If I get this game I won't even finish it. I'll be too busy staring at and appreciating the futuristic aesthetics and shinyness of shiny metallic buildings and lights and stuff. I'm like a magpie and get distracted by shiny things in games, like staring at the ingots in my inventory on Skyrim.

I prefer the design of the Xbox Series X. That just looks like a badly made ps4 cake.

The only gambling and surprise mechanics in my gaming is console mods for Skyrim on Xbox. Only idiots buy loot boxes.

Hey, at least Sony isn't embracing microtransactions like Nintendo from what I've read with pokemon. Be happy about that. I own an Xbox One and have never been bothered about games going to pc. I also have a ps4 but other than Earth Defence Force I don't really know what other games I want for it as they all seem too emo and weeby for me personally. If anything the extreme fanboys will have less things to brag about.

Minecraft was on ps4 before the acquisition so it makes sense it's still on ps4. Highly doubt Sea of Thieves will come to ps4, as Microsoft already said don't expect anymore ports of first party games anytime soon. Also agree with the first post lol!

'For the players' eh? Doesn't really affect me as the only online shopping I do is through the Ps4 and Xbox One stores via the consoles for game downloads. But this was one of the things that pizzed me off about Xbox with US only stores or competitions to win one off Xbox consoles (although seeing as Xbox is murican that's understandable). But from what I've read ps4 and Xbox sales were similar in america, with ps4 a couple million (with another couple million on top) ahead. I thought ps4 sold more in Europe. Way to shaft the fans if that was the case.

I have all three Uncharted games on ps3 (finished the first two, bought the third last week but haven't started it yet). Bought them all late so missed out on the multiplayer and I'm not interested in getting the remasters as they lack the multiplayer. Got goat simulator on Xbox One.

Really wish there were cheaper ps4 controllers with Xbox style analogue sticks. I keep activating the touchpad when playing Earth Defence Force 5 because it's so sensitive, even without actually touching it.

I've only used plus to download wipeout and get access to a cloud save when I swapped a fat ps4 for a slim ps4. Still new to ps4 as I've mainly played on Xbox this gen and couldn't afford a ps4 until this year (which was pre owned but beggars can't be choosers).

Every time I decide to put the ps4 on there always seems to be a firmware update. Going through a bit of a slump so haven't got round to using it much since I got it.

Better have Earth Defence Force 5 on sale. And why is Iron Rain 50 squid?

I own both Fatbox One and ps4 so don't really care haha. Also find it funny how hardcore ps4 fanboys brag about third party exclusives then cry when a third party game is a console exclusive on anything but a ps4. Saltier than the water in Sea of Thieves.

I was hoping to buy Earth Defence Force 5 when I next get paid but this has put me off slightly. Can't even buy physical in the uk as I've been told it's digital only💩

I remember playing Team Buddies on ps1. Wish I never swapped it. It was cheap back then. Now it's £100 upwards online and I never shop online (not counting the closed digital ecosystems of Xbox and ps4 through the console).

@Flaming_Kaiser I meant that I wasn't aware full stop that you could copy saves from a ps4 onto a usb.

This is the only game I'm really looking forward to as I'm not much of a gamer nowadays and I've never been a hardcore gamer (8 hours session on FF8 years ago doesn't count). Now that I have a ps4 I'm going to buy it for that after seeing how much better No Man's Sky looks compared to my Xbox.

@Flaming_Kaiser I wasn't aware you could take an ordinary usb to copy save data as I've been playing on Fatbox One, which you couldn't do on that.

Do you have to play the previous games to know what's going on? Never bought the originals on ps2, and only got a ps3 and ps4 this year but not many games because I don't game as much as I used to (even though I hope I never lose the urge to play games). Also I can't believe how cheap God of War is to buy, along with those other PlayStation hits games. Only recent Microsoft game (that I'm aware of) that cheap on Xbox is Crackdown 3 at £20 because it flopped, and that's within a year of release lol.

@Topov81 If it doesn't ask me to reformat it I'll try that next time. Got a CV on a usb that I've not updated for years and didn't want to risk losing it. Plus I never knew you could do that with ps4 (I'm sure you can't on Xbox with a usb).

Only just got my first ps4 this year (played 360 then moved onto Fatbox One). Got a pre owned fat ps4 first but it was so noisy I hardly played it so I traded it in this month for a slim one which I think looks great for a console, and it's miles quieter.
On topic, having to pay £6.99 just so I could download my cloud save for Earth Defence Force 4.1 (main reason I wanted a ps4 lol) really *urinated me off.
