@Makina Hey kiddo, before DLC became a thing, we had this thing called expansions. They were meaty additions to the main games, not small piecemeal DLC content. Lost Legacy was an expansion of U4, not simple DLC. Same with Blood and Wine with Witcher 3, Death of the Outsider with Dishonored II, and Festival of Blood for InFamous, to give other similar examples. You clearly don't know the difference between DLC and an expansion when you call LL just simple DLC.

@Fight_Teza_Fight It won't be more than $499. Sony isn't stupid enough to commit the same mistake they did with the PS3's original price point. Probably $449 for the -dickless- discless version and $499 for the complete version.

@NinjaWaddleDee It's obvious that Atlus has an exclusivity deal in place with the mainline Persona games with Sony. That's why only spin-off titles appear on other consoles. But it's the same with SMT and Nintendo. It's clear there's one in place there as well, which is why they only come out on Nintendo systems.

I've been dying to play a new Syphon Filter for about a decade now, so I definitely hope they work on a new one next. After that though it would be awesome if they made a Days Gone II, and then go back and forth between each franchise.

Speaking of bad box art, this one takes the cake. ICO is one of my favorite games of all time, but the US box art was just laughably bad.

@finalstan GoW PS4 while not a new IP was a reimagining of the series. I remember a lot of people being wary about the game, because Sony took a long time to have media try it and have hands on impressions on it.

And while DS is a new IP, one just has to look at his previous record. More likely than not this will be another game of the year nominee, as all his titles have been since MGS in 1998. Wouldn't be surprised if it's most publication's game of the year.

@NintendoFan4Lyf Rockstar did the same with RDR2, and Sony with GoW. They didn’t have full gameplay reveals till 3 months before the games came out. Look how they turned out.

@nookie_egg Dude, this is something I've also been hoping for! A Syphon Filter trilogy remake, a la Crash's and Spyro's. Even if it's not Bluepoint (who I think is working on a Demon Souls remake or MGS remake). But get someone else in that case. They really need to bring those games back.

The other series I want a remaster of is The Getaway. In that case just a remaster will do. Been dying to replay these games too, in HD.

@BAMozzy Since you care about playing the best version of console games, does that mean you played every third party game on PS4 from 2013-2017? After all, all third party games ran better on PS4 during that time (and still do when compared to the base Xbox One). Games ran on X1 at 720-900p, while they ran at 1080p on PS4. In some cases they also had more graphical details, and ran at a better framerate as well. So since you care about the best console version and you're not a hypocrite, you were almost strictly a PS4 gamer during the first 4 years of this gen, right? 😇

So they gave real canvas bags to influencers, knowing already that they wouldn't be able to do the same to those who bought the collector's edition. This is an even bigger sign that they willfully tried to misled consumers. It's blatant false advertising. This is going to help those suing Bethesda. What the hell were they thinking?!

This is also so sad to see. I'm a huge Bethesda fan, and I consider them one of the best third party publishers in the industry. But there's no defending what they've done with this game and everything surrounding it. They deserve all the hate and the lawsuits.

@grbolivar PlayStation is my favorite platform, and I have always bought third party games on PlayStation systems, but if that happened to me and Sony didn't help me, I'd be so pissed that I would jump ship and get everything I can on Xbox. I wouldn't feel like supporting Sony anymore if they don't help me after I explained what happened. Especially when there's money on the line.

Things like these is why I buy everything I can in physical format, and will quit modern gaming once it becomes digital/streaming-only. I won't ever lose thousands of dollars in purchases due to any of these corporations' whims.

As two people already mentioned, this would actually be more similar to the Dreamcast controller with a VMU attached, than to the big ol' Wii U GamePad. It would be a small screen to have in-game information and the like.

Anyway, unlike most here I would actually love for Sony to have a version of the DS5 with a mini screen. Those of us who owned a Dreamcast know the VMU was actually a pretty snazzy piece of tech. It provided an awesome feature in many games. It just sadly wasn't copied by other consoles since then. I would love for Sony to bring it back.
