Astro Bot is the shining light this holiday season. The rest, despite a couple of somewhat interesting titles, is quite bland & predictable it's depressing!

@jFug To be the fairest, the PS4 version of DR1 is perfectly playable on PS5.

I'm looking forward to Visions Of Mana, Life Is Strange & Astrobot.

E3 was the *****. This is just *****

Remember when the PS3 had multiplayer experiences such as Starhawk, with air, land, & ground battles occurring at the same time. Now with the power of the PS5, we get a bog standard 5v5 shooter. No destruction, no variety, just a bunch of wise cracking potatoes slapping into each other. Its a pretty sad really

Nope. It's all rubbish compared to the old e3 shows.
Now we have Geoff's shows which feel like a mix of the nickelodeon kids choice awards and the home shopping network & abysmal state of plays.
I could never understand why so many were happy for e3 going away, hope you're happy, I blame you!

I recently finished Evil West & can definitely recommend it. Robocop is a no brainer at that price, excellent game.
C'mon everyone, treat yourself to something fun & different instead of the usual Final Fantasy, Spiderman, Assassin's Creed boring bloatfests. You deserve it!

The Max Max game was great fun, tear assing around the desert in a beast, great stuff!

Its easily the best looking game I've ever played. Absolutely incredible, & its nice to see the Series X flex its muscle finally. I've enjoyed what I've played so far, it's quite an experience.

Eh I'm not interested because I think Ubisoft & most big western developed games are just ***** these days.

This is what the PS5 Pro actually is, a self playing PS5 console.
Original PS5 owners have the option of using the analogue option, where a Sony employee wearing a black shirt with 'PS5 Pro' in bold white will appear at your door. They will then finish the game for you, no matter how long it takes.
The PS5 Pro is apparently a massive hit with the games review media, who like as little gameplay as possible when reviewing games, with many praising the potential for increased future soy latte consumption as "slayin it bro".

As if Ubisoft + modern Star Wars wasn't enough of a turn off, the game just looks crap let's be honest. The animation & lip syncing looks straight out of Thunderbirds or Team America, its so bad it's hilarious!
But are these crazy priced tiers perhaps the result of having to shell out for the Star Wars licence? Because I have zero sympathy for these moronic companies saying games cost too much to make, then announcing 1000 Marvel & Star Wars games. Pardon the rant, it's been a day!

Ugh. This is why big budget western games suck now. Marvel, open world, Marvel, Star Wars, open world, etc.

Started Dragon's Dogma 2, which is good so far. Defeating an orge by hurling a bolder at his ass has been a highlight (that slow motion death animation was just hilarious!)
Also started Helldivers 2 co-op, which was also a hilariously fun time!
On top of that played through Cotton Fantasy a few times.
Haven't played this much in a while, it's been awesome!

I'm looking forward to Sand Land, looks like alot of fun. It should have a spot on the podium, rather than the re-release of Xenoverse 2, that's just odd lol

I'm sure the licensing fees for all the Marvel, DC and Star Wars games in development weren't cheap either.
Most of which I believe will flop & destroy studios. All to chase a trend that died 5 years before development even began.

@get2sammyb perhaps you could buy it for a friend? That way you get the thrill of the bargain, but don't have to worry about sacrificing any of your time playing it!

LBP will return, as a gritty 3rd person, over the shoulder action adventure. Sack boy will team up with Sack son on an epic journey to retrieve a sacred sack lunch, where they learn as much about each other as they do about themselves. (Mature rating, with a very high thread count)

My insane belief is that all these random superhero games are going to be costly failures. I hope I'm right, it'd be nice to see some creativity back in the AAA scene. Throw all the Star Wars games in the pile too, ugh....
