

They better not shut down the studios that worked on Destroy All Humans, SpongeBob, Darksiders, and Tomb Raider.

There are probably more studios I'm not thinking of, but those are the ones that matter the most to me.

@Korgon I always found it crazy how quickly they were acquiring game studios...hopefully all of the people working at these impacted studios are able to move on and find other work.

@Tharsman @Daan6661 @PegasusActual93 I grew up loving the Jedi content mostly and ignoring everything else.

After Clone Wars cartoon though, I have come to appreciate alot of non-Jedi content as well.

I have mostly loved all the various Disney+ spinoffs and recent video games, as an example.

@ApostateMage Same here for me! Though I'm honestly skeptical of Starfield after what happened with Redfall. Yes I know different game developers, but you can't blame me lol.

Heck, I may take the time to replay the older games beforehand, who knows?

@freddquadros I sadly don't see myself paying full price for Mirage though, I'm still on AC3 in the series.

Definitely next year during Black Friday though ^_^.

I've never played the original game before, but am slightly curious about the Remaster.

I'll def give it a whirl if it ever comes to PS+, or drops below $15 New.

They dumped alot more story into this trailer, color me surprised.

Same here, 100% agreed! I'll always respect publishers that allow development teams to take their time to deliver a video game in a better functioning state.

I would say fully polished, but we both know it's gonna need a Day 1 patch no matter what, with future patches releasing over time. That's just how modern gaming is now, and I've become used to it lol.

I've never play an Ace Attorney game before, but am happy for my friends that are fans.

Maybe one day I'll give this franchise a try.

That said, I am very happy it's a brand new original IP, we need more of those and less sequels/prequels/remakes imo.
