I'm a bit confused as to why everyone here is calling the 3 RPG games the 'open world ones'. Every assassin's creed is open world aside from some spin-offs. The series is THE open world franchise to a lot of people, for good or bad reasons.

@nomither6 Infinite Warfare is absolutely one of the best campaigns! Personally on par with the original MW and MW2 campaigns imo.

6/10 seems a bit harsh considering the review seems to be very positive of it. Well I've pre ordered it regardless as I loved the first game for the 8 or so hours it took to platinum it and more of the same but with online to mess about with friends seems like it'll be well worth it!

I played 2018 GoW back when it came out and thought it was ok, so I'm definitely not excited to play Ragnorok and if I do get it, it'll be a couple of years from now. I'll probably try to replay 2018 to see if I enjoy it more because I'm indifferent about the game, I didn't really dislike anything in it so maybe I just missed what everyone loved about it?

@KundaliniRising333 if its 4 hours then that's roughly more than half the length of most Resi games

@playstation1995 I don't think everyone does. I'm not particularly excited for GoW Ragnorok and will definitely be getting Sonic Frontoer though day one.

@trev666 I would be fine with triple the file size if I don't have to play that abysmal multiplayer again

@carlos82 I agree, God of War wasn't a bad ge by any means, but I definitely don't understand it being seen as one of the best of all time. Also Bloodborne and Demon's Souls only at #15 and #14!?

51 hours into the game and I'm still not really sure how far I am from the end, the activity card on PS5 says I'm 33% of the way through, but that only updates when you kill a major boss.

@LieutenantFatman Glad I'm not the only one noticing the similarities to Helldivers. I love that game and really hope that this game can fill the Helldivers shaped hole in my heart I've had for several years now.

@HotGoomba Hey, I actually quite enjoy playing WWE 2K Battlegrounds with some friends. It's definitely not the greatest game in existence but it's pretty fun.

Decided to started another playthrough of Demon's Souls but ended up beating the game the same day, so I'll probably play Dark Souls 2 through again now then

I love to listen to music or podcasts when doing another Dark Souls playthrough, although there are some bosses that I pause spotify to hear the boss themes of because they're just that good

@xyopic As a massive souls fan, I've got to tell you that Lords of the Fallen is by far the genre has to offer. Whoever told you that it was a good entry point must of been joking because it's not very good at all

@Milktastrophe Overcooked can be played single player with one controller, where you press L1 to swap between to characters. I also don't see why online leaderboards being shut down for Hitman 2 would be a big deal at all

The first mission of the game is available for free at all times, sort of like a demo and the rest of the game is bought in add-ons. Very strange way to release a game but certainly not free

@kingbreww If you think that Overcooked is a 'time filler' game then you've evidently never played it and seen incredibly little of it too. It is easily BY FAR one of the best co op games I've ever played in my life. It's pretty good in single player still, but admittedly not as brilliant.

@Milktastrophe Only predator hunting grounds is multiplayer only. Overcooked is designed for co-op and is best experienced that way, but is still fun by yourself. Hitman 2 doesn't have multiplayer. None of these 3 games have had their servers shut down and I don't think Hitman 2 even has any. Maybe for leaderboards?

@thefourfoldroot Although Odyssey is a perfectly fine starting point, if you're not a fan of stealth then playing the earlier AC games shouldn't worry you. Despite the series being branded as a stealth series and the entire point of it being that you're an assassin, I'd say that all the games up until Unity aren't stealth games; they're action games with some extremely light stealth elements thrown in. There are a couple of mandatory stealth segments in each game though.

@Jaz007 I've had a ps4 since January 2014, so I've gotten every ps plus month except for the first 2. The first few months were ok but still way worse than what we usually get nowadays

@Jaz007 It was definitely way worse on average when they gave out 6 games. Nearly all ps plus months were bad until about 2018

The graphics and animations look insane, but aside from that I don't see much of a reason to buy day 1. Hopefully it will be free for ps plus at some point as it looks interesting but not to the point where I'd spend money on it.

The amount of people ***** on BO4 here makes me believe no one here has played it. Is it amazing? No it certainly isn't but it almost objectively isn't bad and even if it isn't your type of game it's still a well made game that is very popular.

@Mintie Resident Evil 5 is a very solid and fun co op game and Resident Evil 6 is so spectacularly bad that its amazing to play through in co op with a friend.

@blacklivesmatter To be honest I thi k that 5.5/10 or there about is quite fair for Legion, and this is coming from a huge fan of Ubisoft games. I even loved WD1 and WD2 so much that I had pre ordered the £75 a gold edition of Legion since I assumed I would love it, but am now wishing I had waited until it was below £30 or £20

@SterlingEyes From Software games are my favourite games of all time, but I've been putting off GoT because the masses seem to love it and the last time I played a game that everyone loved (GoW) I was massively disappointed. I was just going to wait for GoT to be under £20 but you say its got similar combat to Souls games? I've seen gameplay and it doesn't look like it does but I'd like to hear why you compared From's games to GoT

@Daan6661 What do you mean that spiderman is the only exclusive? Did you somehow forget about Demon's Souls Remake?

A month ago there were no From Software avatars, now there's too many to choose from and unfortunately I can't have them all on at once

I've had the same Batman avatar for the past 5 years now, but I instantly changed the Lady Maria from Bloodborne as soon as I got home

@Hampie I have grown up on the Dark Souls franchise and I don't think I'd be able to play the game if X was sprint and dodge

I got 1/10 and that one was a complete guess of the Odd world one because the only one I've watched more than once is the Demon's Souls trailer, but that one was probably the hardest out of all them anyway.

For me it's
1) Dark Souls Remastered
2) Dark Souls II Scholar of the First Sin
3) Dark Souls III
4) Sekiro
5) Bloodborne

After that it's hard to say exactly what order but I know that Watch_Dogs 2, Steep, TLoU P1 and 2 and the Batman Arkham and Assassin's Creed games would be in top 20

All of these were guesses except for the Alienation one since I like that game and Hhelldivers, Gone Home since I know the premise of it and the From Soft one may have been the easiest question on any quiz I've ever done in my entire life since I'm a massive From fan

@Neolit I still don't understand why you wouldn't just spend literally 30 seconds to aquire like £80 worth of games for free. You may have friends that pick up the games a few months or years down the line and you would have the games to play with them.

@Neolit Why would you not add the games to your library. Even though I think both are worth playing at least for a few hours, I can understand not bothering with installing them. I can't understand why you wouldn't at least add them to your library in case you want to play them at some later date

Can't believe that after the awful month we just had, people are complaining that we're getting an objectively good game. All the people saying cod is bad have probably never played one.

Well I already have Siege, the first Evil Within is one of the worst games I've ever played so I don't think I'll bother with the sequel and get even looks like it'd be interesting for about 5 minutes. PS Now has became significantly worse in the past 7 or so months because they used to add about 10 games each month with most being Ps3 games, but now it's 1 or 2 ps4 games that are either meh or bad and one good game that's only available for a limited time. I got a subscription to play last gen games that ic ant play anymore due to not owning my 360 anymore, but am seriously considering cancelling unless they either add more than 3 games each month, stop adding limited timed games or begin adding Ps3 games again. Literally the only reason I have it anymore is so that I can play the last gen Sonic games.

@DahassialPressX @DahassialPressX Where exactly did you meet these whiney people? If it was hate mail you received then I doubt they're fans of the games and are just playing it the one time. I frequent every major soulsborne subreddit and the only part of the entire community I don't like is the group of people who hate unnecessarily on DS2, but aside from that everyone is very nice and helpful.

@FinneasGH Nether of them are horror games. And aside from the name of DARK souls and the dark being a big theme, it isn't really dark in a disturbing sense

@General_Spiller One is a JRPG about melee combat and one is a parkour game with guns. They're literally not even the same genre what the hell do you have to complain about!?

@Nakatomi_Uk Sonic Forces is a lot more fun than Team Sonic Racing, I have platinum them both and whilst I sometimes randomly play through sonic forces (it's about an hour long without cutscenes so is quite fun to speed run) I immediately deleted TSR and will most likely never play it again

@RenanKJ Well I just worked it out and I played games for 29.32% of the year, so I think that you're fine with 5%

@nessisonett I literally created an account just to tell you how I do it because your method seems very uncomfortable. I use my thumb fully on r3, index finger does X,o,square and triangle, middle finger on R1 and R2. I will use my index finger for attacking if I'm locked on though.
