The European PlayStation Store gets a mammoth January sale, and now it's North America's turn to get in on the action. Dubbed the Holiday sale, the US Store's gargantuan offer includes over 1,500 PS4 games and add-ons, which is frankly ludicrous. What's more, this is only "Round 1" of the sale, with even more discounts to come at the start of January.
It's hard to pick highlights when there are so many good games going cheap, but we'll give it a go. Some of this year's top games, such as Death Stranding, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, and Devil May Cry 5, are included, plus blockbusters from previous years can be found here too. Far Cry 5, Monster Hunter: World, and Red Dead Redemption 2 are all reduced, and there's way more besides.
Some smaller games that are well worth a look include Superhot, Erica, Blasphemous, and lots of others.

Lots of good deals in there. Notable discounts for games that at still hot from recent release like Death Stranding, Jedi: Fallen Order, and COD but also some deep discounts on older titles. Might pick up Life is Strange 2 Complete Season for $19. Or if anyone wants 3 easy platinums (not sure why Season 2 gypped us out of a plat with only a gold 😒) and 4 full seasons of games for $19, The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series is on sale for about the price of just a single season.
A pretty meh sale overall. Many of the discounts are just 30% or less, and there are practically no further discounts for PS+ users. Seriously, what’s the point of discounting Astro Bot 10% which amounts to 2 dollars?
I picked up Erica for $6 and gifted it to my girl’s account since she likes those types of games.

@Th3solution - Yeah 4 entire seasons plus Michonne, that's an awful lot of TWD for a single platinum trophy!
This is the type of deals that will keep people buying games long after the lifecycle of a console is over.
1.Intices the userbase to try out new games because they are cheap on PSN which will broaden their taste
2.Keep said userbase entertained and loyal on said console brand
3.Push sales of digital distribution even more
I personally prefer physical when I can but sometimes that deals are so good on PSN for games I never bought/played yet.
