Too late I already have this on Switch.

Since I don't like the design I am going to wait for the slim model and see what that one looks like before I get a PS5.

@IronHammersFC It's the 360.version though on Xbox. Kinda odd that they give Xbox One owners the 360 version and PS4 owners the PS4 version. Why not either give either both current game versions of both last gen versions?

So Xbox's new console looks like a speaker and Sony's looks like a router. What happened to making consoles that look like consoles?

I highly doubt it will be called just Black Ops as that will only confuse people as there is already a Blacks Ops. And before anyone says anything about Modern Warfare 2019 it was a different name. Then Call of Duty 4:. Modern Warfare.

So it will be hosted Mario and Princess Peach huh.

So last month we got two simulation games and this month we are getting two FPS games. I wonder if this is a new trend by Sony. Like next month are we going to get two fighting games or two RPGs?

I will stick with Mutant Football League then. ***** EA.

It's a shame because this year's CoD game garbage. I would like another game like CoD but it appears for now CoD has a monopoly.

I totally forgot about this game. I am still interested in it but as you guys pointed out nothing has been said about it. At this point it's probably just Vaporware.

@Grindagger I didn't play Call of Duty during Infinite Warfare mainly cause at the time I couldn't afford to buy I still followed it. If interested you can probably google the backlash fans gave IW.

I have been gaming more since I have been furloughed for a month now. Been also watching more tv and getting more projects done around the house as well.

@Grindagger It had nothing to do with reputation. CoD players at the time were tired of the direction CoD was going, sci-fi elements, wall jumping CoD was turning more into something like Halo then CoD. Then you had attachments that would really change the physics of a gun it was a mess. CoD players wanted a more traditional military shooter, traditional in the sense of time period and such. They wanted a military shooter that was boots on the ground, based during WWII or even Modern time, not in space. They weren't getting it from CoD that year so alot jumped on the Battlefield bandwagon so to speak..

I knew a couple of co-workers who did just that. They never played a Battlefield game before that but they didn't want CoD: Sci-fi edition. They liked the WWI setting the traditional combat so they bought Battlefield 1. There also were YouTubers who did the same.

By the time Battlefield V hit CoD: WWII was already out so alot of CoD players who were playing BF1 went back to CoD due to them making a more traditional CoD game.

@Grindagger One factor that Battlefield 1 sold better was that it went up against CoD: Infinite Warfare. Alot of CoD fans who were tired of Activision's B.S. jumped over to Battlefield 1 in the beginning.

It's no surprise it will be two years this November, I can give Battlefield that over CoD at least they don't bring them out yearly. I haven't played this game in awhile but maybe I will return to it one last time.

@Onion_Knight It's been available on Switch in the Collection of Mana not to mention there were ahem least lawful ways of playing the game for years, so it wasn't like it wasn't unavailable

@Gmork___ because it would still split the player base and Activision doesn't want what happened with Infinite Warfare and Modern Warfare Remastered. Even if they included the original MW2 MP as a mode like Warzone it would still split the player base because it plays differently then the current MW. Instead they redesigned some maps from MW2 and added them to the rotation of MW 2019.

@Xnx_gaming Because contrary to what people believe this year did change up the formula. You can see that on alot of CoD YouTubers videos especially ones who have been playing for years.

@FullbringIchigo They are adding maps from MW2 to the current MW but they are redesigned for this year's MW.

@GoodGame @djape @Gmork___ Activision learned their lesson with MWR having multiplayer and Infinite Warfare at the same time. They don't want to repeat that mistake with the current Modern Warfare hence no multiplayer for MW2R or MW3R. They don't want to split the player base.

@Bubsbud I have had it happen in MP as well. I play on crossplay so I can play with friends who own Xboxes we have seen mouse and keyboard users in the pregame lobby as well. We just leave that lobby when that happens. I think what it looks first for connection strength, then input device.

It should have been PS4 and Xbox One cross play only. I am one of those that have no choice but to play cross play if I want to play with my friends as I own a PS4 and they have Xbox ones. Sadly it means that I have to put up with cheaters as well.

@darkswabber I don't remember exact dates, I just know it came out in 2018 so that makes it 2 years old. Generally when someone looks at a year they say how many years it's been they don't break it down. If a game came out in 2018 who's going to say oh it's been 1 year 4 months 2 weeks 4 days 21 hours 16 minutes and 34 seconds since I last played it? No one they are going to say it's been 2 years or years as I stated since I played it.

And quite honestly if I was talking about 4 I would have said 4 and incidentally I wouldn't have commented here since this article isn't about Fallout 4.

@darkswabber Nobody likes a smart ass. It came out in 2018 it's now 2020 It been 2 YEARS. I played it for a week after it came out and was disappointed in it and that was the last time I played it, hence it has been years.

This was the whole reason I never got rid of my copy. I deleted from my harddriive and haven't played it in years but I always hoped they would do something like this.

I hope they remaster this game like the Bioshock series where it's a collection of the first two games remastered. That would be great.

@AhmadSumadi I remember the movie Gangster Squad had to have some scenes reshot and the movie delayed after Dark Knight Shooting in Colorado. So it's not hard to believe thats why TLoU2 is getting delayed.

@DominatorV93 Come on MW2 was broken alot of people are blinded by nostalgia when it comes to MW2. Let's not forget how broken it was. Infinite Noobtubeing, second chance. Even if they remastered MP I am sure all that would be fixed and it wouldn't be the same game.

@get2sammyb I wonder if maybe they thought marketing this type of game during what is going on world wide at this time is just bad taste.

I am sure they will bring it out. This was one of the years most high anticipated games so they won't just scrap it. If anything maybe it will be a PS5 launch game.

@grahamd @Jocinetu They won't do multiplayer because they want people to play the current Modern Warfare. When the included multiplayer with Modern Warfare Remastered it split the community really bad between Infinite Warfare and MWR. The don't want to repeat that mistake again hence why it's campaign only.

I would pick this up but I don't have access to my PS4 right now. However hearing that Road to the Show is a step down I might just wait for next year's installment and get that for the Xbox Series X.

I am going to hold off on this one since they don't match players up via input device as they should. Hopefully they will add a patch at some point to do just that.
