Turns out that rumour was right -- Sony's annual Days of Play sale is set to return from 25th May. In just a few days' time, the company will be bringing prices crashing down on all kinds of PlayStation products, and it's always worth checking out what's on offer.
In Europe, retail deals kick off from this coming Monday, including PSVR bundles for as little as £199.99, reductions on select software such as Death Stranding and Nioh 2, and 30 per cent off both PS Plus and PS Now subscriptions. These deals run through to 8th June. Over in the US, similar deals on physical products come slightly later, starting from 3rd June and ending on 17th June.
Of course, PlayStation Store will bring price cuts on a wide range of digital PS4 games, and this will be active in both regions from 3rd to 17th June. Finally, North American fans can use the discount code 'DAYSOFPLAY20' on the PlayStation Gear store for 20 per cent off.
You can check out more details for Europe and North America through the respective links. Keep one eye on Push Square, though, as we'll be sure to share all the relevant links as and when they arise.

For the love of God, please drop the price of the Sega Genesis Classics collection on the PS Store! That thing has been sat in my wishlist forever and I've never seen a price drop on it since launch.
Please and thanks 🙏🏽
Maybe this confirms the June 4th PS5 reveal date rumors are true? Hopefully they announce it later today.
@Turismo4GT
Not sure what region you're in, but it does go down occasionally on the UK store:

@Zombie9ers How have you come to that conclusion?
Question: my psnow is ending right at the start of june but I wanted to get advantage of this deal, if I wait until 3rd of June will I have problems with my PSnow games?
I heard somewhere there was a problem with losing access to games if you let the sub go out or something
seriously they drop this around pay day
i actually wanted to save my money for once Sony, i need to save for a PS5
@LiamCroft the Days of Play event traditionally has started the same time as Sony's E3 press conferences in the past if I'm not mistaken. Since there is no E3 this year (not that they were planning to attend anyways) I would think Sony would want to line up this event with the PS5 unveiling.
@Zombie9ers Days of Play for 2018 started on 8th June. Sony's E3 press conference for 2018 was on 12th June.
Days of Play for 2017 for 2017 started on 9th June. Sony's E3 press conference for 2017 was on 13th June.
There's no real tradition here.
Hopefully some stuff in my wishlist gets a price drop. Some of those games probably have moss underneath from sitting there for so long.
@phil_j @ArmyofOne thanks for the heads up, I have a US PSN account but I'm based in the Caribbean. I check my wishlist every so often and it's always listed at $29.99. Not sure why I never have seen the price drop if there have been in the US PS Store.
@LiamCroft Well they have held their conference while the promotion has been running. I've always considered the promotion a E3 timed event. I certainly wouldn't say it suggests a specific date but might hint of something happening while the sale is going.
In the last 5 years I cannot remember discount codes to be dropped for European region, however the USA department seems to handle them quite often.
@LiamCroft Still, they've been pretty close to eachother, so it makes sense for them to assume there will be an event sometime during the promotion.
My ps+ is up at the end of next month so that works out well for me. And I will always look through a new sale list on psn so I'm curious what games will be on offer.
My PS+ subscription is up at the end of the month, so I'll be getting more of that. As for games, Horizon Zero Dawn and Days Gone I'll be looking out for.
@Jslade Days Gone will be on sale physical for £15.99 according to the PS blog, I might be tempted at that price too
My PS+ subscription runs out on June 7th so I am more than happy for this sale
@ArmyofOne I might grab psvr as well
Days gone for 15.99? Sold
Pretty underwhelming blog post by Sony though. If there is more on sale, juat tell us whats included. Im hoping for a sale on a new headset.
I agree with others on here that PS5 will be unveiled at some point during this promotion
I've been holding off from getting Days gone for a while. I know 15.99 is a steal but is it worth my time?
The annual internal battle of 'should I or shouldn't I?' in regards to PSVR begins.
@Gamer83 Astrobot, blood and truth, iron man, ghost giant, walking dead saints and sinners, resident evil 7, moss, batman, tetris effect, wipeout and superhot vr are all compelling yes' 🙂 id add beat saber but they refuse to put it on sale
@God_of_War_ I really enjoyed the game. The hordes are very fun. I'd you think the price is good, then get it. I doubt you'll waste your time. Plus, I'm a fan of Sons of Anarchy too, couldn't help but feel like Jax riding after the world ended
@Whately86 I loved Sons of Anarchy!
I'm going through a Zombie gaming phase....just got the platinum for dying light, completed Resi Evil 0 and now making my way through RE-CV and RE5. Will give Days Gone a playthrough
@Rob_230
I have RE 7 and love it just playing it in non-VR, I'm sure adding that element makes it even better. The games I've had my eyes on the longest are Astrobot, Blood and Truth and Sairento. Chances are I end up not buying PSVR again because I go through this same thing every time Sony does one of these promotions but I'd be lying if I said there isn't some really compelling software for the device.
@God_of_War_ I think that the best in this zombie phase you're going through, is that the styles of the game are different. Open world + zombies + lots of guns (not a loooot but enough for me) + pimp my ride
And I'm pretty into the stories of Sony's exclusive games. Although this is not one of the best stories ever, but it does it's part and fits well with everything else. Lemme know your thoughts when you play.
@God_of_War_
I just platinumed the game and YES! It is 100% worth it. I held off getting it due to the reviews but wow they were so wrong.
@ArmyofOne thanks, appreciate it!
@Schaede thanks for this, I didn't know about this site, I'll check it out.
Here in CZ we have payday around 15th in month. And with dryout because of corona virus, there is no money for fun right now.
Excellent my ps+ expires 10th June good timing lol
@gmxs
This is a great game.
Imagine TLOU in an open world.
@Get2thechoppa @Get2thechoppa
Get the mega pack if I was you.
Doom(£25)+wipeout(£29)+astrobots(£20)+skyrim(£39)
4 of the best experiences on Psvr on the cheap. 😉
@Quintumply @ShogunRok @get2sammyb Where are the sales on consoles? I’m in need of a replacement PS4 Pro, and been wanting to also gift PS4s to some of my long time close friends as well.
@Turismo4GT there is a site that can monitor this for you and send you email notifications. I forgot the name though, you'll have to google it.
@Flurpsel It's psprices.com, @Schaede dropped that nugget earlier, thanks for the reply.
@Turismo4GT Who are you talking to?
@IanAlbarn Right now, 🤷🏾♂️
