Gotta give Atari props, they've been making some really positive changes lately.
I think this sounds great!

This is what the PS5 Pro actually is, a self playing PS5 console.
Original PS5 owners have the option of using the analogue option, where a Sony employee wearing a black shirt with 'PS5 Pro' in bold white will appear at your door. They will then finish the game for you, no matter how long it takes.
The PS5 Pro is apparently a massive hit with the games review media, who like as little gameplay as possible when reviewing games, with many praising the potential for increased future soy latte consumption as "slayin it bro".

As if Ubisoft + modern Star Wars wasn't enough of a turn off, the game just looks crap let's be honest. The animation & lip syncing looks straight out of Thunderbirds or Team America, its so bad it's hilarious!
But are these crazy priced tiers perhaps the result of having to shell out for the Star Wars licence? Because I have zero sympathy for these moronic companies saying games cost too much to make, then announcing 1000 Marvel & Star Wars games. Pardon the rant, it's been a day!

Ugh. This is why big budget western games suck now. Marvel, open world, Marvel, Star Wars, open world, etc.
Its just so boring! Thank god for the Japanese devs, they've been bringing it this gen.

Started Dragon's Dogma 2, which is good so far. Defeating an orge by hurling a bolder at his ass has been a highlight (that slow motion death animation was just hilarious!)
Also started Helldivers 2 co-op, which was also a hilariously fun time!
On top of that played through Cotton Fantasy a few times.
Haven't played this much in a while, it's been awesome!

I'm looking forward to Sand Land, looks like alot of fun. It should have a spot on the podium, rather than the re-release of Xenoverse 2, that's just odd lol

Most of which I believe will flop & destroy studios. All to chase a trend that died 5 years before development even began.

LBP will return, as a gritty 3rd person, over the shoulder action adventure. Sack boy will team up with Sack son on an epic journey to retrieve a sacred sack lunch, where they learn as much about each other as they do about themselves. (Mature rating, with a very high thread count)

My insane belief is that all these random superhero games are going to be costly failures. I hope I'm right, it'd be nice to see some creativity back in the AAA scene. Throw all the Star Wars games in the pile too, ugh....

I've spent the last few weeks playing through the Yakuza/Like A Dragon games I hadn't played leading up to Infinite Wealth. I finished 6 last night, which was fantastic, one of the best in the series.
Next up is The Man Who Erased His Name, which currently on sale, so that timed out perfectly! Very keen to start it this weekend

Really enjoyed the first season, very keen to see what Sweet Tooth & Stewie get up to in the next!

@Casco you're not wrong. We're already seeing the results of a struggling Xbox: that being the most uncreative, boring era of Playstation yet. No fight in em at all, just the bare minimum, if that. Sony needs MS (or some kind of actual competition) to light a fire under Herman Hulst's ass already!
As more the article itself, I believe there's a difference in wanting something to become a reality, & actually having a plan in motion. But, once again it's like shooting fish in a barrel here.

Or you could just wait, & play the original in the meantime.

It's decent, but flawed, & pretty clunky at times (that combat, oh boy!), & I'm quite sure the AI in the old PS2 MGS games was better than what's here!
The world is fun to traverse & the soundtrack can be incredible at times, & I'm enjoying my time for the most part. But I see myself forgetting it the second the credits begin to roll.

Enough with this nonsense. Make another Rayman or South Park game if you want something useful to do

I think a Big Trouble In Little China DLC pack would be perfect for an MK game. (Unlike the randoms they just keep throwing in there). Jack Burton, Wang , Lo Pan, that guy who was clearly the inspiration for the original Raiden, that big monster thing that hides in Jack's truck at the end. They could get the original voice cast, man it would fit the MK universe like a glove!
