Come on Sony, 28% of unsatisfied people is a lot of people. It´s like they are satisfied with this result: "look, it´s a 7 out of 10!". It´s almost 6 million people.

I mean, I recently just bought a PS5, so I´m not abandoning Sony any time soon, and I still have an incredible backlog of games from the PS4. But if this trend continues to grow, next gen I´ll go with the Switch 2. It´s not only the live service games, but the censorship (while allowing it in games like Last of Us 2) and lack of support/abandon (in my eyes) from/of indie, A, AA japonese developers are killing it for me.

I won´t buy the older PSVR because I`m saving for the PSVR2, but kinda stupid to not let older games be compatible (I read somewhere about this), I mean, PS5 already has retrocompatibility with the PS4, they just need to add support for the camera and the ps Move, with such a large library of games it will be kinda stupid to not do this. But knowing Sony they will likely release remakes of the older games.

@BartoxTharglod Nintendo is breaking record sales with the Switch, focusing on single player experiences, ps4 broke records last gen, focusing on single player experiences, so its clearly not a vocal minority. Live Services games, in this day and age, are clearly important, but it seens that Sony, for me personally, are slowly abandon what made then cool in the PS4 era.

I think Capcom will release all of their classic PS1, PS2 games, not just Dino Crisis, maybe they just need more time to adjust some things, like trophy support, this will be a good test for them to see if this franchise still has fan support and maybe in the future release a RE2 treatment.

I really don´t like Soulslike games, but EVERYONEs talking about Elden Ring. I always looked at these kind of games as niche. Maybe I should give it a try.

I really like platform games, so the inclusion, as bad as it is, of Balan is a nice surprise. It's a game I would never have bought. For me the only omission is Knack 2, I really liked the first one. Unless I missed it on the list.

Hum, solid start (for the extra tier), if I`m correct , Gamepass (the direct competitor) lauched with only 100 games, and Sony will include even more games in the coming months.

@Korgon @KayOL77 I did the same, i got through the first one, barely, because the story was intriguing enough, but the gameplay was.. well, not for me..

Nothing against a sequel.. on the contrary, I wish there was more games like this in the industry, people trying something new. But they won't always be able to please everyone.

I didn't really like the game that much, but I have to give it to Sony and Kojima to finance such a different and expensive game, in an age of only Battle Royales and safe bets.

@RogerRoger Yes, nice to meet you! Shadow of The Tomb raider is, in my opinion, the closest to the original games we've ever had, it's beautiful, scary and awesome! (thanks, I really needed to get this off my chest..haha)

I really enjoyed the new trilogy, with the third entry as my favorite (yes, unpopular opinion, I know), so I'm really looking forward to the sequel.

The best Harry Potter game for me was Lego Harry Potter, beeing able to explore block Hogwards was incredible, and for me it´s still the best LEGO game ever made.
But I´m also very curious about this game. It´s a single player experience or its multiplayer?

Already pre-ordered, I never had the chance to play these games, so I´m really curious, people say a lot of good things about them.

I personally would prefer a Jak and Daxter 4.. haha.. The Last of Us 1 is awesome already.

Or an Uncharted sequel game with Chloe, or Nathan´s brother.

I never said I hate play on PC, I just said I don´t like it, and I even play on there ocasionally. The reasons? I dont know, this separation of Console gamers and PC gamers is as old as the game industry. But for me, lets see.

1 - It´s cheaper, I don´t need to buy a PC (which is awesome) because I won`t use it for anything else besides play games.I have a laptop with a very mediocre configuration so I can acess internet and work, so thats enough for me;
2 - I´m a Playstation fanboy (in the good way), so the satisfaction of buy the latest Sony console it´s something that I think is shared with a lot of people in this website, I cant explain. But a like to see my gamer history throught the console, my trophies, watch Crunchyroll, talk to friends, and play the latest exclusives games.
3 - This is something I think its slowly ending, but I´m a collector, so I like to see my games on my shelf, in physical format. I miss the days of the big box on PC, I still have my Monkey Island 3 on display in my room.

But your explanation of course makes complete sense, in the end I think that the price is the primary factor for console gaming, and second the exclusives.

@SplooshDmg yeah, but then you should argue who is the agressor, and that depends on who you ask.

Thats why I think the path choose by Sony was correct.

@Sakisa The United States is one of the most divided countries in the world, I dont think injecting american politics into a worldwide company is a recipe for sucess. Whats the problem with a neutral instance in this subject? A neutral response in a videogame company shouldnt be considered an outrage. Your response stating that you dont need to hear someones opinion on this is proof that Sonys decision was correct.

Well, millions and millions of people dont really like to play on PCs (me included), so I think consoles are needed for now. If in the future one company decides to abandon the console market, I think it will be Microsoft. Soon their subscription plataform will be played on tvs as an app, so if any company ever decides to abandon this market, it will not be Sony.

@Apfelschteiner @Apfelschteiner personally, I would not care one bit, for me the acquisition would be more a defensive move than trying to limit acess from games to the competition.

About the other comment, I agree completely. Sony is a worldwide plataform, and should respect the opinions of everyone, even the ones they don´t agree. Bungie should do as they please, as long as they dont disrespect this company policy.

@Andee hahaha.. Yeah, some of those names are really stupid, aren`t they.. but to be fair, the developers at that time are almost entirely Japanese, so for any non english speaking person, the name ends up being cool..

They need to stop milking FFVII (they wont) and give some love to VIII (they wont), a sequel 25 years in the future with a new generation of students, one of them beeing Squall´s kid, would be great.

I´m only interested in the Extra tier for now, here in Brazil we won´t have PS3 games in the Premium.

Maybe SLG are helping funding the complete collection? Wonder Boy games have seen a ressurgence, but are still very niche games. I just dont get why 2000 units, I get that its called Strickly Limited Games, but they should do like LRG, a 6 weeks period of sales for some games.

They should have distanced themselves from the games and made something with different characters, smaller, without the giant CGI monsters. A soft live action reboot like Resident Evil 7 was for the games. Maybe in a mansion or.. a creepy Village?

Looks bad.. but on par with others recent RE adaptations.

After seeing the new adaptations, I realize that at least the first 2 movies with Milla are miles better, with time I can see this films becoming cult classics.

After more than 100 hours on AC Valhalla, think I´m in the mood for a little puzzle game, but still undecided between this game or LEGO Builders.

I know its a dumb game, but its incredibily fun and one of my favorites for the past year.
I think the only one with more hours played on my ps4 its Stardew Valley, which for me its one of the best games for the past decade, me and my wife love that game.

@MarcG420 Yeah, I don´t know really. Maybe you´re right. And Sony must know what they´re doing. But on the other hand, they already help financially and already hold some exclusivity in some games, for example, Final Fantasy XVI. I wouldn't mind if some of these were day one on the platform. I say this more to attract people to the new Plus, and mitigate a little of this day one subject. I particularly always buy my games in physical media, even after playing them on PSN in the monthly selection, when I like them, so Im not complaining, I'm satisfied with what sony is doing.

We´re talking about Sony first party exclusive games, and Sony has a clear strategy about this, but I cant see why third party games, like Assassins Creed, or Resident Evil, cant be day one on plus.

It took years for EA to refine the game and reach that point. Its not just "well I have the name, it should be enough". Its a risk move, because if FIFA delivers a worst game, which its almost certain, they will only hurt the brand. It seens they dont really accepted well EAs decision.

@Ninjadeath2023 Yeah, I have played them when they launched for the PS3, really awesome games, Asylum beeing my favorite! Very creepy. It´s the last one, Arkham Knight, that I still haven´t played. It´s in my shelf for at least 4 years, maybe its time I give it a chance.

Wow, the end of an era! I still have my Snes copy of Fifa 95, its crazy to think that we won´t have another Fifa (in the name), at least for EA!
