Just over 9% of all gaming time is spent on Fortnite. That is a crazy statistic and it only seems to be increasing. If this keeps up gaming will soon be renamed as Fortniting.

The thing about rumours now is that sometimes the rumours turn in to rumours that the rumoured game has been cancelled which then turn out to be true thus preserving your online clout.

This is the game worth owning a PS5 Pro for.

The test will be when they bring their AAA games over. If Indiana Jones and FH5 (although with that being an older game, it may be a bit too late to the party) post lower numbers than Sea of Thieves then that may be the end of the Xbox ports.

Quick, someone tell Sony to stop development of the PS6 now cos the kids don't want it and their current player base will soon be arthritic and won't be able to play.

I heard a rumour they are remaking Bloodborne and when it doesn't come to anything there will be a rumour that the rumoured remake has been cancelled.

@Haruki_NLI I can imagine instead of having one arm tanned like truck drivers you would have just your forearms tanned holding the controller in that beam of light coming in through the window while you battle with glare on the TV screen.

A friend of a friend was hospitalised after watching Punch Drunk Love apparently as it was shortly after he had a car crash and it brought on terrible PTSD. Movies only come with a warning if they think it will sell tickets. If they want to stick a vague warning on a game then go knock your socks off.

I can't grab a console or controller without my 3 year old stealing it off me wanting to play so my gaming time is limited to when he is asleep unfortunately. The portal is no use to me as when he is asleep I can get the TV. Maybe when he is older and has his own console to play on.

@Kienda I can only imagine people would only rent for a month or two at best. These are going to get passed around like crazy. They are going to be an absolute mess after 12 months.

@Kienda Still seems like overkill as you could buy a new one and use for a few months and sell for probably less cost than as a rental for a few months.

PSVR2 is more that PS5 Pro despite now being about half the price to buy.

So if it is still on sale by the end of the year then the Black Friday sale on this price may make it worth purchasing. Unless I spank all of my money on the Switch 2 first.

If you can complete the games to get the platinum. I was playing Ghosthunter on the PS5 and I can't get past the bit near the end. Just crashes whether I play locally or stream. Not sure I can be bothered to start again and try.

The point is so they can make more money from people and fill up the 1st party release schedule to stop it looking so barren.
We need some PS3 remasters rather than PS4 games that can already be played on a PS5.

I am.sure I bought this for under a tenner at some.point so I may upgrade at some point.
With these upgrades do you trade your PS4 licence plus fee for the PS5 version or do you keep the PS4 licence?

Hopefully it lasts long enough for them to give us a free game as compensation.

It's only free in terms of material cost. They will be getting other things from you instead. I will still probably sign up. The sooner they can use my data to clone me the sooner I can get my clone to go to work and I can play games all day.

@Shigurui But VCRs didn't have series link though and the timer function on them was a pain as well so you rarely set anything other than later that day if you were going out. It was a much bigger effort back in the day to keep up with TV shows.

They will be competing for your time and gaming budgets but not on the power front. Same as the Switch vs PS4.

@Khayl The best time for gaming will always be the present as you can play all the new games and the classics. If you have the time of course.

It's an Ubisoft game. I guess a lot of people like me are waiting for the inevitable 95% off sale their games always have.

I hope Sony doesn't do a live service Spiderman game. We saw how well that worked out with SPUMC or whatever Sony called those 4 terrible spin off movies.

The people who buy the Pro though will want a disc drive more often than not as they are the hardcore fans and want the best version of the console and that would be one with a disc drive.

@PloverNutter I said the game was fine. It didn't reinvent the wheel and it is no Arkham Asylum/City but they are a couple of top tier games. Most games pretty much show their full hand within the first few hours. People have written it off as a live service game but the basic game is just a single player/co-op game. Just saying people can now make up their own mind if they don't have to pay to play it.

If you treat Suicide Squad as a single player game it is fine for 15-20 hour runtime. Ignore the live service gubbins. I believe it wouldn't have got such bad reviews if it wasn't sold as a live service game.

Good month. I have been playing Suicide Squad on Xbox and in my controversial opinion it is better than Balatro. Put me on death row now for crimes against good taste if you like but we all have our preferences.

I think I have played 6 new games this year and this would not be in my top 5. It seems that everyone and their dog this year rates it highly so I must be missing something. I prefer Suicide Squad and that game is just above average in my opinion.

Just fired up my Vita earlier today and it still works after not being used for a few years. Back to Sly 2 on there and hopefully finish God of War Ascension on the PS3 as well

Nintendo is in its own bubble. If Sony has no competition in its space then the PS5 Pro and the current game prices will seem cheap compared to the future this character predicts.

So a game with people shooting each other is lower rated than a virtual game of cards despite 'teaching you how to shoot someone in the head'. The world has gone crazy.

I binged the first 8 and I got a bit tired of them by the end but it started strong. I think 2 or 3 eps at a time is the sweet spot.

Since playing the game I have gradually warmed to it. It's not great but it is slightly above average. I have a feeling the end game will be a slog but the basic game and story has held my attention so far and I think I am halfway through.

This time of year I bet a lot of kids play cards with the family. Report them all to social services. They are not old enough to play these games. Get them on their phones ASAP so they can spend their parents' money.

People are still buying the game despite it not winning Game of the Year. Why aren't they buying Astro Bot instead? It's almost like the award is fairly pointless in the grand scheme of things.
