@Cutmastavictory That is why they are actually losing money. Games need to make back a return. A subscription model does not yield the same returns. Notice PSNow has old games on it and no new games. That's for a reason.

Gamepass is not making money for devs so only if they want to lose money. Sony's games actually sell unlike M$ so I don't know where this talking point came from.

@AdamNovice The game had zero promo. Their publisher did nothing. Then it released around Madden and right before football season. It was a flop waiting to happen.

Who is still buying GTA5? I think Rockstar is buying the game themselves.

@kyleforrester87 People don't seem to understand a cross is a horizantal like and a vertical line. The X button is not crossed that way, its diagonal meaning from one corner to the next in a diagonal direction.

@YozenFroghurt Very wise to be cautious. FF7 was my favorite game when I played it and I want this Remake to deliver but Square has been a disappointment and already messed up by releasing it in parts. People are ignoring those facts and blindly hyping it.

@AllTheReddist This makes no sense at all. FF7 had an amazing story with tons of substance but these trailers are action focused making the Remake look less interesting. Of course it is visually appealing, but if you did not like the original for its main story than this will not change that as the story will (should) not be altered .

@kyleforrester87 You are absolutely right and you should be skeptical. Does it look good? Of course it does as it is suppose to. Anthem looked good too and we all know how that turned out.

So far all Square has shown are combat footage and no exploration or RPG elements. People are taking the bait as usual. The one thing I want to see still has not been shown and that is the world map.

Is there a world map or will this be another limited exploration game like the previous FF games? Square has a track record of not delivering what they promise with FF since FF13.

Either way I am not buying into the hype as Square has disappointed for over a decade now and the game being relased in parts makes it a no buy until the complete collection which we all know will come.

So its all flash with no substance. FF7 was not an action game.

Dragon's Dogma was the best game Capcom made since Okami. They just keep rehasing overrated Resident Evil and making 2D Megaman games while turning SF into a service.

I am not into MH and DMC5 is just average. Where is Lost Planet, Maximo, God Hand and other games? RE2 remake was pointless other than the RE fanboys still holding on to nostalgia.

Where is Breath of Fire? Capcom is a shell of themselves. They were one of my favorite devs from the NES to the PS2.

Oh and Onimusha and not another port.

@Porco That is why games built with adding content digitally is bad for consumers. Also digital only will never happen. Its just an option and will remain that way beyond 10 years. Companies will never limit options for their customers. I stil buy music on disc and movies. Not everyone has access to the internet, remember that.

Um...just buy the physical copy? Digital is trash. I still got my disc.

No opinion until I see it. No hype for it which is good and hopefully the gameplay will speak for itself.

@ShogunRok Not my intention but I had so many thoughts and it has been building up since 2017 with the hype of this game. I expected to have my sox rocked off. I will leave it here then.

@ThePathsofPain Kojima made better games than CD, just facts. MGS5 while not my cup of tea compared to the older games had way better design and gameplay than TW3.

I prefer TW3 over MGS5, but it was no where near Kojima's level of game development. Death Stranding actually looks unique while CyberPunk looks run of the mill.

What is so difficult to understand? DS did not have as much hype either. CD does not have the legacy of Kojima. Just the facts.

@LemonHaze This is a multi game so it won't max PS4. This is not Death Stranding, TLoU2 or Ghost of Tsushima. Third party never pushes hardware.

@JesWood13 TW3 had crappy combat and bland gameplay so CDR ars not perfect and I liked TW3. I would rather TW4 than CyberPunk. CD Red are not ND or Platinum. They do not have an extensive history of quality games.

@AFCC It's nothing new or original. Just Deus Ex which is OL but not GOTY material as people have been claiming before gameplay. Its solid but not worth all the hype.

@vhsodre There are better RPGs out there and this is more of an FPS. Granbule Fantasy looks much better.

Rofl. All that hype with people like YongTea claiming it was the most amazing game they ever seen. Don't get me wrong, I think it just looks okay.

I am not disappointed or think it looks meh. It just looks ordinary and more like another FPS instead of some unigue game like Death Stranding or as amazing as The Last of Us Part 2.

I mean that is fine, but this is why peoppe should not have hyped it before seeing gameplay. The non gameplay trailers were more interesting.

It did mot make me want to buy it and all the gender politics overshadowed this average looking game.

Also DF are a joke. I do not know why people value their so called analysis. They were getting paid by M$ anyway to hype the X and its funny to see people on twitter still talking about better versions of multiplats when the X failed LOL. Technical issues are on the devs due to their engine and optimization, not hardware. These third party companies do not care about pushing hardware.

@MegalonitroX Rbis was a very ignorant comment. God of War has better design, better story, better combat and better everything. You can't jump in Batman or Souls either. You could not jump in Onimusha and all are better games. Never compare this mediocre garbage to a masterpiece again.

Game is mediocre and I only played the beginning. I also played the first 2, but they are last gen games and DS3 is a current gen game. The design is terrible. I bought it for $20 a few months ago and have not played it since. Liking the first 2 games does not excuse how poor of a game DS3 is.

@johncalmc That is my point. Control clearly has technical issues but sites like Gamespot did not mention it as they did with Days Gone. They also played gender politics and were reviewed by feminists showing their bias. I have no problem with any reviewer's opinion, but they need to keep it on the game and not bring in personal feelins or politics.

@jFug Its the opposite for me. Days Gone was better than the majority of the reviews said so but this is why I just trust what I see for myself, barred any technical or design issues. Just proves that reviews should not be used when determining to buy a game.

@jFug Yes, I agree and that was my problem with Detroit: Become Human. Especially once they revealed the poorly executed plot twist. I felt disapointed in the end.

@roe They do that a lot and did it with Control, which is how I knew about the very bad frame rate. The people who got Control early are still having those problems after the day one patch. Its a good thing for us consumers and now I saved money instead of buting Control. Not saying its a bad game, but after watching a few hours along with the technical issues I am not interested.

@johncalmc That was the charm of Until Dawn which worked in its favor. Being cheesy was a homage to 80s horror movies and made the game enjoyable. Trying to be serious but still having the tone of Until Dawn will not succeed so I was never interested in this game because of it. Until Dawn also had a Scooby Doo feel and being a huge Scooby fan it had me hooked.

This is why Sony should not buy this dev. QTE games can only go so far as well. Until Dawn was cool but no need for a sequel or more games like it. Same with Quantic Dream, they just become noval and gimmicky. I did not even finish Until Dawn.

@Gamer83 I agree but I want Kojima. They could saso use him to over see other Japanese games which Sony needs to improve. Remedy still can not touch PS3 Uncharted games as Control looks really dull action and set piece wise. The concept is interesting, but everything else is a bore.

@Ralizah Wow. Glad I canceled my pre order. Was going to buy it for $20 on black friday, but I will just watch a playthrough on YouTube. The game is not very long anyway looking at MKiceandFire's total play time. Oh well.

@BAMozzy Remedy were never high quality devs. Max Payne on PS2 was riddled with bugs and performance issues.

Why didn't this game get the criticism Days Gone got? Days Gone ran really well for me except a few parts.

@kyleforrester87 Every game does not run well on PC. See Batman and Nier Automata. You guys really don't understand game design. Hardware is irrelevant. Nintendo's games run really well on Switch.

@FullbringIchigo This is on the dev, not the hardware. I played plenty of games more demanding than Control on standard PS4. Batman Arkham Knight ran better on PS4 than PC.

@Gamer83 Right. Dorian and Vivian were two of my favorite characters in Dragon Age: I and they were LGBTQ. I also love Elle from The Last of Us and Bill was a good character. They were handled properly without promoting their sexuality. You didn't know until you played the games.

What is more important? As a minority I do not care if a game as none like The Witcher 3 disn't have. Including people is great, but that should not be whats promoted and will not sell the game.
