@Torakaka Sony owns Team Gravity as stated. Sony owns so many games that most people don't realize. Someone on Gematsu said that a Wild Arms game should be made for the Switch, not realizing that Sony owns that too lol. This is why Sony should not promote third party or do third party deals. They own enough franchises they could spend their money on instead. I am still waiting for my Dark Cloud 3.

@Nightsever I say this because the average PS4 owner does not know what the game is. Sony never even included the game in their commercials. If I ask my bro or nephews, they never heard of the game like they did GOW, Uncharted or TLoU. They know Ratchet as well though.

Sony should have promoted better but most people who play games are casuals.

Just don't allow any more games to go to PC.

@ShogunRok I am a Marvel fan and this is not what I want. As you mentioned Spider-Man. That is the standard that I expect to be upheld and Square had the nerve to compare it, but they were talking about sales, which is all they care about with this GaaS.

@Areus You are right about SOE being there before, but they had nothing to do with SIE. They were a seperate company. It was the main company that had them work PS, which made since because Sony slso makes consoles. Putting PS games on PC is a bad decision no matter how its sliced.

@nessisonett What a ignorant comment. These games only exist because they are exclusive. Sony is not a third party company. Consoles would not exist if not for exclusives. All of the best games have always been exclusive anyway.

@nookie_egg They can buy a PlayStation to play those games. I really don't care about other people getting to play something that they are not willing to buy the console to support. People like me built PS since we been there day one and everything the company does should only be for us. People outside of PS talk crap on the games yet port beg. Just last month Death Stranding was called a movie or walking simulator by PC fanboys. They don't deserve any of Sony's games and its that simple.

@Areus SOE existed before PlayStation and had nothing to do with SIE. They were a seperate company that eixted strickly for PC development of MMOs.

None of their games should be on PC period and Kojima said it was not going to PC a few years ago. PSU posted an article about it whete he claimed he never said there was a PC version and you had the person who interviewed him saying he never said that either. No matter how you slice it, Sony made a mistake letting this game go to PC and I hope Jim Ryan never lets this happen again like Shawn Layden did. Its not good business period and people should raise questions about other games since this has never happened before.

It does matter and its a mistake. Regardless of if its one game, it devalues the PS. Sony has lied about this game being "Only on PlayStation" instead of being honest from the get go.

There was an interview where Kojima said the game was not going to PC. The perception of Sony games going to PC will be there (its already there) and will hurt the brand. I canceled my pre order of the collector's edition because they do not deserve extra money from me for lying to the consumer.

I will just buy the standard instead and was thinking of waiting for it to go on sale. Its the principle of it. Be upfront from day one so everybody know's what the truth is. The value of a console is its exclusive games and if it is on better hardware why should anyone buy it on PS4? I also canceled my pre order of TLo2 special edition.

I will just get the standard edition of that too. I realize that there is no need for me to over invest in Sony anymore. If I had a gaming PC I would just buy Death Stranding on PC instead, because it would make the most sense.

Nintendo appears to be the only one who know's the value of exclusives completely these days. If it is not a big deal then why not put all games on PC?

You either all in with "Only on PlayStation" or everything goes to PC. Can not half a$$ and play both sides. Nobody wins with this.

@Flaming_Kaiser They don't get any money. How could they? When games sell a certain amount the devs get bonuses and it funds their next game. It also makes the devs more valuable, which is why both Guerrilla and Naughty Dog expanded due to the success of their games. Player count does not equal prfit. Only sales equal profit. Gears 5 has already fallen off a cliff and it has MP. Gears used to be one of the Xbox's biggest games, while Uncharted and GOW continue to have monster sales. Even GT Sport outsold Gears and Halo. Sony would be idiots to mess up their success by giving their games away.

@David187 Exactly. They only made Gamepass because they could not compete in the console space or the PC space.

@Flurpsel It will never be pofitable in the long term. They will never make a profit unless the sub cost is sky high, which would kill any chances of increasing sub count. They still lose money from not selling games which includes third party as well. GOW has made more money than Gamepass and PSNow combined. Now how does a subscription service make up for the that financial loss? It doesn't. Some of you really don't understand how this all works. Money has to be put right back into a service, while selling games amd hardware the company keeps more of its revenue as profit.

@roe They are not making profit from Gamepass. Its impossible. Netflix does not even make a profit. These types of services are a money pit, which is why Sony is selling PSVue and PSNow will shutdown eventually. The writing is on the wall.

Sony is in a great position so they din't need to fo this since people will buy the PS5 regardless. I was planning on trading in my Pro, which will save me money.

MM is starting to look like a waste of money. Sony should have closed them instead of Zipper or Evolution. They took a whole generation to make Dreams and its still not finished. Its a money pit that has not yielded a return on profits. Now you have this ridiculous statement. I don't see the value in the company at this point. I have no interest in Dreams and never have. These games like Minecraft are boring.

Yet people think cloud gaming is the future. The samething will happen to PSNow, which is not profitable either. This will happen to most streaming services, tv and gaming.

I said this game and Division 2 would flop lol. Said the same about FO76 and Anthem. GaaS is not doing as good as these companies claim on a AAA level. Especially when they are not FTP. Good riddance to this garbage.

Streaming is trash period. Just look at the Xcloud tests. All these streaming services will flop.

@Areus That is what it is, which is why its not as impressive as people have claimed. Inlike Deus Ex so that is not a bad thing, but its not like Cyberpunk is something we have never seen before. It sounds like it will be overrated just like TW3, but the combat looks much better given the fact you actually have variety and options. That comes from the technology in the game though.

What was their first masterpiece? TW3 was not it. The game had bad combat, clunky controls, repetitive gameplay and a ton of glitches. I liked TW3, but it was just good overall. Stop over hyping this game as it does not look special at all.

@FullbringIchigo Those two have zero to do with each other but then people complaining about a game mode should have the same energy here. Game quality is far more important than a mode anyway. It effects the entire game but people love to change the facts.

@RBMango Well the creator of SH joined Sony and made Siren and Gravity Rush. They could get him to create something in the vein of the good Silent Hill games. Hope SH fans finally get something that they will like since I will never get Dark Cloud 3.

@JJ2 That is not their game. No one should promote multiplats except the owner. M$ started this multiplat promotion crap last gen and now Sony has followed because of games like COD and GTA. I think Sony makes better games than Nintendo, but Nintendo always puts their games first as they should. When COD was on the Wii it was irrelevant to Mario and their other games.

@Amppari I disagree as they are all first party games. That means Sony loses money and the devs lose their jobs or become even more irrelevant. I am still waiting on a Soul Sacrifice 2 to hit PS4/PS5 and looks like it will never happen. The creator of Silent Hill made Siren and Gravity Rush. You would think Sony would make bigger use of him and his team. He has been irrelevant since joining Sony back in the early 2000s.

I completely agree and have been saying this for a long time. They got a COD commercial every year but nothing for their own game Concrete Genie? Sony crushes M$ when it comed to games both in quality and variety, but. M$ would have promoted this game as they did for Sea of Thieves, State of Decay, Ori and Cup Head. Nintendo would have really pushed this game. They need to stop wasting money on third party deals and just promote all of their games only. Third party sells on their console regardless. Having COD deals is irrelevant. Xbox is no comp for them so let them have the third party deals.

Doom was the only other game I was interested in this fall besides Death Stranding. All the other games are trash IMO, but ID has managed to keep Doom quality dispite Bethesda.

@Powerpellet Yup. All of these shooters are boring and repetitive. I do not get the hype for them or online focused games in general? People are dissing Death Stranding and bashing ND for focusing on a unique single player first instead of MP. We need more companies like ND and Kojima.

@Oriion Stadia released almost 2 months ago and no one cares. This has nothing to do with Stadia as you have to buy games individually on Stadia, its not an on demand service like Gamepass or PSNow. They just want to get more subs because obviously the number is low.
