You don't have to agree with people to enjoy things that they do. There is probably someone who works on anything you enjoy that has views you disagree with. The world would be a horrible place if everyone agreed on everything. It's a shame some people just don't know how to voice their opinions in a respectful manner.

The OG PS5 will then replace the PS4 as the base model that games are developed for hopefully.

I thought that pasta had the PlayStation tax but turns out their pasta is usually around that price. Over 3 times more than supermarket own brands. If you go through a bag of this a week you could get 1.5 full price PS5 games if you go with Supermarket own brands. I know what I would prefer.

I look forward to buying the inevitable trilogy for the PS6 for £80 each!

@Discol76 You should easily finish it in a few hours. I started it last week and finished my playthrough but now challenging myself with getting the platinum before it leaves next week.

@GamingFan4Lyf Disappointing but expected. These are usually one time only deals but they usually mention that in the small print.

@atthegates You can't use the same ones again but got 5 months with Barclaycard and 6 months through Sky, Currys and of course the PS5. Barclaycard are running the promo at the minute but I can't cash in again. Apart from PS5 offer they are all UK based offers.

Hopefully it is valid for people who claimed before. Can't see any terms that says you can't. That will put me at almost 2.5 years of apple TV without having to pay. They seem to be giving it away all over the place these days.

They have lost the wars but a world without Xbox is a world where the PS5 price would be higher or a world where the Dreamcast 2 is announced. I would hope for the latter but know the former to be the inevitable.

I don't see a problem with announcement embargoes of only a few days. If people are so impatient and jump ship to Xbox and ditch PS in that timeframe then there they deserve everything they get. I can't actually believe that anyone has done that although I guass a few overly dramatic YouTubers have probably threatened to.

If it didn't say death on the box I would assume it was a weird relaxation pose.

If it's digital only it reduces the urgency for getting a single player game for me. I have far too many digital games but don't think I have paid full price for any since the PS4 came out.

My car cost less than this. For that reason I don't think I am the target audience for this.

It has to be Code Veronica for me as it is the oldest one that has yet to be remastered.

So the game didn't have enough skins to unlock to keep people playing/paying to unlock the "best" ones. That seems to be the driver of most live service games. That and the game has to be fun to play in the first place. I would like to think ND nailed that part.

If Sony had signed the agreement then they would have guaranteed 10 years. I can see Microsoft screwing them over if they don't.

Don't be so negative. All 12 live service games will be hits. I will forgo sleep and quit my job and spend 2 hours a day playing each one of them to make sure they don't fail. I will spend all my money on them, which will be limited without an income due to quitting my job, until I die, which won't be long without sleeping and having no money for food.

@BeerIsAwesome It could be worse. They could try and be edgy. It's social media so they are just playing the game so as long as you see through it then you're OK. Being cold and precise just doesn't cut the mustard these days.

@AdamNovice Surely they are just piggybacking off Sony's promotion rather than having a dig? Making sure the Series owners don't put their consoles up for sale on ebay just so they can get a PS5 for the MGS3 remake. Basically they are being cheap. Why pay for advertising when someone else can do it for you?

@thefourfoldroot1 As the UK forms less than 1% of the world's population and it is all about the cloud then they can afford to screw over all the UK Xbox owners and potential cloud streamers. They can just blame it on the CMA and then the death threats to CMA employees start.

With supposedly only 2 million Xbox Series consoles in the UK they may as well just ditch the UK market and plough ahead I guess. The extra income from the new subscribers worldwide should offset the loss.

With all the acquisitions going on, couldn't they just sell them on thus unacquiring them? Or would that cost more than shutting them down?

@NEStalgia Thanks for pointing out the small print. Guess the increase must be from the fact that more PS5 games are now being sold increasing revenue. Guess the price increase is benefitting Sony despite lower sales then.

I assume revenue includes money from live service games which is why Sony is after a larger slice of that pie.

Subscriptions services should be the norm for live service games that aren't F2P to stop the talk of game discs becoming coasters.

Everyone knows the best entry in the series was the movie starring Sully.
