A lengthy playable demo for Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter has arrived on PS5, ahead of the full game's launch on the 19th September.
Publisher GungHo and developer Falcom have also released the title's stylish opening movie, which you can watch above.
Weighing in at just under 13GB, the demo includes the adventure's entire prologue, which equals roughly six to eight hours of playtime. And yes, you can carry your progress over to the finished product.
We should point out, however, that Trails in the Sky has an infamously slow opening. That's not to say it isn't entertaining — it's absolutely packed with charm and likeable characters — but don't expect to be taken on a wild ride.

We got early access to this demo for the purposes of writing our Trails in the Sky 1st Chapter preview, and we absolutely loved it. Assuming the quality holds up across the rest of the story, this is going to be a superb remake of a classic RPG.
