I personally hope death stranding 2 wins an award, think expedition 33 is over rated, for an indie title , while good isnt goty material , though tbh there hasn't been a great deal of of decent games, just like last year when astrobot won it , the games industry is seriously lacking innovation imo. Too many remasters. Remakes. Im hoping once last gen finally gets killed off. It stops current gen being held back

Probably a massive flop, live service, is just another excuse to leech money off gamers. How many times before the message sinks in

Knew this from the beginning, bungie dont have a clue on how to create a decent live service. Just recycled garbage, charging a prefer a stale service. Square enix would have been a better choice imo, as they've turned ff14 around

Good selection, since I only have ps+ essential, very little interest in subscription models , apart from the basic.curiois to see if it remains a paid service, after Microsoft plans to make online play free

Not that fussed, I have the master collection on pc.might buy it once theres a deep sale , in a few years but not rushing out to buy. Have no interest in multiplayer, I dont really play multiplayer, a prefer to have different single player experiences, finished the latest digimon game, almost done with ghost of yotei and started vampire the masquerade 2, even though it pales in comparison to the of game, tbe world/characters are interesting. Also need to give swan song a real chance

I cant wait. Its been 5 years, had ps5 since launch. Rumored to be launching November 2027 , cant wait to see what the next generation leap does, love the touch-screen the feedback , hopefully gen 5 nvme with a bigger hard drive. I'd be willing to pay a grand, considering ps5 pro was £700 . Its also rumored for the ps6 to have 40 series graphics card

Plat it just recently, would love more basim/loki , as its left a cliffhanger, especially if you completed assassins creed valhalla , however a couple of games isnt gonna change Saudi image, and its appalling treatment of people

Always said game pass and subscription models was destroying the gaming industry , its like modt things, start prices low to get people in abd raise prices , especially as Microsoft has close several studios since the acquisition started

@LogicStrikesAgain also takes far longer to develop decent games, 3-4 years and a lot of developers dont take risks, churn out remasters for easy money than taking a risk on new games. Its not surprising, considering how the economy is a mess especially in Europe

Cloud gaming is terrible. The infrastructure isnt there to support it, in the uk at least. I played the remake of elder scrolls oblivion on pc game pass and it ran so slow and sluggish. Ended the 2 week trial and deleted it off my pc 😂

It would make most sense to follow in chronological order MGS peace walker then MGS1 but MGS2 is more likely

@FullMetalWesker you realise peace walker is the prequel to grounds forces and MGS V. Peace walker definitely needs a remake

The cost isnt bad, especially when theres 5/6 years normally between consoles. There been over ten years for ps4/5, plenty of time to save. Plus I just have ps+ essential and can always get deals on cd keys/ shopto etc. Also lack of accountability the hardware has evolved no longer using basic HDDs but now on SSDs etc but a lot haven't increased their jobs, a lot running on minimum wage etc. Cant expect the same prices on advanced hardware

@OldGamer999 there's also the fact, the majority are still running 1080ip tvs and/or don't have correct HDMI cables or tv's capable of HDR10+

Completed it over the weekend, got about 75% of the trophies , probably gonna trade it in for cash. Way too short. The ending was brutal, outdated gameplay, mafia 2 is still the best in the series imo

It looked okay,, I am one of those selective gamers, money is tight atm so only get the big AAA games mostly. There's a lot of games coming out with amazing graphics but shallow gameplay . Probably one to get at the end of year sales . I've kinda stopped buying games as got enough to play/preordered plus massive backlog of games

this movement is dead in the water, games can't be kept running forever, the cost of a server is a lot, not just that the software needed to protect it against hacking and viruses/ firewalls , a lot who comment lack IT knowledge, games will eventually all go digital and games can't be run indefinitely especially as player counts drop . even if you could get the source code, it's not something an average person could do. though saying that gog galaxy does allow drm free versions on pc but console doesn't have the capability . I do think digital content will need to be better regulated in the future but can't expect games to run forever

@Dman10 I'm pretty sure sly racoon is done and suckerpunch have moved on, same for infamous; though saying that someone else could take over the IP

Probably the digital deluxe version for me, don't have the space to store the collectors stuff but nice stuff

Got it installed, will play over the weekend. Looking forward to sequel, hopefully they've improved the shooting/ inventory system

Probably is a flop, games only last 20-30 hours, expects it to sell for £70/$80 , not a snowballs chance in hell. I'd probably only buy for a 50-60 game minimum. The few exceptions probably the trails series, as i buy the limited edition gor about 90 but that's one a year. Or like assassin creed games as the last few have been lengthy 100 hours +, the yakuza games and persona games- P5 royal took over 200 hours to platinum it . I've hardly bought any games in the last 6 months as games have been focused on graphics only lasting sbout 20 hours. Certainly not worth that pricetag

@Darude84 it's shouldn't take long, could probably do it in a 3-4 days if you play non stop and skip dialog

I've completed cyberpunk 2077 6 times. Love everything cyberpunk so don't need an excuse for another run lol

I saw it a mile off, especially since amd has FSR2 - super resolution. As a lot base ps5 games with Ray tracing can't go above 30 fps

Been awesome. Most games hit 60 fps, the stsndard ps5 struggled with 30 fps

Ive not played much , coming towards end of chapter one. Takes time to learn dodging timing or parry. Would have preferred a more traditional rpg with the mechanic as reminds me of a souls games, mebe I'll get used to it lol

Agree 100% especially after the way we got treated by bungie, spending 60-90 quid a year for close to 7 years and then bungie giving the full expansions away for free and then vaulting like 80% of the content. Hard pass, never again . Fool me once , shame on me

Yeah i get that, I played persona 5 and it took easily 100 hours but games like spiderman on the ps5 could be mostly completed in about 20-25 hours., for 70 quid unless it had a season pass etc. Only games I'd pay thst price was thr limited edition of the trails games

Yeah wouldnt pay unless games have a standard length of 50-60 hours. As most games this gen and last have only been 15-20 hours. Get most games from the game collection for 50-55. I'd inly pay 75-80 if it included a season pass/expansion. Plus a lot of games are a mess when launched and need months of patches

@Olmaz yasuke is a Japanese character. Might not be native. Still Japanese but also the point adewale was a black assassin and no one complained, it's only complaining cos it's cool , the hate clearly falls into bigotry and entitled Z gen , there's other games like nioh that features a non Asian samurai. Amongst others. Can always go snd play ghost of tsushima

Looking forward to this, seen a lot of haters coming out the woodwork , moaning its not historical accurate but assassin creed never has been, it's been influenced by history but always had its own spin on things. Also there's been plenty of African Americans in previous games like Adewale in black flag, Achilles devonport in ac3 and in rogue etc

Already paid for new assassins creed and suikoden 1&2 remaster as I missed out on suikoden growing up as I was a teenager when it first came out. Probably get atelier yumia. Mebe pick up atomfall in april along with obscure 33
