Re: PS5's Regional Pricing Switch Has Players Concerned Yet Again, Here's What's Happening

@get2sammyb One thing that was reported on Mexican media is that consumers "sued" PlayStation to the local equivalent of the FTC because they charge games in USD+tax instead of local currency, like Xbox and Nintendo. I believe they started putting an announcement on the store that prices would now be in Mexican Pesos about a month ago (with no change in prices still). I think, without intending to, Mexican people forced Sony's hand regarding pricing, and now the PS3 and Vita store will close because they don't want to have to update a 10+ year old store with new prices. That such a shame. People wanted something similar to the cheaper prices Xbox and Nintendo offer, but it's not that much better tbh, by the looks of it.

Also, the main problem in Mexico is that the new exchange rate is still more expensive than the current rate. 1 USD is about 17-18 MXN. Maybe people with money in their wallet will get games cheaper than before... but it still more expensive.

Re: E3 2019: Final Fantasy VII Remake's 'First Game' Takes Place in Midgar Alone

Come on, this is silly. I remember them saying FF VII was too big to remake and it had to be made on multiple episodes. That's stupid. They've had a horrible production cycle and them releasing a two disc FIRST part of the game is them justifying development hell and get enough revenue and to keep investors happy for the next part. Cyberpunk 2077 will probably be a gigantic game, just like Witcher 3 and you won't see them releasing an unfinished product. Now Square will sell $60 dollars of a first part of a remake that took just one game! That's BS if you ask me. You didn't see them pull that sh*t with FFXV, did we? They don't want the mockery nor the same awful situation they had with that game.
